“This was the best Uyghur food I’ve ever eaten, and I eat a lot of Uyghur food. The chicken and rice was absolutely magnificent, but make sure you can handle some spice. The chicken kewap blew my group out of the water with its deliciousness, and don’t even get me started on the polo. Incredible 🤌🏼. And this was some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. Despite a slight language barrier, the staff worked their hardest to ensure my comfort and enjoyment. Next time I’m in New York, I will eat here every night. Come to this restaurant if you want to enjoy your food. If not, go anywhere else.“

“Came here yesterday for a late lunch/early dinner. We ordered the Indonesian veggie samba, California sushi rolls and spicy tuna sushi rolls. The food was excellent. Service was good. Food was prepared quickly and tasted fresh and delicious. The atmosphere and the visual effects on the wall makes for a great ambience. Definitely coming back here in the future.“

“Quick, affordable and tasty dry hot pot. You walk in, grab a bowl and tongs, choose your ingredients and hand it over to the cashier to cook. Price is based on weight, but one bowl around 1.5 lb was enough for the two of us. We opted for the “tiny spicy” level and it was just the right out amount of kick — not too spicy but just enough to get you sniffling. The seasoning the chef put it was great too. Highly recommend“

“One of the remaining old school sit down Chinese restaurants with white table cloth. Prices are fair, food is fresh, service is great. If you want reliable Chinese food, Pearl East is your place to eat. The seafood soup is delicious, the paper shrimp is homemade, the soft filo around the shrimp is fried to perfection everytime. We always go for the Lobster with ginger and scallion, I highly recommend it. Fresh lobster! I am getting hungry just writing this review.“

“Love this place. The staff is great and the food is very tasty. There are alot of restaurants that cook Pakistani food, but this one always hits home and reminds me of Pakistan. I love their parathas.

I see many comments that are negative and would like to remind people that fresh food takes time. If a restaurant takes 2 minutes to hot your food - it’s most likely being microwaved lol.“

I used the buy-one-get-one-free deal to try their Chicken Shoyu Ramen, which had subtle, balanced flavors and was very well prepared. The ramen came al dente—perfect for reheating without the noodles getting soggy. I also appreciated that they packed the noodles and toppings in a separate compartment from the broth to keep everything fresh. For the affordable price, the food and the deal were excellent.“

“Overall, Haiku is pretty good, they are consistent and I like them. To my understanding, there are 3 locations around me including the White Plains, Scarsdale and Bronxville locations. I have found that the Bronxville location ONLY charges me for a lesser substititution. I ordered a sushi roll and opted out of TUNA for a substitution that is cheaper in price, and I was charged a fee, again, only at this location, as I have done this at the White Plains/Scarsdale locations and no additional fee was charged. I cannot see why I was charged a fee, like I said, the replacement that I opted for is lesser in price than tuna and I believe the sushi is made fresh everytime, so I would say it was an INCONVENIENCE fee, but in this instance, I don't know if that can be applied, but who knows. Again, only at this location. Just a heads up for fellow customers.“

I originally was craving some type of Korean wings I thought this place would have that but they really don't because I ended up getting a spam crispy roll thing it's like sushi only with Spam sounds gross but it's actually really good. And some wings. This food was higher quality than I thought even though it was a little expensive it's okay though because you get what you pay for and this food was banging. And I mean BANGING. Since this is a day trip for me and this is a food court, I wanted to sample around. Here, there's a dedicated menu section on takoyaki, so I decided it must be worth a try.There are 4 different takes on takoyaki. I took T1, the classic take with bonito flakes. Menu says jumbo, but actually it's just slightly larger than the mini ones I've had else where. Taste is good, but as always everywhere, they don't really put much octopus in them. Their version also weren't sweet which was a good thing. I don't like the fact that many Japanese dishes mix sweet and savory together. Overall, it was a good experience.“

The lamb over rice takes the cake for the best food you can get, and there is a generous amount of sauce and meat, with bell peppers too(white sauce + hot sauce is the best option). I come here when I crave rice and something spicy. They offer cold dishes as side dishes or you can have them as part of of your lunch meal. Got the tofu shreds and celery, bamboo shots in chili oil, and the beef tendon & tripe. They were all delicious. I know other places have cheaper prepared rice dishes like this around flushing but if im in NY food court, this is a nice meal as well which includes hot soup.

Ive recommend their hot oil chili hicken, chicken feet, and the fried fish too. I see lots of locals get their hot rice dishes. Might be worth a try too!“

I asked if they could give me a side of sprouts and chopped peanuts on the side(which id gladly pay for) so i can add them on to my pad kee mao myself. Nope. The girl said they have to make the dish the right way. Whatever that means. I didn't ask them to alter the dish. I asked to buy sprouts and chopped peanuts on the side.
Seems like such a simple request to make a customer happy..but apparently getting some peanuts and bean sprouts on the side is impossible to get. It's so weird...considering, we've been good customers for years i find it strange that they wouldnt do this. I mean, they will alter the spice level if you ask..they will leave out onions or mushrooms if you ask. But getting peanuts and sprouts on the side..absolutely not. Its such a small thing to say no to. And i dont get it. I wasn't asking them to alter the dish. I wanted a couple of tablespoons of peanuts and some bean sprouts on the side..which they always give on the with the regular pad tai which i was willing to pay for. Such a strange thing to say not to.“

I ordered my food over the phone and spoke to a beautiful person on the phone, she was so sweet even when I got a little sassy with her totally my fault. I was hangry and I had a couple of drinks and did some gardening. My boyfriend suggested this place and could not stop raving about it. We are already planning a date night to have some drinks and more food, want to try the sushi .“

“I know it’s weird to leave a review for a mall food court restaurant, but this one deserves it!This place is incredible. As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of options. Also, the veggies were fresh and seasoned really well (which is rare for any restaurant when it comes to vegetables).The servers were really friendly and smiled at me as they served me.
