“My companions and I spent a few hours in the Bronx and chose to dine at CPK because we like the convenience of Atlas Park.

After being seated by the pleasant hostess we were greeted by Ariella, our server, who seemed to perform double duty as the bartender. I was asked if I was a member of their rewards program and gave the server my phone number so she could see if I had any rewards or special offers (I didn’t).

We skipped the appetizers and focused on the lunch menu, which, like most other chain restaurants these days offers a two-item deal. I ordered the BBQ chicken salad and a mushroom/pepperoni/sausage pizza. While we waited for our entrees, the server brought us a small plate of bread and olive oil, which was a nice, unexpected treat.

I enjoyed my meal and felt that the portion and quality were worth the $13.99 price. For dessert, we ordered the butter cake and build-your-own sundae. I thought the butter cake, which comes with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream was quite good, but would’ve been better if the entire cake was as warm as the center. I still recommend it.

I enjoyed my CPK experience and would consider adding it back to my rotation.

We also consistently get the Lentil Sambusas which come with a fiery hot sauce. If you want something more classic, they have two sandwich options. A Lentil based burger or a Lion’s Mane Chicken sandwich. Both are really good and come with fantastically seasoned fries. If you go for brunch they’ve got a handful of awesome breakfast items like an SEC, Breakfast burritos, and even a vegan vanilla ice cream infused French toast which is a MUST. “This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! “Went for an early dinner like 4:30 pm for a pizza, we were the only ones in there.

As expected service was super attentive and very friendly and kind.

I ordered the honey pepperoni pizza. I ate the whole thing minus a few crusts. The sauce was delicious.

I appreciate Kimika’s creative menu with plenty of vegetarian options. Our waitress Kara/Cara was so friendly and helpful. I started with a Spritz that I think could’ve used some more bubbles, but the flavors were on point. The food was good but I felt like there could’ve been a bit more flavor. We tried the Truffle Carbonara, Soy Butter Bigoli, and Eggplant Katsu - I think the Bigoli was my favorite (think elevated lo mien). For dessert, we tried the lava cake, matcha French toast (would get it with ice cream if I were to over come again) and the Nutella Bombolocini (very creative - think mochi stuffed with Nutella).
Overall, I loved the concept of Kimika and the service, but I think there could’ve been just a tad more flavor in some of our dishes. Definitely a place to try once!“

“I went there with my boyfriend and his father during a trip in NYC and we weren’t disappointed. My boyfriend had the kofta kobab which had a very meaty texture. I don't know exactly how Chloe figured out how to accomplish this feat -- especially for a vegan pancake -- and I don't really care. All I know is if I lived in NYC, I would be eating that stack of cinnamon swirl pancakes -- slathered in maple butter and syrup -- at least once EVERY weekend, maybe twice.

They are that good.

“A fully vegan Korean restaurant situated right in the heart of Manhattan?! My west coast heart is pounding in jealousy and longing to return once again. It's often very hard to find restaurants that serve fully vegan Korean food so the fact that this exists is truly special. A lot of items will be vegetarian at best so to be able to have an extensive menu to order from is a treat. My friends and I came here for lunch and were seated fairly quickly in their hip restaurant. I ordered a couple of things: - Combination Pancakes consisting of sweet corn cilantro, scallion & spicy kimchi offerings. This was their take on traditional Korean jeon and I didn't realize they'd bring out so many small pieces for the table. My favorite was definitely the sweet corn cilantro. - Crispy Korean Chili Tofu Lunch Special, which included a soup and salad of the day as well as two additional banchan (including a pancake!) The tofu was fried to sweet perfection and the chili sauce was top notch. There ended up being more than enough food just from this alone. I hope this spot sticks around because I'll certainly be coming back to fill my Korean cravings without needing to play around with the menu at other restaurants. By any regular metric, this is a 5/5. Unfortunately, this is New York. More unfortunately, they have a Michelin star. Thus, they must be judged within the strata in which they belong.

The ingredients were FRESH. This is their calling card. The carrots, the squash, the beets, the buckwheat. Kudos to their souring.

The meal is an imbalanced (to me and my table). We were craving protein, and this place highlights the produce. I will say the tastiest dish was a non meat course (mushrooms in a dashi broth)

You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite!
