“My companion and I had dinner at Placid Pines earlier this week. I ordered the Reuben Grill sandwich and he had the Open-Faced Hot Roast Beef sandwich. Both were excellent. The corned beef in my Reuben was very lean and delicious, as was his roast beef. We both had the pumpkin crunch cheesecake for dessert, which was also very good. For a small pub like Placid Pines to serve such delicious food is a testament to their chef and kitchen staff.“

“We love the Caldwell House ~ it’s our go to for all special occasions. We came tonight and were so sad to find out they quit serving their famous cheese and crackers. That was our absolute favorite thing about coming here.“

“We had reservations at the hotel for the weekend, so we decided to check out the restaurant. Several was helpful and pleasant. We did not wait long. When we got the food it wasn't bad but expected alittle better for the price. Food was luke warm. Only got two pieces of broccoli, no bread or rolls. Salad was good.“

“I’ve been going to Monte Cristos for years and never leave disappointed. Friendly staff, great food, beautiful view! My only problem is I seldom stray from the Buffalo Burger, absolutely delicious! Highly recommended if you’re looking for some good eats while enjoying Lake George!“
“we loved our stay. The views were beautiful and so relaxing. The food was delicious, and we loved that you could order at the Cabana bar as well as in the restaurant. We were not disappointed with anything we ordered. Best risotto I've ever had. Our bartender was very attentive, friendly and made great drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting lakeside in the evening relaxing with drinks. All staff were friendly, very helpful and hard working. We truly appreciate their hard work, and it didn't go unnoticed. The beach was clean and so family friendly. We just enjoyed sitting in the chairs, which were in the water and observing the breathtaking views. We were walking distance to the wonderful Lake George village. Our room was comfortable, clean and great AC. The fire pits at night were a great addition. our stay was very relaxing and we had a great time.“

“When I’m in Lake George every other month or so, I frenetically come here and #1 pizza. I cannot tell you how great the food and service always is. Jasmine and Joe thanks for the great conversation and turning on the Syracuse B ball game. Never a bad experience. Love this place.“
“Went to our 1st Super Bowl Party at the Lakeside Lounge @ The Fort William Henry It was amazing ! The room was set up perfect the food was amazing ! Managers Marie & Renee took great care of us and our sever Taylor was doll the bartenders were Very accommodating! The outside view with a fire pit topped it all off had the best time. Hope they do it again next year.🏈🏈“

“I ordered 2 chef salads for take out. I also ordered extra salad dressings. When I picked my order up the girl behind the counter was cheerful and so friendly. She showed me everything in the bag .I also received 2 salad dressings Extra and a fresh loaf of delicious bread . The salads were huge and absolutely the best we have had . Definitely will order again . Excellent.“

“ADK nachos were super good!! My husband got the steak and loved it. I did half a chicken with homemade bbq sauce, sweet potato fries and Mac n cheese. Chicken and fries were soooo good. I found the Mac n cheese to be bland but I think that’s the style if you were to pile on something bbq flavored then it would have been better. On its own it wasn’t my taste but everything else was very good. Can’t wait to go back next trip to Lake George!“
