“Been going to China One on Transit Road in Depew for 11 years now and they never disappoint. I always get Vegetable Lo Mein, Vegetable Fried Rice, a side of brown sauce to pour on, and 2 spring rolls. My wife always gets the Sweet & Sour Chicken with rice. Fast service, fair prices, and friendly check out service.“

“Honestly the best chinese food I've ever had. I got the beef and onion curry, and it was amazing, the man at the counter was so nice, and the food made my month. I also got the Veggie Fried Rice, and it was genuinely the best thing I've had in months, and could've been a meal on its own

Edit: I went there again just recently and I must say, it still holds up amazingly. I went in with my family and they were extremely accomodating and kind, and this has become my favorite chinese restaurant I've been too. I drive almost 30 minutes out of my way for it!“

“Ordered General Tso Chicken, Shrimp egg foo yung a with pork fried rice, Sesame Chicken and pork eggrolls. All of the food was delicious. The pork fried rice was the best friend rice I've had in years. Portions were plentiful. Definitely had to get to go containers. Service was fast food was piping hot. Definitely found a new favorite place to eat“

“Food was good after we waited over an hour to get it. Our PadThai was taken by another server so we had to wait until they made another order. It was our first time there in a few years but this mix up was unacceptable without any offer of compensation. Our server just kept apologizing. She was also taking care of way too many tables and was not as attentive as she should have been. My water was not refilled until after I called her over, she never came to check how our meal was. With the cost of food these days I would expect much better service.“

I have never been disappointed with their food, it’s always consistent. I realize others may have had some bad experiences, I have not. Since moving to the area we’ve ordered from the closest place to us, and while it was always good it was never really amazing for the price. We decided to venture just a little further tonight and I am so glad we did. Everything was hot, the portions were large enough to have leftovers, and we didn’t spend an arm and a leg. “If I'm ordering chinese, it's Chang Garden. The quality of food never disappoints. I ordered some takeout for my son and his friend, and everything was perfect. The woman at the register was very friendly, and as she handed me my order she slipped a small gift into the bag. It was a beautiful wall scroll calendar for 2026. Unexpected and appreciated. Nice touch.“

“We live about two minutes away off of North Forest and have tried every Chinese restaurant from the golf course on Maple to Williamsville North and all of Main Street Williamsville. This is OUR FAVORITE! The food is always steaming hot, consistent every time. We typically get general sous, crab ragoon, chicken lo Maine, and shrimp egg rolls and they never disappoint! The owner/workers are always super pleasant as well!“

“I used Uber eats to order a general tsao's Pizza, its something I never heard of before so I gave it a shot since it's my go-to Chinese meal! It was absolutely delicious, you guys nailed it with this one but then again over the years I've never gotten food that wasn't delicious here!“

The owners and staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely care about their customers. The son is extremely nice and is always straight to the point. Furthermore, The food is always fresh, delicious, and prepared quickly, and checkout is always fast and easy.

Don't let a few one-star reviews discourage you they seem like isolated experiences and definitely don't reflect the consistently great service and quality I've received over the years.
