“The owner of D&C apparently learned his craft at Umberto's so I was very tempted to try the Sicilian but Newsday really hyped their "pizza al metro", which is also a different type of rectangular pie. It reminds me of the pizza shops we visited in Rome. Some of the Roman pizza shops would sell "pizza al metro" (pizza by the metre), where they make long sheets of pizza and you would specify what length you wanted based on metres (or partial metres).ORDERING TIP: When ordering a metro pie, you actually get two pizza boxes worth of pizza as you can see from the picture. Each box has 6 above average sized square slices (versus 9 slices you usually get from a Sicilian pie) so keep that in mind when ordering. The squares are a little larger than an average sicilian but they are thinner than at Umberto's so the premium pricing is somewhat justified based purely on size. However, from a taste perspective, I am not so sure because I had a couple of issues with the metro Margherita pizza. First, the sauce to cheese ratio is very skewed towards being very saucy and the sauce is very acidic/tangy, which would not be that bad if there was more cheese providing richness to balance the acidity/tangy. But as you can see from the pics, the cheese is more of an afterthought rather than a co-star. Second, the dough is a bit dense, which I think is strange because it is supposed to be super-high hydration dough. The undercarriage is pretty good and there is a good amount of the bubbles that are characteristic of high hydration dough, but strangely, the airiness through the rest of the dough was missing.Given the owner's background, Ihave to come back and try their Siclian.“

“I was very skeptical of this place at first, but it was amazing. So the concept is Italian-Mexican food. It works. And it works very well.We ordered 3 tacos as well as the surf and turf quesadilla. I was absolutely blown away by the taste and quality of everything. The quesadilla was one of the best I've had in a long time. The steak was juicy, the shrimp wasn't chewy, and the flavors were amazing. For tacos, we got the ital-Americano, chicken parm, and maialino. Every one was tasty in its own way. The Ital-Americano was super juicy, the chicken parm was just delicious chicken parm in a shell, and the mialino was juicy with just the right amount of spice.I need to remember next time to sign up for the rewards program since I know I'll be back there a lot.Parking: Parking all over.“

The zucchini onion was a large slice w good sauce and cheese. A good bite. The sausage and broccoli rabe could use more broccoli rabe but it was good square slice. The chicken piccata was great good flavored sauce and chicken cooked well. The Mac n cheese was good square slice w good flavors. The Chicken Alfredo had good sauce flavor but there was a burnt taste not sure if it's a smoky taste but wasn't my fav. We did love the Mac n cheese pinwheel but the start was the pepperoni pinwheel. I love that you can pick your own spices it's in the table. Also you can pick your own drink. Grateful that the work was receptive to the chicken Alfredo slice. “I've lived in the area for years and never been inside this place until two weeks ago. The inside of the establishment has this classy old-school charm about it. It was a tiny bit confusing because they had the podium in the front by the door and the sign on it said to wait there I noticed everybody walked in anyway so I just went. Maybe they can hide that somewhere else until it's that time of the night or something? Anyway, one of my favorites slices is the grandma slice and I had to try theirs because it was suggested over and over to me by many people. So after finally trying one slice, I ended up buying a whole pie and taking it home. Two gentlemen in the back help right away, but not before we joked about something on the television. After the laughter, I placed my order. It got tossed in and came out hot. I grabbed a seat and looked over my meal. It looked pretty standard as pizza goes. The cheesy bread was my favorite. It tasted great and they gave me a sauce to dip them in. The pizza, while good, wasn't great. Let me start by saying, the chicken on top was delicious! I give credit, where credit is due, however, the crust was a bit stale. Maybe I got yesterday's slice, but that how it was. It had great flavor and I would have truly loved it, if not for that hiccup. “It was 5:15 pm on a Saturday night, and it was freezing outside and very windy. Upon walking into Babylon Village, the cold winds hit my face as I was looking for a place to have dinner at. I then came across Bella Pazza. From the moment I walked into the store, I was greeted with a very warm welcome from the owner, Aldo. Aldo was very friendly and answered thoroughly any questions I had about the menu. Aldo treated me like family.I ordered the mini rice balls, sicilian style rice balls, mozzarella sticks, a garlic knot slice, and a cheese slice, and let me say, everything that I had ordered was amazing.
