“We came to Mama’s Pho on our way back to Vermont; arriving early at 4 we had the place to ourselves. Staff were courteous and attentive to our order. The place is clean and decorated in a way to feel like you were eating a home cooked meal. Food arrived in a timely manner. We enjoyed Vietnamese coffee, a mango smoothie and Thai Iced Tea to start with our vegetable egg rolls and spring roll; these were delicious starters.

Our pho tai, Phố đặc biệt, and Bún bò huế came out soon after with fresh mung bean sprouts, basil and lime. Broths were delightful with noodles and meats. You get a generous amount of food from these bowls. A delightful find.“

“I will never eat here again I ordered their afternoon tea. A plain salad plate which consisted of greens two slices of cucumber and shredded carrots, a cup of soup and I wanted a scone. They were out of scones so I reluctantly agreed to a piece of cake. When I saw they charged me 29 I spoke to the manger explaning my complaint. She refused to acknowledge that the meal was overpriced for what I had. The waitress never stated there was an upcharge. Had I gotten a sandwich I would feel different but for what I got the price was waaay out of proportion. Never never never eating here again.“

“Just returned from having a wonderful lunch at Tailored Tea. My husband had a chicken potpie and I had a warm turkey, apple and spinach wrap. They were both delicious. Along with our lunch my husband had English breakfast tea and I had pomergranate, white tea, Berry etc. and they were both delicious too. The restaurant was a little noisey, but our lunch compensated for the noise. When you go to Tailored Tea plan on having a leisurely meal and spending at least an hour or more there.“

The bagels are incredible and my freezer is always fully stocked with their day old bagels that they sell bagged up in front of the store. Their cold brew is so smooth and delicious and I’m always a smitten kitten for anyone that won’t charge me extra for oat milk.

The garlic and herb cream cheese is the best I’ve had in my entire life. The service is always perfection and I swear they only hire absolute sweethearts. The vibes are always exactly what I need and if you’re lucky you’ll hear the staff singing along to their favorite songs and their positive energy is enough to make you want to apply here yourself.

This has become my cozy little hangout spot after dropping my daughter off at daycare and I’ll continue to give them all my money always.

Shoutout to the bearded employee with the dunder mifflin tshirt who was just the perfect amount of positive energy to start my morning today. Love love love this place. Parking is always available and super kid friendly too with high chairs, comfy booths, and outdoor seating if they get a little rowdy. All their treats are kid approved by my 2yr old“

I have tried several flavors, throughout the past month, but I especially enjoy their strawberry milk tea -- so flavorful, and little chunks of strawberry. Personally, I find that double tapioca better aligns the rate of boba consumption with the rate of tea consumption, so that they both run out at the same time. While the cost per drink is more than I paid at my previous favorite bubble tea store, the quality here is worth the small increase in price.“

“Whoever made my matcha this morning is amazing. I originally mobile ordered a large chai with vanilla. Drive thru as always was busy and I walk inside to pick up my mobile order and they quickly let me know they were out. I replaced it with a large matcha latte, they made sure to ask if I wanted vanilla still and my drink was out in record time. I still made my ride share pick up time with time to spare. “Well, know, it sounds strange, every Starbucks is different. I had been spending my reading time at the one in Guilderland however, they depersonalized it taking away any signs of individuality such as blackboards, the cute name that the previous manager had for the location, and it now is completely homogeneous. Today I came to this location, and although it has some personality with one blackboard things like the trivia question and the rotating joke reasons for the purpose of the tip jar are long gone. This location is also much larger, less cozy, and the furniture is not as comfortable. Wooden chairs with minimal padding. The beverages were good. The next stop will be the one further east on Western Avenue and see if that still retains some individuality in a smaller cozier branch.
