“My pizza was baked just how I like it - no brown cheese. As I use a cane, the young man who presented me with my pie went above and beyond and carried the pizza to my car and placed in my car for me. Griffin’s is a go to place for me because their food does not disappoint.”

This place is so cute on the outside, and fast, affordable, and delicious on the inside! Sarah Gray has pulled off the rare feat of creating a place where long-time locals and transplants hang out together, in what feels like your best friend’s living room. Michael and Jenny are brilliant bartenders and make every single person who walks in feel special. The southern comfort food is delicious, the antique store in the front is a perfect place to perch with a friend or catch the live music most weekends. I have never been to or even heard of The little Bake shop but with a quick Google search they were the only ones that were open a little later in the afternoon. I decided to stop in to see if they had anything I could bring and I was able to buy an entire raspberry cheesecake and freshly made creampuffs. Everything was absolutely incredible! fresh, creamy and delicious not to mention the prices were very affordable! I will definitely be back!”

Also, the woman at the counter has always been very sweet and even remembers many peoples names(including my own, and she learned mine years ago after just stopping in a few times)

The food is the purest, realest Chinese food around. It isn’t the weird gel-chicken that a lot of places tend to have.

Average prices, even some on the lower end, quiet service and a big menu to choose from.

I always turn back to this location every week for Chinese. Give them a try and you really will not be let down, if you are, it would be quite the Anomaly.”

“Overall the atmosphere was nice, the staff was attentive, and the food was good. My only complaint was that for a restaurant at that price point (but honestly, I would feel the same at any price point) - I was completely shocked to discover that the side of mashed potatoes I ordered were INSTANT and not real potatoes! I don’t know that I’ve ever been served instant before, even at chain restaurants. Despite that, the rest of my meal was tasty though.”

“I was delivering in the area and ordered some food here. I was a little hesitant because of the rating, usually a restaurant in a small town gets great ratings for good food or slammed for bad food. I tried a slice of pizza, wings and fries. The delivery was very fast, driver very kind (he called to say he arrived instead of beating on my truck).

I must say that everything I had was top quality, still hot and priced well. Again I thought for a pizza restaurant they deserved 5 stars!”

“Brought out-of-state viitor for a mid- afternoon lunch. She ordered from the prix fix menu .... said her calamari and entire meal was perfect. Fiance had King crab legs... huge portion and delicious. My meal was excellent. Definitely going back to this awesome seafood restaurant.”

This was our first trip to Coxsackie NY, I was meeting with a family members here . The three of us found this business and decided to try it.
There were 2 employees manning the counter…a male & a female..”Puppy” & “Kick” were the names they gave me. THEY WERE BOTH AWESOME! So kind, considerate and friendly… and the subs they made were PERFECT!! They absolutely STOOD OUT to us!
They did their job, did it well and made you feel welcome!!

“Visited Catskills for my birthday and I HAD to come here. Mainly to support a Latin modern restaurant. You have to make a reservation in advance. The ambiance and aesthetic of it gives me camp pulp fiction vibes. It was pretty late when we got here so we couldn’t see anything outside of the window which added to the vibe. We started off with mocktails, The Spice girl (deep red), which had a hibiscus pomegranate undertone. The real star was the Face Plant (green), which was more of a lime coconut flavor. Not at all overwhelming and very refreshing. They did their thing with that one! My friend and I both ordered the lamb which was good and it came with warm tortillas. The appetizers are creative. I decided to go with the Pistachio tamal per my servers recommendation and it was 🤌🏼💋. I loved it! It was streamed and not too sweet and melted in my mouth. Go here if you want to be bougie lol”

“We first heard about Via Cassia while visiting Tuscany, and knowing we lived just an hour and an half away from a restaurant that we heard about from across the Atlantic, we had to come visit. We couldn’t have had a better experience! When the owners heard how we found them, they both made sure to come meet us. They were so kind and welcoming and took very good care of us! The food was absolutely incredible, and we got to enjoy the same wine we had while visiting Tuscany. Truly a 10/10 experience and we will absolutely be coming back.”

“You can’t go wrong—try everything and anything. We got a sunflower seed and olive loaf, kouign amann, plain croissant, and a baguette sandwich. Everything was delicious! I’ve never had a kouign amann so light—they’re usually a denser pastry. This was pleasant to eat and left space to eat a lot more ? I wish this bakery was closer to me, I’d be there every day. My husband likes to make bread and was blown away by the quality of the loaf and pastries!”

“We were out and about in Hudson today and we were a little hungry so we stopped into kitties and I had probably one of the best egg sandwiches I ever had. I highly recommend the egg sandwich with sauerkraut. The vibe in there was very comfortable iced coffee Was nice and strong. They had a great bakery selection and a lot of local products. So if you’re coming out of the train station in Hudson, I say swing by kitties you won’t be sorry.”
