Vegetarian options: There weren't a lot of options for veggie eaters, but that could be because of the menu selected. That what I could eat was good.“

“Oh my gosh, so we went out to dinner this evening after going to the movies. We went to Winfield Pub in South Buffalo. All I can say is WOW. My husband saw that it had a 4.7 star rating and we'd never been there. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. They have several different beers to offer and even some seasonal ones. Their drink menu is extensive but not daunting and their drinks are super creative. For our starters we got the hop fries with a garlic parmesan aioli which regulars call "crack sauce" I can see why....it's SO good! My husband got the Snout and Stout which is their take on french onion soup but with a pork broth and milk stout added to it with pieces of pork in it. We both tried it and that too was truly delicious it was a great spin on a classic dish. For our entrees my husband got the ribeye and I got the bbq mac and cheese. My husband loved his ribeye it was cooked perfectly and the sides were amazing. My mac and cheese was probably one of the best mac and cheeses I've ever had. They added burnt pork ends and blue cheese to it and it adds such a depth of flavor and richness this comfort food feels so fancy. I enjoyed it thoroughly. For dessert we shared a piece of their Guinness cake. Again, it was rich and delicious the frosting wasn't overly sweet. We brought a little bit of everything home and are looking forward to eating the rest of it tomorrow. Our server was absolutely lovely and so kind and funny. The chef at this restaurant is so creative and thoughtful with every aspect of the experience right down to bringing us the bill in a Christmas Card. This place is 5 stars!“

“We just has our son and daughter in law's wedding here last Friday. Between the venue, food and staff I could not be happier with the way things turned out. They staff was wonderful and the food was great. Everyone has an amazing time. Highly recommended.“

From the deviled eggs, calamari, chicken Milanese, and the scallops on tomato based risotto, everything was delicious! And to top it all off was two different kinds of cakes. “My good friend and I were in this evening and I am so sad we do not live close enough, because we would DEFINITLEY be regulars!!😭❤️ We ordered the soup for our sides and it was delicious. I ordered the shrimp scampi and the sauce the shrimp was swimming in was DIVINE!!!🤌 Green beans were crisp and tasty, as well as the other items. Casey ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and she was very impressed. I believe our waiter was Kay (I hope I heard her correctly). She was very sweet and wonderful to us. We are traveling to Salem, Massachusetts from western Kentucky and this dinner was a great experiance to kickstart out trip!!❤️“

“Every time I’ve eaten at the Phoenix 269 the food was incredible- the service is perfect. I love the atmosphere and the patio. It’s a cozy, family run business that makes you feel like your eating with family! I had the shrimp dish / it was delicious. The ice cream pie was unbelievably good! I’ll be back.“

Along with homemade mashed potatoes, corn, pasta, salad and rolls. Shannon was perfect from helping plan the event to making sure everyone was happy the day of party. The home fries were so flavorful, with onions and the right amount of crunch. My sister has her home fries with the Greek chili sauce! I should have followed her lead. “Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

“This place is worth making a point to visit! We will be back! The beers we tried were very good - and they have something that would fit all palates. (Im an IPA girl, and hubby is a lager guy). They also have a full bar and their own specialty drink menu —I described my drink preferences to the bar tender- and he made THE best choice for me. The bartender also had a lot of info regarding the history of the place - you could tell he liked working there. (He’s probably the reason we would return— great service and very friendly).
