“The 2 young guys at the front are always so pleasant. The donuts, bagels, etc. are good. They listen when asked to make a drink a certain way, and they don't get an attitude about it. I've only had good experiences the times I've visited this location.“

“I feel bad for the nice tall lady who runs this place during the day having to deal with the ratchet high school and middle school kids who think they’re a bunch of hard gangsters. If she didn’t have to come out and tell them to shut the hell up 3-4 times it wouldn’t have taken 20 minutes to get a double cheeseburger and a mc chicken.Those kids deserve to get slapped across the face“

“Just have to give a quick shoutout to Hard Bean on Merrick Ave. Victor and his wife Elise opened 10 days ago just north of the train station. My fiancé and I were talking to the owners and learned that opening a coffee shop was Victor’s dream. After working at his previous career for almost 30 years, he retired and opened this place. It’s charming inside and the coffee is delicious and less expensive than *$s. They are literally a mom and pop shop and after spending some time there I wanted to post to support and recommend Hard Bean to all the locals.“
