Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

“All you have to remember is: Chicken Cutlet Chili Cheese California on a Wedge. Music to my ears. I crave this sandwich. The chicken cutlet is thin and crispy, the chili is spicy, and the mayo lettuce and tomato cuts the spice. “I just had my wedding at the Heritage Club, and the day went perfectly. I met with Mindy when touring the venue, and she was very helpful in explaining all the details, and she remained hands-on throughout the whole process. Everything was set up beautifully, and the events progressed seamlessly. Guests told me that this wedding was the most "on time" and organized wedding they have ever attended. The maitre-d helped make sure everything was going according to plan, and he even made sure we were looking at the right cameras during various events. Janet, the bridal attendant, was also incredibly helpful beyond words. When my husband's button popped off his tuxedo jacket, she sewed it back on within seconds. When lipstick got on my teeth, she appears with a q-tip and some floss. She was always around to help carry my train or give me a glass of water (with a straw!).There was a moment when I was walking with my full train, but by the time I reached the end of a hall, Janet had magically bustled the dress without me even noticing. From a guest-experience perspective, the Heritage Club also went above and beyond. Everyone raved about how full they were from cocktail hour, but then were still amazed by the quality of the seated dinner and passed desserts. The venue itself is also beautiful, with each space having its distinct characteristics. The ballroom in the daylight is breathtaking and airy.“

“Love this place! This is my go-to spot for lunch with friends and family. I highly recommend the grilled peach ricotta toast, the hot honey chicken sandwich, the everything pigs in a blanket, the crispy brussels sprouts and any of the smoothies. YUM!

“The original chefs left from Hubba Hubba to open their own place and the spot is open until 5 a.m. too! But way cleaner and less sketchy. I always get their chicken cutlet sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, provolone cheese and chilli. Their chilli is SO spicy and is so special to me because it reminds me of my childhood. I spent so many years trying to eat the chilli when I went there with my dad and sister when I was in elementary school, but it was always too hot. Finally one day I did it!! With Texas water on the side and some chilli cheese fries. Now it's my still my favorite place to get my spicy cravings. And even though my dad doesn't live here anymore, he still wants to go to Texas Chili every time he visits and he always asks me to bring him chilli when I go see him!!!“

“Crackers is a spot often overlooked as it is on the entrance road to the Roosevelt Field Mall in an office building's first floor. While this coffee shop offers no table service, the cafeteria style ordering gives you a chance to see all the day's offerings and to peruse their menu board. They make great soups, salads, and sandwiches as well as daily hot lunch specials. Often, I would take home lunch for dinner, especially their Swedish Meatballs and Egg Noodles, Sausage and Peppers, and Chicken Francese. The office favorite is their BLT. A nice bonus if you dine in is their dining room. Decorated in rattan and light colors, it feels like the place belongs far south of Long Island. It is a great spot to meet a friend for lunch and catch up on cable News 12. They draw a business crowd, but the line moves so you can enjoy your lunch.“
