“We placed an order for a smash burger without the cheese - the restaurant accidentally put cheese on it and I was quite upset because we confirmed it many times (lactose intolerance)… the person who helped me was super super nice, he re-made the entire order AND had it delivered to us for free, AND was nice enough to add courtesy drinks. Genuinely it felt it was really sincere an apology and I actually really appreciated that. Will definitely order from them again (maybe I’ll just check my order next time though). My friend and I ate a bacon egg and cheese on toast. The entire sandwich is a beautiful presentation. The toast was golden brown, warm and sliced as to envelope the ingredients. The cheese a warm gooey skin around the walls of the toast. The bacon, added wonderful flavor to the fluffiest eggs I have seen in quite a while. I highly recommend stopping in and trying it for yourself. Your taste buds will thank you!“

“I have been frequenting the Kookaburra Malverne location on and off for several years. The only downside is they close a bit early for my schedule and they only take cash. Other than that, this location is full of phenomenal humans. The customer service is unparalleled. Every single time that I can remember there that’s been a superb interaction with the baristas and the clientele. Today one is the baristas wishes a client Happy Birthday anniversary wishes and the client was so moved. Heck, I was moved. A couple of months ago I was here and heard a client place an order and received the order and said it wasn’t what she ordered. In many cases folks would get annoyed as they made what the client requested, but the barista was so kind and professional, but mostly so kind and understanding and she remade the clients order and offered the “mistaken” beverage for the client to take at no charge. It was such a great moment to witness. The energy in here is quite welcoming and positive. Our furry babies are welcome and everyone is treated with respect and kindness.

She was funny pleasant and took care of us. Long story short, after great apps and drinks, paid the bill and left…I dropped a $50 out of my pocket after I paid and left and was only 2 store fronts down and she came after me telling me you dropped a bill and gave it back. You don’t see this honestly often anymore. Kudos to her and Rove deserves her as an employee.“

“Well well worth it! This hidden gem is located in the heart of kew garden near many local transportation! With ample parking and extremely welcoming staff, the restaurant was well worth the trip! The decor and atmosphere were amazing! Food was extremely delicious and fairly priced! They had a fun bar and a nice selection of cocktails and wines. The knowledge of the staff when it comes to drinks and different wines was top notch and very delicious! Overall, had an amazing dinner and experience.

“It's our first time here, we wanted a more regular style of pizza vs the regular Danni's pizza that we normally get in the neighborhood so we decided to give this one a shot. There pene slice was delicious and the garlic knots were fabulous, best ones I've had yet actually. We also ordered a cheese slice and the pepperoni , I found the pizza to be to floppy I would have preferred more of a slight crunch and sturdy slice. But none the less it satisfied my craving for a classic regular NY slice“

“Sometimes you’re just looking for a little beach time and some great BBQ – and Batesy's BBQ delivered on both! We were in town helping another G-FORCE location with an Amazon project, so naturally, we took a break to explore the local food scene. First Impressions: We kicked off with the Deviled Eggs – the jalapeño added a nice little kick while the bacon... well, it was bacon – crispy and delicious. Next up were the House Pickles – sweet, vinegary, and unexpectedly tasty. Who knew pickles could be this good? The Mains: Harry went with the Pulled Pork – packed with flavor, moist, and paired with an excellent sauce. The Potato Salad stood out with just the right-sized chunks, and the Cornbread? Perfectly crispy on the outside. Steve opted for the BBQ Chicken – tender and juicy, coated with that same outstanding house sauce. And the Kielbasa? This place might not be Polish, but they nailed it – full of flavor and definitely a surprise hit! The Potato Salad reminded us of Grandma’s homemade classic, and the Collards had a unique twist that, honestly, we didn’t hate. The rest of the table didn’t hold back either – from the Burger to the Mac and Cheese and, of course, more Pulled Pork, it was all a hit!
