“My favorite place for Peking duck!“

“I should have reviewed this place years ago...given the fact that I have been coming here for over a decade when the place was a hole in the wall. This place has expanded and has stayed standing for a reason. Their sushi is ALWAYS fresh, their staff makes it a point to get to know you, and it's probably the best sushi I've had in all of NY....and I've had a lot. I will continue eating from here at least once a week (yes, I eat here at least once a week) until they decide to close their doors (which I hope is never)“

“I travelled 40 miles deep into Flushing Queens for the best Korean Fried Chicken! Comes with Spicy or Soy Garlic, Juicy Drumsticks or wings and with some tangy sour pickled radish or sweet creamy kimchi cole slaw. You are missing out if you have not tried this!!! You want some?! Usually I would get this when I worked the Financial District or Midtown Manhattan but this was the closest to home and they did not let me down!! “The reviews on Google are good, so we decided to give it a try. Starting from the Tom Yum Goong soup, to the crispy shrimp balls, to the crispy shell curry chicken, they all taste good. Their medium spicy is slightly spicy. The wait for the braised pork rice was a bit long. The braised pork is salty and suitable for rice. Because the pork tastes strong, a classmate and I don't like it very much. So I mixed the corn with the braised pork sauce and served it with curry chicken. The service in the store is relatively timely, and it can be seen that it is very experienced. You can tell from the menu. The store has a rich menu and has 8 tables. It is a cozy shop. We ate at noon on non-weekends, so we didn't have to wait for a table. The overall feeling is OK.“

“Came here for lunch because I’ve been craving some hotpot. I’m so glad I did. They have a wide selection of meats, seafood and veggies. I had the pork neck soup base which was rich and delicious. My favorite cut of meat so fat is the snowflake beef. It’s fatty, buttery and tender. The kimchi is amazing as well. Customer service is great. They leave you alone while still being attentive. And just in case they aren’t around, there’s a call bell. The seating is very private. They have booths that can close for even more privacy. The booths seat 6. Definitely recommend!“

Great food, quite spicy though. The yogurt is nice with the toppings. Milk tea is the salty kind, need to get used to the taste.“

“My boyfriend and I come here all the time. Although it's not big, it is very nice and clean with plenty of tables to dine in. The food is always great and fairly priced. The service is amazing. Everyone who works there is very kind. I truly recommend this place if you are in the area or an Adelphi student. As for rolls, the Adelphi roll, Redhead roll and 100A roll are delicious. Plenty of parking spots as well and the area is nice for a walk around.“

“The best Asian Bistro in town! I went for happy hour and the staff was so friendly. I had the soup dumplings and fresh sushi. Service was quick and easy. I highly recommend. “Great Uyghur food (similar to Uzbek/Georgian with a hint of Chinese thrown in). Highly recommend the laghman and pearl noodles (very chewy and flavorful). Lamb kebabs were perfect. Big plate chicken was spicy and tender, with more hand pull noodles dumped on top. Samsas were juicy and crispy. A great dish was the cumin mushrooms, highly recommend. Shout out to being open on Thanksgiving.“

“Long time standing Korean style Chinese food. Portions are huge to ensure every one will be so filled. The slice beef pieces are always humongous as well . This is a place to eat casual , not for its presentations . Food were always served super speedy.

“Double Malatang is truly an uncut gem in terms of location food and service. I have gone around five times now and really enjoy the food. I love the spice level and it is very appropriate given the levels provided. I had the malatang about 4 times and the dry hot pot once. The beauty in this place is the ability to truly pick what you'd like to eat and cater it to your liking. It is pretty self explanatory : You pick things you like, they cook it and you eat. Tons of asian classics from mungbean to wood ear mushroom to fuzhonesee fish balls and many many more. The drink options include your traditional fare of Sodas alongside some other hidden treats (HK style iced tea) and many more. The service is absolutely amazing. The staff even with a language barrier are very nice and helpful and always offer a smile. I have gone 5 times and have not left disappointed once. If you read this review, let's support small businesses in our towns. Finally, the best part : the food. I really enjoyed the food it was the perfect level of acidity to spice to mouth-numbing sensation. My only advice for anyone eating is to eat with your brain and not your eyes or else you'll overorder. IMO : This place is a solid 5/5. I really recommend you try this. If you're scared or intimidated don't be! the first step to a great meal : is to venture out into something new.

“I visit a lot of Korean restaurants, and I'm a fan of stews and cold noodles, and they're good at budae-jjigae. It was the closest to the taste I had in Korea. The interior was clean and had the feel of a cozy cafe. Good luck to you, owner. I'll come back again.“

“I ordered the wings with soy garlic and Korean bbq sauce. Both were delicious and very good. The garlic Parmesan fries actually has powdered sugar on top. I called to make sure it wasn’t someone in the kitchen messing up the seasoning. Turned out sugar is added on the fries so it’s salty and sweet. It’s not what I was expecting so not really my thing. I would order the plain French fries next time. The fries were very crunchy, just wished it wasn’t sweet.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“The food is here is by far one of the more reliable places to get Asian Cuisine. The food is not overly fried or heavily seasoned. We come here occasionally after the dog park visit, and we have yet to be disappointed. The wonton soup is a must have, better than anywhere else I have tried. The prices are also very good. Normally I have something criticizing to say but I genuinely appreciate this place for a cheat night. You won’t feel guilty with the fun of take out. The place is small and there isn’t anywhere to eat if you wanted. “Great tasting food at a great price. This was one of my stops at the huge food court and man, what a value. I ordered a chicken teriyaki from here and I was very happy. The food was made quick and had a very rich taste. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The price was about $9 but it was a mountain of food. The staff was nice and the food court seating was clean.

The spicy level is fairly low--doesn't really affect flavor but adds a light kick when you drink a spoon of broth. Management offered to make it more spicy if it wasn't enough which was appreciated. It does have a slight additive effect though so I opted not to. They're not giving you a ton of bean sprouts but the bean sprouts you are getting are washed and look to be of good quality. I feel like this applies to the bowl overall--fairly good quality but not overwhelming. I left satisfied but not full.“

I originally was craving some type of Korean wings I thought this place would have that but they really don't because I ended up getting a spam crispy roll thing it's like sushi only with Spam sounds gross but it's actually really good. Decor cosmopolitan, they spent a lot of money on the chairs but now the faux leather vinyl is sagging, peeling and it’s hard to find a comfortable seat.
