“Excellent. Fun times going for ice cream. My great nieces and nephews want to come to Fire Island just to go to Scoops.. One of the little ones was living in Singapore for 2 years... and she made me FaceTime the selection one summer so when she came home she’d know what the options were. The staff is so friendly and efficient. I don’t think it’s fair for someone to give 1 star because they have a stomach ache. It’s a .high quality ice cream.“

“This place is a little pricy but most Fire Island places are. The ice cream was really good and the scoop size was very generous. I got the cotton candy flavor and there were little chocolate chips in it which was a nice surprise. It's cash only though so make sure you have some with you.“

“When it comes to eating, this place has that Sonic Drive-In/Friendly's vibe; the food (burgers, fries, chicken, etc.) may not be something to write home about (much of it is "alright" at best) but the desserts (ice cream, shakes, malts, floats, etc.) is where the menu truly shines! Each ice cream concoction (including one of my faves, Rocky Road) is stuffed to the brim with mix-ins and the shakes are just the right kind of thickness.The girls who served my friends and I were very friendly with warm smiles and polite suggestions to get the most out of our eating experience. They even let me sample a flavor of their ice cream (after which I knew I was getting dessert with my meal!) so I knew what I was in for.The ambiance has that charming Pizza Planet vibe to it (If you've seen the movie "Toy Story" you get it!) filled with outer space decor and space-themed names for the menu items making it very family-friendly. If it had an arcade (or at least just a few cabinets), that would be pretty cool! (I'm not knocking points off for that one btw!)The place is definitely a good place for quality desserts and customer experience. As for lunch or dinner, it's good but I'm pretty sure your local diner may satisfy you a bit more. Overall, I highly recommend anyone to give Cosmos a visit!Kid-friendliness: The outer-space decor screams kid-friendliness and so does the customer service of the employees.“

“When you go inside it is just like any other carvel. The ice cream and flavors are the same as any other carvel we have been in, so many options! But the difference is the people behind the counter are always really nice and helpful. I always have a good customer service experience every time I come. Also, they are clean.“

“i normally don't leave reviews but they were so so sweet, fantastic customer service and the man who decorated the cake was very efficient and did a beautiful job. unfortunately i wasn't carrying cash on me to leave a tip, they don't take tips on card just a heads up!! so i went back to my car and grabbed whatever i had & went back in. like seriously lovely people thanks guys didn't catch ur names“

“The town of islip is your typical Main Street. The best part is the very popular homemade ice cream shop. You name the flavor- they have it. Even mini ice cream Sunday’s. Seating was limited, the staff was friendly and the ice cream delish. ?“

“Always a nice time when I go with the family. So many options and the customer service is awesome. Only wish they would clean up the tables outside. They are old and rusty. And preferably get some that can withstand the elements. Sometimes prefer to go to the ronkonkoma location just to be able to sit down and enjoy without needing to rush back home because the the outdoor seating isn’t really clean.“

“Awesome yogurt and toppings! I came here almost every night when I was younger, and I still want to come here. I was here last in June, and ate their yogurt that tasted very delicious. However, I think they should renovate the eatery, it’s a little dirty and old, but overall it’s very nice!“

“acai bowls are great! however, I’ve tried their bubble tea multiple times and not a fan- too watery. staff is always nice and polite! looking forward to trying other things on the menu.edit: bumped up to 5 stars bc I’ve tried various things here and loved it besides the bubble tea. “The best thing about this place is the employees, they are always very friendly and kind. The ice cream is okay. Nice selection of toppings. Sometime there is an overwhelming chemical smell in the shop. It smells like bug spray but the shop itself seems clean so maybe it's cleaning product. I have a hypersensitive sense of smell so it could just be me, but it makes me apprehensive.“

“The staff seemed reluctant to understand who was paying and was surprised that I wanted to make an order for myself as well... Just very cold personalities like robots. Not friendly or inviting, more like they did not like us or looked at us like second rate citizens.There is no need to profile or judge anyone because of the way they dress or by what they drive. “They are closed during winter, makes sense. But, food is decent for a nice cold treat. But, wish ley had more dining tables outside!Dietary restrictions: Def don't recommend if you're lactose intolerant or can't have milk, dairy.Parking: Behind or right out front!Kid-friendliness: Kids LOVE IT, especially the ages of 11-18 and 6-9.“

“This carvel has been a staple of my existence since my childhood. It reminds me of getting ice cream with my grandma, riding bikes with friends and stopping for a scoop as a treat and just a lot of good memories.That being said it's not perfect, it's not the prettiest carvel and depending on whose working you could either get service with a smile or reluctance.Besides the service and the parking lot being worse than some of my nightmares, it's a carvel and if you want great soft serve you already know this is the spot.“

“Great froyo flavor selections. I went with the lf vanilla and strawberry. Was very impressed with the creaminess of the froyo, very tasty despite being low fat. Owner was very cool, helped my wife sample some ice cream flavors and was helpful with topping selections. Will definitely be going back. Prices are a bit higher than other froyo places I’ve visited, but I don’t mind paying if it’s worth it. Definitely worth coming here and spending a bit more.“
