“50 Flavors of Empanadas? SAY no more. One of my favorite Empanada places in Queens.

Empanada: 🥟 They have so many options to choose from. Honestly, it can be overwhelming. I'll let you know my top 3 favorites. My first go to is the Mac and Cheese empanada. It is so delicious and cheesey. Mac and cheese inside an Empanada. Yes! My second go to will be the Chicken Parm empanada. It has the fried chicken pieces mixed with mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce inside an empanada. So delicious and tasty. Now my third favorite is the cheeseburger empanada. Beef and yellow american cheese inside an empanada. It's amazing! Those are my top 3 favorites but they have so many more options like Cuban, Meatball Parm, Hotdog and Cheese, Broccoli and Cheese. They also have dessert empanadas that include stuff like Bananas and Nutella.

Price: 💲Most of the empanadas are all in the $2.65 to $2.95 price range. 3 would be around $10 which is very decent price honestly.
WARNING: They are Cash Only. No Card Payment. Thete is an ATM on the wall outside though you can use.

Location: 🗺 They are located right across the street from Queens Center Mall. Around the corner from the subway station. Nearby Subway station include the Woodhaven station with the R and M local trains. Nearby Busses include the Q60, Q53, Q52, Q11, Q14, Q88, Q98, Q59“

“I ordered on door dash and I can honestly say the food was good and fresh. I ordered a chicharron monfongo and a tres golpe with a beef pastelito and a papa rellena. I honestly do not understand the bad reviews. The prices are very reasonable too. Worth giving them a try.“

“Awesome staff! Don’t know his name but he is very welcoming and nice! The chocolate chip cookie smelled so good when it just taken out from the oven that I had to get one! And the rum-infused latte was contained in such a cool container!
Iced rum-infused latte is so good! You can taste the flavor of rum when u drink the latte but it actually has no alcohol in it. It’s just bc the coffee beans were soaked in rum during the processing of the beans.
The chocolate chip cookies smelled so good, tasted good too, but just too sweet for me (I got an East Asian mouth).“

“I love that when I first walked into this store, I was greeted by the baristas (Felix and Brooke). They were so warm, gave great recommendations, and very helpful with explaining the beans to me (wanted to buy some for work). The store itself very charming and inviting. I got the coquito latte (iced) with the rum blend. Warm spices, not too sweet, and it comes in a nice bag. Would definitely stop by again when I’m in the city.“

“I stop in here a couple of mornings a week, and the coffee is consistently good; the espresso has real body, and the tres leches latte is excellent when I want something indulgent. The app with order-ahead is useful. Docking a star because if you haven't ordered ahead, the line around 8:30 moves slowly. They take their time with each drink, which I respect, but it's not the move if you're trying to catch a train. Go after nine, and it's a much more relaxed experience.“

“Had dinner with eight colleagues. Really wonderful experience. The waiter was excellent with valuable knowledge of the wine list. The food was excellent starting with great appetizers (sweetbreads, salads, empanadas) and the mixed grill was outstanding. Blood sausages were particularly good. Fun experience all around.“

“Cute spot for a quick empanada snack; there are no indoor seating. The ropa vieja empanada was delicious. Not big on the carnita as it's not as flavorful as the other empanadas. Each flavor of empanada has a marking on it just in case you forget which one is which when you take them out of the separated bags . Chicken noodle soup is tomato based.“

“El Coco has an amazing $20 2-hour bottomless brunch drink deal! Mimosas, Bellinis, Bloody Marys or Sangrias... Plus $8 margs all day everyday... The options are endless!! They sell a variety of things, but let me be clear—the empanadas are the star of the show. Oh. My. Gosh. They are packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and BIG. You can literally get full off just one.

If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and try their empanadas. I have to warn you though: once you taste one from this spot, you’ll never be satisfied with an empanada from anywhere else. You’ll only crave theirs.
