“Delicious food, and friendly staff“

“I took my family to la riserva last week. We had an amazing dinner. My girls loved the pasta fagioli!!! They also enjoyed their meals; pasta with marinara and the chicken parmigiana with green beans. My husband and I equally enjoyed our meals. The service was great. Our waitress was knowledgeable and everything came out in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend la riserva to my friends.“

“Reno’s is a hidden gem in Yonkers. We recently celebrated my mother in law’s 90th there with about 30 plus people and we couldn’t have had a better day. The food is absolutely delicious and Reno and his staff were very attentive and accommodating. The addition of Ron Masciandaro’s wonderful piano made the day that more special. Grazzie Mille❤️“

“Very good pizza! The mozzarella tasted so fresh and delicious, as well as the tomato sauce. The dough was a great consistency. Their white cheese slice was also very good. One slice is plenty for a one-person lunch. It was quick service, too, in a casual environment with a good number of tables and chairs inside to enjoy it. The prices were very reasonable — $20 for two slices, two drinks, and some garlic knots.“

I tried the short rib ramen and boy was it good! The rib was tender and packed with flavor, I only wish there were more pieces. Everything was flavorful from the broth to the veges. “This was my first visit. I was not there for dinner, I visited after dinner time. I went to get something to have for lunch the next day. I ordered the Egg Foo Young, it was EXCELLENT. Believe it or not the food was great the next day. So, just imagine how good it would have been pipping hot the same night. “My goto for Chinese and Japanese take out in Throggs Neck. Their food, drinks and noodles with duck sauce reminds me of the old Hawaii Sea on Tremont. I always order from them and I am never disappointed. But this review is not for the great food but for them going above and beyond to please a customer. A friend of mine caught a fresh yellow fin tuna and I wanted to make my own sushi. They sold me their sushi rice which is awesome and included all the condiments I needed to make the meal with my family a success. I also purchased some shumai cuz theirs are the bomb. Thanks to the awesome staff for helping me make it all possible and suggesting what saki from the liquor store next door to make my authentic Japanese meal at home. Most places would be stand offish but they actually applauded me and asked me to show them pictures when I came back. So I’m gonna do one better and write this awesome review and post the pics from my meal here ❤️🫵🏼💚🐲“

“The Parrot Restaurant in Yonkers is one of the best Spanish restaurants in the area. They offer amazing family meals at unbelievable prices. Unlike others, their food is incredibly fresh. For example, even the white rice tastes like it was made the same day. The beans are very well-seasoned, and when you order the bean stew, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find carrots and potatoes—ingredients often overlooked at many Spanish restaurants.

Their empanadas are made to order, meaning they don't sit under a heat lamp; they are freshly prepared when you order them. The freshness and quality of their food are truly unmatched. Additionally, the variety of dishes they offer ensures that there is something for everyone, whether you are a meat lover or a vegetarian.

All in all, this is definitely a go-to spot for good quality food at great prices. Last but not least, the staff is wonderful, including the guys who do the deliveries. They are always friendly, prompt, and ensure that your food arrives hot and fresh. I wish them all the best and will definitely make this my regular place for Spanish food at least a few times a month.“

“Seriously everyone knows that you can't order ackee and saltfish from just anywhere. I even did doordash. The food was as if they served me from the pot . The sweetest bananas on the side . Not salty and so much flavor. fresh fresh fresh . I had to call and thank them . my morning was going bad until I ate my lovely breakfast. even though they didn't see me they sent my food with love. the plate was packed too . so full , saving the rest for lunch“

“I always stop here on the way to the beach. Quick service, tables often cleaned. The green tea is delicious and consistent with other Panera Breads I have been to. Plenty of parking. There is lots of outdoor seating during the warmer weather. Bathrooms also are well kept and stocked. I will continue coming here frequently.“

“In my search of a decent Chinese restaurant these days, I came across Yummy House. Due to all the poor reviews, I hesitated ordering from them however, every time, I pass by, I see people in and out ALL THE TIME. I’m glad I decided to give them a try. This is the second time and I am LOVING them so far. Vegetables tasted very fresh and were not over cooked. The picture is chicken and garlic sauce with white rice. The egg rolls were tasty and NOT greasy AT ALL. I hope they keep it up! They are pricey but this is the way of life now. It costs a lot for these businesses to stay open. I’m willing to pay if the food and service is worth it. I’m pretty satisfied. Woman on the phone was very courteous.“
