“Shah's halal is the best around. Great taste for a great price. I always go for the combo platter. The amount of land kebab and the chicken is great. The meat is so juicy and tender and with the perfectly seasoned rice, each bite is pure indulgence. My formula is always less white sauce, maximum red sauce and 1 line of green sauce.“
“Okay... so I've been trying to find the best afghan food and it's been a struggle. I also don't have much to compare it to but at the same time I know what good food is and let me tell you.... THIS IS IT. It's cool because it's casual vibes. They give everything to you in a to go box so that's interesting, although they have seating for you. I got the beef bargh, chicken tikka and the lamb chops with my party. And omg the only thing they are missing are mantoos! But I am willing to drive from Astoria for this place so that says it all. It was SO SO good. I took my leftovers home and immediately devoured it and followed my meal with a food coma. Certainly want to gate keep this place but they deserve the recognition.“
“Tried this restaurant because it was close to the hotel we were staying at. Had the dumplings for an appetizer with the complementary bread and sauces. All were incredible, full of flavor. The lamb kabob was also delicious. The chicken kabob would've been better if it came with a sauce, but the flavor was still nice. Services was fast and friendly. Would dine here again.“
“Just tried this place out tonight. Ordered a mix shawarma, a chicken shawarma and falafel. I didn't expect much from this place, since it was dead and was 1 lady working in the whole place. I was so surprised, the food was so fresh and the shawarma was burrito size. The taste was really good, I only wish I ask for some hot sauce on the side. The falafel was very crispy. Falafel to me are usually dry as he'll, but they give you a super thick white sauce (like cream cheese consistency). Which made the falafel tasted very moist. I didn't take any pics of the food, because I wasn't expecting much. Going back tomorrow to try the chicken biryani, since they only sell that on sat & sun.“
“I've been really wanting to check out this place, and it did not disappoint. I opted for the Chicken Kebab, which included grilled chicken chunks and seasoned chicken breast on skewers, served with rice and a side salad with a tasty dressing. The service was excellent too. I'd totally suggest giving this place a try.“
“I honestly love a good chicken over rice platter and usually have to drive all the way to Hicksville which is pretty inconvenient. This spot is less than 10 minutes away from where I attend school so I had to try it out and I’m so glad I did! I stuck to the classic chicken over rice platter. It tasted fresh and the service was great too— nice people and I got my food in a matter of minutes! This place definitely just became my go to spot for gyro!“
“Oh boy the food was great specially with the white sauce, I ordered chicken over rice and ohhh god the taste, the seasoning and sauce created a great texture .. be careful with hot sauce though it’s really spicy … and Edison the manager is really a nice guy he offered us free desert. “

Food: we ordered the Gyro family pack which consisted of: Pork Donner: chunks of savory roasted pork. 4/5 Chicken Gyro - I wasn't a fan of this as it felt like eating a roasted slices of processed cold cuts instead of slices of chicken. 3/5 Lemon potatoes - lemony starch to complement the protein. 4/5“
