“Great spot, total hidden gem. I come in here time to time and their gelato is fantastic. My two favorites are the pistachio and rainbow cookie gelato ?.. they also have a nice selection of pastries / cakes. If you have a sweet tooth the cannoli creme filled lobster tails were amazing as was the rainbow cookie cheese cake! Last but not least they have a wide range of offerings as far as coffee & espresso!“

“Very tasty ices, fun flavours, definitely NOT naturally flavoured, however, these ices were WAY better tasting than big chain places . The LICORICE flavour was AWESOME with tiny bits of black licorice in it. The building facade has a fun energy to it; the garbage can looks like a massive ice cream cone.“

“I ordered a custom cake for my brothers 16th birthday and it was amazing ! The woman who helped me was so friendly , and honest. When I told her I wanted black icing, she advised that black is difficult because it needs a bunch of different food coloring and doesn't taste good, so we ended up going with red. She really took her time to make sure we were on the same page and had everything correct. I was worried the picture would look tacky or blurry because its printed but it looked like it was drawn right on the cake. Definitely recommend this service !“

“If there was an option for ten stars, I'd rate this place ten stars across the board! EVERY time I go to this location in Bay Shore, I'm so impressed on how spotless the whole place is. The one lady & man (he's usually in the back unless a few customers come in) that are always there are so nice. The lady is constantly cleaning up after herself after everything she makes. You can see that they work hard & appreciate the business. They give excellent customer service & I HIGHLY recommend this Carvel!

“I did a take out order at the East Islip location. The food was good but the super melts do not seem to have much meat on them like they use to. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

“I absolutely love swirls and twirls. I come here every week and their prices are so reasonable. So many flavors and toppings to choose from. My favorite part is how clean everything thing is and how lovely the staff is. I would definitely recommend!“

“This is probably my top 2 favorite ice cream place (my other fave is sugar hill creamery). SO MANY FLAVORS!! Amazing sundaes, the staff has always been incredibly kind, they literally warm up a brownie to crumble on the Sunday without asking (not a great example but you get the point), I absolutely love it here.

The ice cream Is good but they Charge me way way more the The Udall rd west islip or The Howells rd one and they are so stingy it's Kind of sad because I try to support omw there now but quantity needs to change. “Everyone who grows up on Long Island knows that Ralph's Ices is a staple. All of the locations are excellent, but this one right here takes it to the next level. Recently renovated, super clean and very efficient.

The staff goes above and beyond offering a seemingly endless array of tastings and flavors (Kudos to Maddy for being the best). The drive-thru is so convenient, they offer ice cream & soft serve as well, and they even have a candy bar! Cannot recommend enough.“

“I stopped in for ice cream, and my card kept getting declined, despite there being plenty of money on it. I kept asking the girls to scan the card at the top of the POS machine, and they kept telling me they cannot scan the card until the card was entered into the machine three times. I have never encountered this before.I really think there is a mistake, because the scan option was implemented to protect consumers from having to enter or swipe their cards at a POS machine. I never scan my card at retail establishments anymore; I always scan my card at the top of the machine, and my payment is always accepted. I am never told I need to enter my card three times before scanning.It ends up some lovely woman paid for my ice cream anyway, which I am highly appreciative of.“

The service was excellent.
It definitely does need more seating and to hide or clean up the garbage area behind the building.

“A very charming shop. In town for work and decided to go for a treat. Banana cream ice and peanut butter and jelly ice were the best I’ve had. I’m a stickler with banana flavored items and it is most definitely made with fresh bananas without any artificial flavors or colors. The owner was very pleasant and answered all of our questions. “Love this Yogomania! All the teens/young adults working here are super nice, always respectful and helpful! My daughters and i stop by during the week so we are familiar with a few faces. I see another review bashing them for being young but I can’t relate. I’ve actually walked in on grown adults screaming at them for stupid little things like not enough bananas in a bowl or another time because an customer expected them to read his mind and give him a specific container.
