“I took my family here and it was good. The price is super affordable and the food is not bad. There are a couple new employees that do not speak English very well but some do. The atmosphere is just amazing from traditional Japanese sitting to normal tables. I will defiantly recommend this place.

“Went to Choo Choo Train with five friends. Ordered Miso Salmon entree and it was delicious. Salmon was grilled perfectly, broccoli and carrots were cooked well and still crunchy, and mashed sweet potatoes were yummy. Cannot say enough about food and attentive service. Will return...no doubt!“

The chicken teriyaki box is a great deal served fresh with fantastic flavor and came with so many delicious sides. I also tried a couple of sushi rolls and seems like you can't go wrong with any options. I haven't had fresh cuts of fish like that anywhere else! Definitely recommend!“

While they do not sell alcohol, they are BYOB and provided an ice bucket for our liquor. Standout dishes include the yellowtail ponzu, otoro sashimi pizza, and spicy seared salmon. Our waiter was attentive, and the chefs even sent out a few extra treats. The interior is elegant and well-kept, though you might feel a bit underdressed. Overall, the menu is pricey, but the quality justifies it. I'd happily return if someone else is footing the bill!“

“Seems like a great place for fresh sashimi and seafood lovers.

I have a shellfish issue myself but that didn’t stop us from trying their omakase selection for two.

For anyone else who may not be able to have shellfish, note that their cheese corn, spicy casserole, Japanese seafood pancake, the hand rolls, all have shrimp. They were able to remove shrimp only from the casserole but not the hand rolls. And of course there are many dishes with oysters/mussels.

They have their own lot with a decent amount of parking. Also looks like they have a few offerings for people who aren’t into seafood.“

“Got lunch with a friend and we got the Garden Vegetable Curry and Karaage Curry, both of which came with miso soup. Absolutely amazing flavors in both the curry and the miso soup!! They add additional spices and veggies to the miso soup so it's truly special. Chicken was fried to perfection, crunchy and juicy but not greasy. Interior is very small and a bit cramped, but warm and cozy. The staff were quick and efficient. Definitely want to go back!

Their Supreme Omakase costs $40 and it would cost $80 to get similar high quality fish like that anywhere in the city. My favorite sushi restaurant, it gets crowded at 5pm for dinner within 15 minutes of opening.“
