“The upcharge of ordering pasta instead of rice as a side results in some sticker shock once it’s time to pay, at which point you feel pressured to just pay it since they’ve already made the plate. Definitely pricier than an average Jamaican takeout spot, and I would’ve liked more transparent pricing upfront, but the food itself was good.“

“I picked up food here for the first time and Auntie was so incredibly welcoming. She was happy to let me sample a handful of the dishes they were serving, all of which were delicious.

The oxtail here is just phenomenal. The depth of flavor of the gravy was such a standout. My rice and peas were covered in it and I wish I had more!

The jerk chicken was incredibly tender and the sweet and spicy sauces were a great compliment.

The fresh pine ginger drink is a must have and the homemade coco bread was pillowy soft.

The chef is an absolute pro here when it comes to salinity. The seasoning was spot on for every entree without any lingering saltiness.“

“I arrived to the location recommended by a friend who’s considering this location as a b day rendezvous in the near future.

Parking: there’s parking available in a well lit parking lot directly behind the building. There are lights along the entire plaza outside. No major trash or debris. A small spot which still made us feel safe. There’s an entrance / exit there’s well as the front door. There’s parking directly on the main road. We saw a few spots available in the side streets which was a plus.

Business at 8 pm was busy and rustling. A few seats became available at the bar as the crowd rotated. We were promptly greeted by the bartender. We also made eye contact with a wait staff who also went behind the bar POS. The music was at a moderate volume featuring classic reggae sounds throughout the spot. The bar has about 12 seats. There’s are four tv displaying weekly pronouns and local sports. We ordered wings and fries. Both were bright crisp and hot. An indication that grease is rotated fresh. The panko batter for the wings was tasty.

The restroom is located at the back by the entrance. I did not have an opportunity to check this out. The dining room is bright white and modern. There’s a projector and a tv screen in the area. We are observed the climate control is fair with hot food in hot chafing dishes. There are windows which let light in at sunset.

We discussed future dinner plans with owner Jeff. He provided menu options for large parties. He has digital displays of food and menu plans which was impressive.

“Always passed this place when heading to my grandparents. Decided to walk in after visiting them, finally try the food.

For context I am a woman whose life goal is to try food from every country around the world.

I bought the Saltfish, Roti, Ginger Beer, and Oxtail to start out.

This food is so well cooked it’s heavenly. The seasoning is perfect. The oxtail meal is so tender it melts in your mouth. Dipping the Roti into the Oxtail juices? Even better.

I plan on coming back soon to try even more. I have my eyes set on the Goat’s Head and Cow Foot soup. The shop is small and quaint, workers are kind. Only downside is there isn’t much seating inside: so your best bet is to order and bring it home.“

“Came in today for a jerk salad and a side of Mac and cheese . The server innocently rang it up as pasta but they corrected the error with no problem and were very nice about it . Let me say , the jerk salad was DELICIOUS. Definitely worth the money , the chicken was a little spicy , super flavorful and juicy . The mango’s and cucumbers in the salad were fresh. The side of Mac and cheese was the best I have had at any Caribbean restaurant in the entire area and I’ve lived here for over 20 years. Definitely a great experience and I will be coming back for more !!!“

“This Jamaican spot never misses! I’ve been coming here more often lately, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and happy to make recommendations or let you try something new if you’re unsure what to order.

The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are honestly hard to beat these days. You get great quality food without feeling like you’re being overcharged. They even have homemade ice cream, which is such a nice bonus!

What really keeps me coming back is the combination of great food, excellent service, and the warm, family-like atmosphere. If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican food with generous portions and friendly people, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. I’ll definitely be back!

“I got delivery through GrubHub and it was really good. I chose mild for my wife's sake, but the flavor still was NOT lacking. The curry goat was deliciously strong in both curry and goat. The roti was one of the best I've had. The oxtail was exactly what I hoped for. Even the rice and peas impressed me. This was the best Caribbean meal I've had in a long time“

“Doordash orders are ready in 10-15mins after order acknowledged at resterant Delicious food. Not under or over season. Taste like back home !!! Coco bread , nice and soft. Stew chicken is just that, really tasty n nice , chicken drop off the bone and the curry goat, yummyyy. I order them with roti. Great portions. They do not , do not, give half portions. 1 order will feed 2 adult easy
