“Tuman's Bar in 1969 was one of the bars I used to hang out with my friends that served me drinks when I was only 16. I had some great times there listening to Simon and Garfunkel's the sound of silence sitting at a booth in the back room kissing and swapping spit with a beautiful girl. Those were the good times in my memories.“

“We stopped at River Road House on a whim while we were traveling home from vacation on 7/31. The bartender that greeted and served us was extremely kind. She was helpful and personable. The food was EXCELLENT! After being away for a week, my husband said that it was the best meal that he had the entire time we were away. He ate the steak with blue cheese topping. I was also pleasantly surprised with the house salad and soup of the day. We would completely recommend River Road House!“

“Just as good as it always was. Went there today after years of not living in Amsterdam (used to be a frequent customer when I lived in the area) . Perfect ambience. Food was amazing, service was above average our waitress handled the whole dining room in such a good way. She was super attentive, but didn’t hassle us to eat quickly. Even bought some sauce to take home because it was so good. Thank you Russos staff for a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend meal. 5 stars all the way“
