“Stopped in for an early dinner on a Saturday. It was quiet for a Saturday. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. I hadn’t been there in a couple of years, so we decided to stop in. They usually have some terrific specials in addition to the menu. Patrick will always give great advice on what to try. My wife had a huge lobster roll and I had a panko encrusted baked cod. Both were specials and both were terrific. While it’s a bit out of the way, it’s a great spot. The deck is covered and overlooks the 18th green of the golf course. Very enjoyable.“

“This morning myself and my friend came in for breakfast for the first time and had some amazing food . This was my first time in a vegan restaurant and the food was tasty and the coffee was great ! This spot is worth a try and a nice change from a conventional breakfast .“

I have a problem with tolerating a lot of unusual ingredients and they even go out of their way to omit garlic and onion in my dishes. (You can imagine the extra burden on the restaurant and my simple ask of the possibility led to them always going out to their way to make sure my orders are gluten, dairy, onion and garlic free (and still just fricking amazing, 2 extra meals in leftovers). Their social media director (?) Is brilliant, and all their events, social engagement are impressive and I'm just thrilled to have this gem of an establishment here to patronize.“

They get busy with lunch rush from the hospital and still manage to get everyone in and out. I highly recommend their spicy falafel gyro! My daughter loves their chopped salmon and her best friend is obsessed with the chopped cheese sandwiches. It gives NYC deli vibes. I come here for lunch every week and have yet to leave unsatisfied. “The food was delicious! It’s a casual sit-down eatery with a relaxed atmosphere. They don’t serve alcohol, which is worth knowing ahead of time.

We had the spicy dumplings and the spicy Mala beef noodle soup. The soup came with lightly cubed and fried tofu, tofu sheets, crunchy mushrooms, bean sprouts, lean and tender pieces of beef, and fresh ramen noodles in a very spicy, flavorful broth. The portion was generous—one bowl was big enough for two adults to share. The noodles tasted especially fresh and had just the right amount of chew.

The spicy dumplings were delicious as well. I even took some of the ramen noodles from the soup and dipped them into the spicy chili oil from the dumplings, which was very tasty.

For dessert, we tried the Portuguese custard tarts. They were OK, but I’d still recommend trying them. They’re not super sweet and lean a little more savory—think toasted, buttery croissant.

For two people, the bill came to about $48, including a can of Sprite, a can of seltzer, and tax. I tipped $20 on top of that. Service was pretty good overall.

“This place is amazing. I didn't know what to expect going in to the all you can eat restaurant. I was happily surprised that it's not buffet style. Servers and bussers. The restaurant is nicely styled and comfortable. The greeters and wait staff couldn't have been kinder or more professional. $28.99 is worth every penny just for that. The longest we had to wait between orders was no more than 5 minutes. The food was fresh, perfectly presented and absolutely delicious! I really can't find the superlatives to describe it. Everything combined made this experience one of the best outings I've ever had. I HIGHLY recommend this place.“

“We just stopped in for dinner for tye first time since the grand re-opening and I can confirm that the food is absolutely just as excellent as it was before the tragic explosion that closed the restaurant for what seems like forever! And the new building and seating are far superior to those in the prior incarnation. Sonya and her family have done it again! For us, Pad Thai Noodle is an essential fixture in the restaurant scene of the Capital District. Their Green Curry (my favorite) and the signature Pad Thai (my wife’s fave) are simply unmatched around here. Highly and unreservedly recommended.“

As soon as we walked in I could smell how good this place was going to be. The overall atmosphere was a really nice mix of casual and more upscale. Upon entering the restaurant area this morning I was met by the hostess, Monique, who welcomed me with a smile! My server, Kristy was superb! My breakfast meal was prepared perfectly… from taste to presentation everything was great. I checked, spoke with another staff member named Sandra and learned that the Chef’s name was Andrew. Additionally, the busboy, Justin also checked with me to see if I was ready for my plate to be removed or if there was anything I needed. Good job, Justin! By the way, I am a traveling businessman that goes to a lot of places. I am not a paid Reviewer!!! I cannot say enough good about Mr. D’s restaurant.
