“I have been going to this place for years and I've never had an issue with the food, pricing or service. The bagels are delicious: large, crusty, but with a nice chew and taste. (and this is coming from a bagel-snob). The people behind the counter are always very nice and organized even when it's busy.

I also like the locals/regulars who always eat here; they are very colorful and interesting to listen to. This is one of the few places remaining where you can sit down and get a nice bacon, egg, potato platter without having to wait for a table or endure slow table service or ridiculous prices. The home fries with ketchup are an acquired taste but I've grown to love them. FYI-The grill is on a little too high; sometimes eggs are cooked right but over on the outside.“

“Let me tell you something about the man that owns this business. I used to be really strung out on drugs living behind the gas station right across the street. Most of the time I never had money for a meal but this guy would still always feed me. Sometimes it was the ONLY thing I had to eat for days. When I did have money, he wouldn't let me pay because he knew how rough of shape I was in. Fast forward a year later, I have a year clean and went in to buy the breakfast he used to make me. When I tried to pay with my card, his machine didn't accept AMEX and without a second thought he STILL just gave it to me. When you talk about community and delis on Long Island, this place is and will always be at the top of the charts. God bless this man and his family. AMAZING FOOD. AMAZING SERVICE. “Everything Bagel in Commack is a fantastic spot for fresh, delicious bagels! The bagels are always perfectly baked—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. But the real standout for me is their lox. It's some of the best I've ever had—fresh, cut thin, and just melts in your mouth.
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that the service can be a bit slow during busy times, but it’s well worth the wait for the quality you get. Definitely a go-to spot for bagel and lox lovers!“

Every time I go to Dunkin up the road because it's across from my office, I'm disappointed and delayed. Yesterday at Dunkin, it took 20 minutes for me to get a PREMADE chorizo and egg wrap, that was still ice cold in the center. I will GLADLY take the slight detour to NY Bagel, as it's worth it.“

If you cannot find it, go right past the Walgreens if you are heading north on Terry and turn where it says massage envy because it is easy to miss. If you hit Maureen's, you went too far north. A whole in the wall, mom and pop, old school shop, with a lack luster sign, in a tiny parking lot, makes this place easy to miss, but don’t miss it!! After living on the Queens border for many years, I was shocked after moving to East Northport that many bagel shops in town don’t really make bagels. They make donut shaped bread. And most locals are so accustomed to eating this donut shaped bread, that they actually have no idea what a real bagel should taste and feel like. It’s strange. Or maybe locals settle for a less-than delicious bagel, so they can sit in a trendier setting, which I also find weird. But, I digress.
The point of all of that is to say that at Stuff-A-Bagel, you will get the closest thing to an authentic city bagel that I have found anywhere in this general area. Yes, I have tried every bagel shop in East Northport, Northport, Greenlawn and Commack. And none of the ones locals brag about even compare to this one.
When you visit Stuff-A-Bagel, your bagel will be perfectly cooked, slightly toated and “al dente” on the outside, while nice and doughy on the inside. It will have that “pop” that a bagel should. (If you know, you know.) Their bagels are delicious and addicting! Also, their cream cheese tastes homemade, as every bagel store’s should be. If you’re not making your own cream cheese, are you even a bagel store? (Tangent again, sorry.)
Also, the owners here are such lovely people. They are warm and welcoming. They value getting to know their customers, which is a rare thing nowadays. Their prices are fair, and they’ve thrown in a few freebies a couple of times, when my order was larger. And, they keep the line moving. You never have to wait long for your order. I cannot say enough about how wonderful their customer service is. Warning to those who do not like kindness and socialization: (as a previous reviewer stated) you may feel an unfamiliar feeling to interact with your fellow man. But it’s okay. You can do it.
Stuff-A-Bagel is delicious! Next time you’re on Larkfield, driving by, stop in and see for yourself. Better yet, next Saturday, grab your weekly dozen from there! When it comes to bagels, THIS is a place that people should be talking about!!!“

“I catered a brunch this weekend with Bagel Buzz. This was my second catering order with them. I spoke with Gina over the phone to place my order and alerted her to the many food allergies in my party. I trust Bagel Buzz with making sure no cross contamination takes place in making my order.
