“We just moved to the area and have tried many different Asian cuisines. Tai pan was the best priced and the quality of the sesame chicken outshined all the other restaurants near by. The mei fun was super good too. The crab wontons were super fresh and not heavy in fried wrapper. The balance was perfect. One complaint was not enough white rice but that’s an easy fix for next time and didn’t take away from the experience. My husband got the red curry with no to lite spice and they made it just right. We did take away and plan for this to be our go to spot going forward.

“Best pork dumplings (and dumpling sauce) ever. The vegetable dumplings are also very flavorful. The ramen is solid too. Highly recommend the peach jasmine iced tea. It’s an explosion of peach flavor with actual peaches in it and it’s sooooo good.“

“I got General Tso's chicken with lo mein and crab rangoon. Everything was piping hot and tasty. The chicken was a little tough in spots but nothing out of the ordinary for Chinese takeout. I even got more crab rangoons (12) than advertised (10) and they were nicely stuffed.“

“Really glad to have Empire Wok so close to home here in Delmar. I'm in Glenmont but it's only 5 minutes away. The food is delicious and the service was very friendly to me and my girl. We ordered BBQ spare ribs with pork fried rice and chicken wings with pork fried rice (no veggies). Both were fresh, tasty, and hit the spot. Tried some new things like Chop Suey and Buddha's delight. Everything is super solid and delicious, lots of sauce. There are slight extra charges for things such as putting egg in the vegetable fried rice, but it is made the way we asked it to be made, and the delivery was quick and accurate. much better than using an online ordering app. I think the restaurant makes it better with direct ordering and we did too. This will be our go to rather than the two or three others in the immediate area.“

“Best quality Chinese takeout in Schenectady. Fried foods are not soaking in oil. The egg roll I had was nicely deep fried and the wrapper was not soaked in oil! Same with the fried rice and food. Everything tasted like it was cooked with clean oil and not drenched in oil. I would say quality of food is definitely a step above your typical Chinese takeout. Try them out! Highly recommend.“

The fried rice was great in my lunchtime order, definitely not dry.
I won't name names, but I see reviews that have 1 star on atmosphere, appeared to have been delivery. Maybe you meant your own space (where you consumed the food) has a terrible atmosphere?

I also won't name my regular Chinese restaurant's name either, it is safe to say that I now have switched to new. No 1
