He’s a very nice person never had an issue food it always top quality and very respectful hopefully it remains the same.

“This Chinese restaurant has some of the best food I’ve had out of all the Chinese places I’ve been to. Their Lo Mein especially is so delicious. If you ask for white meat chicken in meals like the General Tso’s or Sesame chicken meals, it will make your experience even more awesome. Tried some new things like Chop Suey and Buddha's delight. Everything is super solid and delicious, lots of sauce. Everything arrived hot and I think they are now my favorite take out Chinese in the area. Normally eggplant and garlic sauce is dripping with oil. This was not. Ditto for the tofu. The fried rice was great in my lunchtime order, definitely not dry.
I won't name names, but I see reviews that have 1 star on atmosphere, appeared to have been delivery. Maybe you meant your own space (where you consumed the food) has a terrible atmosphere?

I also won't name my regular Chinese restaurant's name either, it is safe to say that I now have switched to new. No 1

“Only 20 years of experience eating at Gold Coin. I grew up with a paper route on 6th Ave in Highland park. I had it all planned out. I would deliver my papers up one side of the street, and then ride over to gold coin and order my shrimp with lobster sauce. Omg that was 4-5 days a week. That was the best dinner on the planet. Still no restaurant on this planet can come close to the taste and flavor. Then I would deliver to the other side of 6th ave, only to grab my dinner and eat it on my bicycle on the way home.

They’re so friendly; and quick too. Usually always arriving early unless they’re slammed. I’ve seen a lot of Chinese food places changing their foods up but this place is the old school authentic real Chinese food you had as a kid.

But the staff is super nice and friendly. They have the website you can order from.
Been ordering from here the last two years now. I’d say this is the best place for Chinese especially in Troy NY. Maybe even around. Haven’t tried Chinatown yet but hopefully in my future.
