“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“We stumbled upon Olar Noso and were very happy we did. The food selection was very diverse, offering a nice mix of Spanish tapas and Italian delicacy. They also offer a better than average wine selection, at reasonable (restaurant) prices. The salmon tartare stole the show, but the Gorgonzola stuffed dates, garlic shrimp, and meatball tapas dishes were amazing supporting roles to an overall great meal. Their homemade potato chips made for great table pickins as well. We'll definitely be back to try some of their meat entrees (someone near us had the skirt steak and that ranks top on the list). Well done Olar Noso (but I'll take my skirt steak medium rare when I return;)“

“This is a classic Italian restaurant. Years ago in NYC there were many small restaurants on side streets that had excellent food. Very few of those survive. But Aperiti is heir to that tradition. We just came back from three weeks in Italy and Aperiti is as good as any of the restaurants that we experienced in Rome. Maybe even better.“

“Great food. The Plain Tart yogurt is second to none. You can't find that kind of quality tart yogurt anywhere else. I literally came from work in the Bronx straight to Mamaroneck to pick up a Quart of the Plain Tart. They make it in-house, and its consistently a top quality product. I would highly recommend Esy Kafe.“

“Ibiza Kitchen had some of the best food I’ve eaten in a long time. The dishes were creative, flavorful, and absolutely delicious—truly a standout culinary experience.

That said, the service left something to be desired. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water, but had to repeatedly remind the bussers not to top off our glass with tap water. We also requested one dish with the crème on the side, which was overlooked—though, they replaced it. The bathroom setup and the back area of the restaurant felt a bit odd and out of place.

On a positive note, the owner and chef were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating when it came to food allergies—unfortunately, the rest of the staff didn’t seem as well-informed.

Bottom line: The food was so amazing that I’d absolutely go back, even if it means dealing with a few service hiccups.“

“1st time here. Had the wings (old bay), ribs, brisket sandwich. All were amazing. Arabela was an amazing bartender and took on the whole bar by herself. Kudos girl!!! Stop the free money so new establishments can staff!! Patience was needed but worth it!“

“I went into the Fantastic Foods store in Norwood, NJ for the first time and was amazed at the international food sections, as well as the cooking classes they offer. The owner proudly introduced me to the products. Before I left, as I was at the register paying for the things that I had purchased, the owner asked me if I’d like to try the pecan pie. She noticed that I was cooking tempting it. It looked so incredible I wondered if it tasted as good as it looked. When I tried a piece, I was astounded at how delicious it was! I’ve never tasted anything quite like it! I’ve never had pecan pie, but this must’ve been a cut above the rest. The cinnamon flavor was divine, and I immediately ordered a piece for myself to go. When I got into my car, I couldn’t wait! I immediately devoured my delicious pecan pie. My father used to say it was his favorite but I bet he never had anything this good!! I wish he was around so I could share it with him but it made me happy to know that I now can share his joy! I immediately texted my friends to tell them about my experience! The owner tells me that they also serve crêpes. I can’t imagine how amazing they must be. I Highly recommend Fantastic Foods to anyone who is selective in their culinary taste and looks for international foods. “Husband and I finally dined here a little over a week ago for an early birthday dinner for me and the entire experience was nothing short of sublime. Although I was tempted by the views from the window-side tables, I wanted the Kitchen Table experience, and it was an excellent choice. We drove down from Dutchess County (fyi, whoever designed the Taconic Parkway should be fired, but I digress). The complimentary valet parking made our arrival easy. We were directed to the elevator and from the moment we got off on the floor of the restaurant, we were greeted immediately, and the entire staff was incredibly attentive, polite, and welcoming. The main dining areas are nicely decorated and subtly sophisticated. The chef’s table experience was phenomenal. We got very personal attention from the chef and staff members, and enjoyed watching (and inhaling the aromas from) both the main kitchen and pastry side during our meal. The service was excellent and attentive without being overbearing. Water and wine were poured promptly, the pacing of the courses was perfect, and the explanation for the dishes and wine were appreciated. We decided to get the wine pairing, and the pours were both generous and excellently paired with the courses. It was a lot of wine so by the 4th or 5th glass, I was really feeling it and enjoying myself, to say the least. The food was outstanding across the board. I love seafood so I was quite happy with the 7 fish offerings. We started out with 3 different breads, all different and all delicious, and I’m pretty sure I ate the roasted yeast butter on its own, and then uni and yellowtail, which are 2 of my favorites. It feels kind of dismissive to say “all of the courses were delicious,” but they really were. The black cod, iberico pork shoulder with fava been puree, and the prime dry aged rib eye were probably my favorite courses. I wish I had more room since the chef offered us additional rib eye, but I was pretty much at capacity and we still had dessert. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The iberico pork dish was crispy, salty, full of umami flavor, and it paired perfectly with the grassy, herbaceous, and silky fava bean puree. There was only one course that I wasn’t as enthusiastic about, the bacalhau a bras carmelle. Each course was so good that I couldn’t wait to see if the next would top it. Each course was a few bites, leading up to the larger beef at the end. Of the 3 dessert courses, the first 2 were my favorite. The first was “pear” which was a contrast of textures and temperatures. It was really outstanding and the cold bits in the dessert were a nice, light contrast to the heavy meal we had just finished. The next was a tart/cold dessert with sweet potato shavings and biscuit-like crackers (my dearest apologies to the pastry chef, I cannot describe it any better). It was all so different and worked well together. Again, the contrast in textures/temperature/flavors worked so well together. By the last dessert course, I was fairly stuffed and couldn’t finish. Again, there was a savory component (lettuce) that was (and I’m guessing here) caramelized so it was sweet and I ate both pieces. There was a custard as well and the crust was so flaky, and I was sorry that I couldn’t eat more of it. 3 ½ hours later, we waddled out quite satisfied and happy. Next time, we’d skip the wine pairing because it was simply too much but I can’t wait to visit here again and try new dishes. I don’t think I can accurately convey how delicious our food was or what a great time we had.“

“My husband and I decided to dine at Hash O Nash last week. Let me tell you, they have the best Hummus. It's smooth and creamy. The food is delicious and inexpensive. The server, is incredibly polite, patience and if you are not familiar with a certain dish, he will describe. Of course, my husband and I had to go back. This time I tried the Chicken Cigar. Sooooo good, I had another order. By the way, the serving can feed two. Hope you enjoy as much as we did. 💯“

“We were able to snag a table for two at the last minute with the help of a very accommodating hostess. We spent 10 minutes waiting at the bar, where the bartender was quick, efficient and friendly. Our table was a cozy (not cramped) corner booth for two and the seating was very comfy. Laraine was our sever and she was great. Attentive without intruding. Quick without being frantic. Excellent excellent service. The food was delicious and served hot. There is nothing that we would change about our visit except we should have tried this restaurant sooner!“

“ordered shepherds salad on a Saturday night to go. Got home see pictures. First off, personally I don't like olives with pits in a salad. I hate taking a bite and having to deal with pits.
2nd so little feta..On a salad this size should be double the amount. Lastly, no utensils. Doesn't make a difference if it was to go. Utensils should always accompany a meal. I could have wemt to the beach.

Either way, salad tasted good, service was good. Will probably be back, will ask for extra cheese abd utensils“

“We have dining at Lusiadas for a couple of decades or so. As I understand it, it changed ownership not long ago. Last Sunday we had Ameijoas Bulhão Pato: best ever here and in Portugal. Its Bacalhau a Lagareiro (take-away) was superb. Very good value wines (Guarda Rios) and with Portuguese background music: Casa da Mariquinhas, among other classics.“

“Food was very good service was pretty good we got our food pretty fast except the host/waiter never cracked a smile. Very dry person. Kind of rude at times but it is what it is. Mexican guy with long hair. Wasn’t really kind to the kids either. I had the chart octopus and grilled shrimp and a Greek salad. Everything was good. Except the host/waiter.

Parking: There is a parking lot but it’s small maybe 10 to 15 spots“
