On top of the phenomenal food, the staff is always so genuinely warm, welcoming, and remarkably fast with every order.

“Another amazing dinner from Katsuno. Our favorite authentic Japanese restaurant in NYC came through for us once again, this time with take-out. Tonight we had the Tuna Avocado Salad, Nigiri Sushi, Pork Hirekatsu, and Tempura Udon. All served with a refreshing can of Funaguchi Kikusui Sake. Everything was fresh and delicious as always and served curbside in a safe no contact manner. Thank you Katsuno!“

“Great service, the food is such a great value when you go for happy hour, but even normal price hand roll set is a good deal. Very tasty sashimi, my favorite were the salmon roll and yellowtail hand roll.

“I'd recommend this place ... sort of. We chose to sit on the dining side since it was only two of us and didn't want the "show". The service was friendly and good but not overly attentive. Our drinks were very good and a fair price (we had the Oceanside Zombie but without the Sprite added). We both ordered the hibachi surf and turf (lobster and filet mignon) which came with a house salad and clear soup, both of which we really enjoyed. The filet was tasty but the pieces were cut very unevenly so some pieces were medium rare and others were close to well done. The lobster tail was very small and too salty. I would not order it again. I was completely disappointed that the veggies were drowning in teriyaki sauce. There was no indication on the menu that they are served in sauce. I typically love hibachi vegetables but I hate teriyaki sauce! They reminded me more of Chinese takeout vegetables than Japanese hibachi. The fried rice was good but not the best. It came with lots of peas and I hate peas. Another disappointment but not a surprise was they don't offer hibachi mustard sauce. Like so many other places these days they offer yum yum sauce instead which we refused because, yuck yuck. They offered us some ice cream on the house (I think because the server knew I was very disappointed about the teriyaki sauce). It came to the table in little plastic cafeteria style cups with the pull back paper top. LOL. I'm glad it did though because the top listed the ingredients and let's just say, we immediately sent the ice cream back. All in all, not the greatest hibachi experience but also not the worst. I would maybe go back for drinks and try some other menu items ... and hold the teriyaki sauce!“

“This spot is a neighborhood GEM. I hope the people living here know this. Best Sushi and sashimi for miles around. Solid everytime. The fish is kept well and served well. The whole family works here and they are so nice and friendly. The dad who is the sushi chef has one of the fastest hands around. He just cranks the orders out like butter. The store has about 6 tables but they are never packed. But while I dine in the takeout orders are endless. This man can handle it all and still can chat with you.I wish I lived nearby.... “Got Thai pepper stake, chicken with cashew nut, tempura roll, tom yum soup, duck salad and tonkatsu Ramen. They are all good. Actually i would say it's balanced between 2 worlds. It's flavorful enough to satisfied our asian taste but not overpowered like old schools foods so it's suitable for people of all ethic background. Example their duck salad is my wife favorite. It included avocado which normally are not in thai duck salad but somehow they make it work really well. She also praised the tonkatsu Ramen. She said it's tasty and delicious. My favorite is Thai pepper stake. When they brought out , my wife said oh I can smell aroma of spiciness, I think it's gonna be spicy and hot. It wasn't and it was pleasantly delicious. Just right amount of kick and sweetness. The service is really well too. the young lady named Muu took care of us and she was very polite and caring. Excellent service. The restaurant is Very well priced also. You get a lot of bang for your bucks. Overall very satisfied. We will definitely going back again and again“

“First off, I absolutely love Yellowstone Sushi! I’ve always ordered sushi rolls here because they’re consistently fresh and delicious. Tonight I decided to be a little adventurous and try sashimi for the first time. I ordered the sashimi appetizer, not realizing it’s normally an assortment of different fish, and I had requested only salmon.

They called me to explain the menu and, as a one time courtesy because I didn’t know, they kindly offered to make it with just tuna and salmon instead. I want to be clear that this was a special accommodation they made for me and not something they normally offer.

I thought that was incredibly thoughtful and such wonderful customer service. They took the time to call, explain everything, and make sure I had a great first sashimi experience instead of just sending the standard order.
