“Grabbed takeout from Lucky Rabbit Noodles in Dumbo today for me and my best friend and I'm still thinking about it. Dean at the front absolutely made the experience. His energy is so warm and welcoming, and when I asked what to order he didn't miss. Every single recommendation was a 10/10.
We got the noodles, the house dumplings, and the lychee lemonade. All of it is incredible. The noodles have that perfect chew, the dumplings might be the best I've had in Brooklyn, and the lychee lemonade is so good I'm genuinely mad at myself for not ordering a second round.
Great food, great vibes, and staff that make you feel taken care of even on a takeout order. Already planning my next visit. Ask for Dean's recs, you won't regret it!“

The staff were so kind, welcoming, and attentive. They made the whole experience even better with their warm hospitality.
One of my favorite parts was getting to practice a little Thai that I’ve picked up from watching Thai series. It was such a fun moment, and the staff were so sweet and encouraging. It made the visit feel even more special.

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.
Regarding the food:
Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.
Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.
King Salmon: Quite tender.
Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.
Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.
Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“The food at Tuome definitely was super delicious. We got the restaurant week menu, which was a decent amount of food. The deviled eggs in particular were very tasty, with the chili crisp adding a lot of nuance to the classic dish. The snow crab noodles also stood out as incredibly buttery and good. I would absolutely come back and recommend this restaurant to others for the food quality. It felt like a lovely Chinese American meal.
On service, the waiters and manager were extremely nice, but it was a little lacking for a Michelin star. Only 1 additional course, no takeaway goodie bags, and the restaurant itself did not give a fine dining atmosphere. Dress code seemed to be maybe a step below business casual. Nothing to complain about, but I wouldn’t write home about it either.“

“Cute little Thai eatery in upper east side, but there are a handful a tables for dining in.
Loved the lunch specials which come with a choice of appetizer. I went with the spring rolls, which is the correct choice when pairing with a pork pad see ew. I really enjoyed the flavor and consistency of the protein.
My wife went with the chicken pad see ew, and she found it a bit salty.
Regardless of the salt level, the grating sounds of a jackhammer tearing up the street directly outside the front door does not make for appealing ambiance, especially when the door keeps sticking in an open position every time someone enters or leaves.“

“This is a 2nd floor Japanese-Thai speakeasy in Alphabet City where the food menu leans toward Japan while the drinks are Thai-inspired with the menu designed by veteran NYC bartender and Phetchaboon native Sayparn. Her and her partners opened 11 Tigers in 2022 (year of the tiger which symbolizes success). The staff do an excellent job of mixing food and entertainment.“

“Love this place. I usually get the katsu curry udon. They serve high quality, veganized pan-Asian food (Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc). “I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“This was the coolest and most unique dining experience I’ve ever had. It was also the most expensive I’ve ever done, but by the end I was convinced it was worth every penny and they could be charging a lot more and it’d still be worth it.
I went for my partners birthday and two others were celebrating their birthday and the dessert course (which was insane how good it was) had a candle and they brought little cocktails to everyone and we all cheered to the birthday people by name.
We got the alcohol beverage pairing which I highly recommend. First cocktail is shown here and then a few more of the glasses.
Service was impeccable and genuine. Especially Kiyomi (guessing on spelling), her warmth and kind banter put us at ease and we were talking about her all night.
Truly a special place. Plus the mission is so great!“

“This sushi restaurant was everything. Our waiter was so attentive to every detail during our time there. He was so pleasant and very kind, great customer service. The food was delicious. I had sushi with some fried rice and I was very pleased with the taste. But the best thing I liked the most was the decor from the floor to the table setting. “I found this restaurant on the IN KIND app, and the menu looked great. I don’t live far, so I was a little skeptical since I had not heard of it, I used to own a restaurant in the neighborhood, and I eat out several times a week in Manhattan and Brooklyn at the same places that I love, and I also love cooking amazing food for family and friends.
Let’s say, I was pleasantly surprised, and actually blown away! My family is Jamaican, so fusion isn’t always my thing, but this restaurant did the most amazing job with all of the food! The proteins honored the culture, and the fusion elements actually mirrored my favorite Chinese Jamaican spot in Ocho Rios, so all of it honored its roots! ON TOP OF THAT, the vegetables were fresh and flavorful—not overcooked! Excellent. And the jasmine rice was the best rice that I have had anywhere in NYC. PERIOD. A chef that cares about the RICE is definitely putting his foot in the rest of the meal! I had to call back to get the name of Chef Bunny - I needed to know who COOKED that food! And Amanda was extremely helpful with taking our order and fixing a little boo boo in our pickup order. She had the incorrect item Lyft couriered to us - I appreciate the extra effort and expense, as I know restaurants have a tight profit margin. I will definitely be back to dine in - can’t wait.
Our group got the oxtail, jerk chicken, pineapple and basil fried rice, and the ORANGE chicken - I tasted and ate all - each one better than the next. And we topped it off with the bread pudding (and added Haagen Das and whipped cream at home).“

“We came on a Thursday right before the 4th. We were immediately seated and noticed the place was a little warm. Not a big deal because it is one of the hottest days this summer. It's almost 100. We got the High Mixed appetizer and the chicken pad Thai. The sampler was good. Spring rolls were good and the dumplings were good. Couldn't do the crab for seafood allergy but the fourth item, we didn't like. It was the texture and didn't have the flavor I was expecting based on the presentation. Service was ok. They had a little bit of a crowd and got them out of there promptly. The pad Thai was really good. It had the perfect amount of flavor and it was light. We needed it to be light because it is hot outside and we still have a lot of walking to do. Overall, it was good. That last item on the High Mixed can go.“

“Let me just say beef bar is now my absolute favorite restaurant . I came here for my birthday and fell in love !! My waitress was Sammie and she was the most attentive and sweet and helpful waitress ever !! Make sure you ask for her when you go I promise you she will give you the best experience . Make sure you order the beef wagyu quesadillas and the black truffle mash potatoes !!!! They are to dieeee for ! “This place is beautiful awesome playlist. I went on a Sunday and there was plenty of parking but I am sure it would be more difficult on a weekday until after 6pm when street parking becomes available. The burger and fries very solid, the el mensajero drink was excellent, I had some toast with ricotta, honey and almonds that was really good as well. It wasnt very crowded but the space is awesome I would like to go back on one of their event days. Overall good experience will come back for sure.“
