“The Copperhead Club in Peekskill is truly a hidden gem! I went with my kids on Christmas Eve last year, and it was such a special experience—the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Since then, I’ve been back often, especially for happy hour, and it never disappoints. One of my absolute favorites is their onion dip with chips—it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had! It takes me right back to the holidays—Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter—when my family would always have onion dip, Copperhead takes it to a whole other level. Their homemade peanut butter shot is also incredible (with whiskey, I believe)—smooth, unique, and dangerously good. The chef, bartenders, and waitstaff are all so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere feels like family, and to top it off, the sunsets over the Hudson River right across the street are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The Copperhead Club isn’t just a place to grab a drink or a meal—it’s a true treasure in Peekskill. If you have never had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant, I suggest you run - do not pass go - and get your butt there and eat the most delicous food on this planet. The chef created the meat lasagna - a simple dish - and elevated to something that just melts in your mouth with deliciousness. LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant!!“

“The Tapp is the quintessential local bar. The staff are very friendly, the burgers are phenomenal (as is everything else on the menu), and the prices are more than reasonable. If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“

“We always enjoy stopping by Black Dirt Bourbon Barn whenever we’re shopping at Woodbury Common. It’s the perfect place to take a break, relax for a bit, and recharge before continuing our shopping.

They have a really nice selection of beers, bourbons, wines, ciders, and creative cocktails, so there’s something for everyone. We especially appreciate the variety of local craft beverages they offer.

One of my favorite things about this place is the snack menu. The charcuterie boards, cheeses, and other small bites are perfect for sharing while enjoying a drink. It’s a great spot to unwind without having to sit down for a full meal.

The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is always friendly, and it’s become one of our favorite little traditions whenever we’re at the outlets. If you’re spending the day shopping, I definitely recommend making a stop here—you won’t regret it! 🍻“

“We had a quiet, comfortable stay while heading south through New York and New Jersey. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked with the exception of one lightbulb, which was quickly replaced. The front desk staff and the maintenance engineer were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Our one “complaint” was with the height of the toilet seat. For old folks with old knees, it’s much too low and there was nothing to grab onto. It also would have been helpful to have a listing of the tv channels. There was no channel guide on the remote. We had to surf through the channels to see what was on. We had a very good dinner in The Koi Lounge. Food was good! Price was reasonable! Server/bartender was very pleasant, but service was slow because she was working alone. The kitchen is not adjacent to the lounge, so she had to do lots of running back and forth. The main restaurant was closed because the hotel was not busy enough to warrant opening it in the middle of this week. The breakfast buffet @ $18 was very good. It featured a good variety of hot and cold items + eggs/omelettes cooked to order. Good coffee! We would stop here again when passing through.“
