“I actually found this spot in a pretty random but reliable way — I was watching Louis from Robke’s in Northport and he was sharing some of his favorite local restaurants. This Chinese place happened to be the closest one to my house from his list, so I figured it was worth trying.

I’m born and raised in East Northport, so I’ve tried pretty much every Chinese spot in the surrounding areas trying to find a go-to… and this one is easily my favorite now.

First off, the prices are shockingly fair. I checked the menu before going and that alone made me want to try it — it’s probably the most reasonably priced Chinese food I’ve seen around here. And it actually lives up to it. You can get a lunch special for under $8, or something like a quart of chicken and broccoli for around $12 and change, which is just rare to find now.

But the biggest thing is the quality. The chicken is actually good quality — not rubbery, not overly breaded, and not drowning in sauce. Everything tastes fresh, not soggy. The fried rice is genuinely some of the best I’ve had.

Also, every time I go, I order in person and the food is ready so quickly, which I love. And the staff are always really kind and welcoming — it just makes the whole experience better.

Overall, this place completely surprised me and has easily become my go-to for Chinese food.“

“I love this place and the fact that they deliver. There is one other place we love but they don't deliver and now that I tried Yhum Yhum,. honestly, there's no turning back. We ordered for the first time like 2 weeks ago and since our kitchen is being remodeled and we cant use it have ordered like 3 times already lol. “Ran over real quick on my lunch break. It was a rainy day and I was looking for comfort food. I definitely found it. I ordered boneless spare ribs and egg drop soup. It was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. The young man at the counter noticed me immediately and I asked him if they had smart pay, which of course they do. The food was delicious! I was skeptical at first because I haven't been there or tried their menu before. It was exactly what I was looking for on that rainy day. Great flavor and great portions as well. - Stir-Fried Udon: Good wok char on thick noodles that stayed bouncy.
- Chicken with Broccoli: Tender chicken and crisp broccoli in a clean, savory garlic glaze.
- Sesame Chicken: Sweet, crunchy, and vanished quickly with our crowd.
- Yeoungchow Fried Rice: Fluffy and light, acting as a great base for the spicy mains.

“I can not say enough positive things about this place. The girl was so friendly and helpful. I originally went to pickup a togoodtogo order and ended up placing a second order because everything just looked so good. Everything I got in the togoodtogo order was amazing and it was a nice variety it had a bag of goldfish as an extra treat which my kids enjoyed. There was even a handwritten note thanking me for my order which was so sweet and I felt appreciated. The bubble teas were fresh and flavorful and a great value for the price. “This is by far the best Chinese place I’ve been to in years! I drive 30 minutes to get here because the food is so good. My kids agree. Everything is freshly prepared and the portions are huge. “Clean restaurant and the food tastes cleaner and healthier than other Chinese restaurants. Had general Tsao’s chicken, beef lomaine, egg drop soup, and scallion pancakes. All was delicious and generous portions, reasonably priced. Only wish they’re hot and sour soup was vegetarian (it has pork).“

I have been getting delivery 2 -3 times a week since Jan 5th 2026 due to being at Woodbury Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation.

The lunch special prices are very affordable and large portions. I always also order the fried chicken and Singapore noodles every time with my lunch special. I save it for the next for breakfast. Lol.

The front desk lady Vivian at the Woodbury Heights Nursing told me about the place and I have been ordering ever since.

Last Saturday I ordered my regular Lunch special Pork ribs w/ pork fired rice. Paid extra $1.50 for eggs and veggies in my fries rice this also comes with egg roll. I also always order fried chicken wings and Singapore noodles.

I placed an order at 11:47am then right before lunch special was over 2:56pm I placed the same order again.

It was and every time has been that delicious. Crispy fried chicken. Meaty, plump and juicy pork ribs. Flavorful pork fried rice with actual lots of pork in it. Singapore noodles with loads of chicken, pork and shrimp.

Every dish is full to the top. Delivered fast and HOT. That's why I always tips 20%.

I'm in a wheelchair and I feel the heat on my lap. Can't wait to dig in.

“Vegetarian chicken menu items...I don't know of any other Chinese restaurant in the immediate area that offers this! I usually have to settle for tofu and veggies. The owners are really friendly too. Ni hao!

Update: new owners are choosing frozen items instead of what seemed like freshly cooked (i.e. dumplings, scallion pancakes) and cooked in much more oil. The quality of some menu items has gone down.“

“A friend recommended this place to me, so I decided to give it a try. It’s a small takeout spot and a little easy to miss from the road, but the Szechuan food is really authentic and tasty.

I ordered the mapo tofu and dan dan noodles, and both were excellent. The mapo tofu was flavorful and spicy with that nice numbing kick from the Szechuan peppercorns, and the tofu was really soft and soaked up the sauce well. The dan dan noodles were also really good—chewy, spicy, and full of flavor.

I ordered online for pickup and everything was ready right on time. I was able to park along the road, grab my food, and leave pretty quickly. Super convenient and definitely worth trying if you like authentic Szechuan food.“

“When I visit from out of town this is my go to place for Chinese Food that needs to be gluten free because I cannot afford to get sick being a celiac. I do not have to worry about cross contamination issues in their kitchen or getting sick. I am truly grateful for this place since it's one of the very few places I can eat at safely. “Easily the best in Farmingdale! My wife and I have been coming here for years, tried almost everything on the menu, it's all delicious! Our order is always ready fast, and always correct. When we want a quick and easy weeknight dinner, or we're ordering for a big group, we call here! Our go-to's are the Thai style chicken with green beans and the chicken in garlic sauce, but the classics like General Tso's and spare ribs are amazing here too.“
