“Delicious food, and friendly staff“

“I took my family to la riserva last week. We had an amazing dinner. My girls loved the pasta fagioli!!! They also enjoyed their meals; pasta with marinara and the chicken parmigiana with green beans. My husband and I equally enjoyed our meals. The service was great. Our waitress was knowledgeable and everything came out in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend la riserva to my friends.“

“Reno’s is a hidden gem in Yonkers. We recently celebrated my mother in law’s 90th there with about 30 plus people and we couldn’t have had a better day. The food is absolutely delicious and Reno and his staff were very attentive and accommodating. The addition of Ron Masciandaro’s wonderful piano made the day that more special. Grazzie Mille❤️“

“Walking in the restaurant had a warm rich mix of yeast dough and tomato sauce. Already a pleasant experience. We ordered 1 Margherita and 1 cheese pizza. Took no less than 3 minutes to get the order out. Once we took the first bite, we already knew we made the right choice.“

“Very good pizza! The mozzarella tasted so fresh and delicious, as well as the tomato sauce. The dough was a great consistency. Their white cheese slice was also very good. One slice is plenty for a one-person lunch. It was quick service, too, in a casual environment with a good number of tables and chairs inside to enjoy it. The prices were very reasonable — $20 for two slices, two drinks, and some garlic knots.“

“Seeking gourmet level Chinese cuisine brought me to Mister Chen’s Seafood & Bar. Their extensive menu confirmed my next dinner destination.

My luck continued as upon arrival @7 Sat night there was plenty of seating. Immediately seated, I began the tough choice of so many unique preparations!

My choices included Fresh Seafood & Bean Curd Soup, Chicken & Broccoli, Beef w Szechuan Chili Spiced Onions, House Style Singapore Noodles.

The soup was subtle & delicious, slightly different appearance from menu. Some chili oil & soy sauce made it just right for my palate. The Beef was really tasty & well seasoned, subtle flavors with familiar spices & some mysterious undertones. Chicken broccoli was a great version of a popular combination. The Singapore Mei Fun noodles had an emphasis of curry which was unexpectedly inspired yet did not match my taste. It may have been slightly over seasoned for my liking.

Overall an excellent choice for inspired Chinese cuisine food! Returning soon!!!“

“The Parrot Restaurant in Yonkers is one of the best Spanish restaurants in the area. They offer amazing family meals at unbelievable prices. Unlike others, their food is incredibly fresh. For example, even the white rice tastes like it was made the same day. The beans are very well-seasoned, and when you order the bean stew, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find carrots and potatoes—ingredients often overlooked at many Spanish restaurants.

Their empanadas are made to order, meaning they don't sit under a heat lamp; they are freshly prepared when you order them. The freshness and quality of their food are truly unmatched. Additionally, the variety of dishes they offer ensures that there is something for everyone, whether you are a meat lover or a vegetarian.

All in all, this is definitely a go-to spot for good quality food at great prices. Last but not least, the staff is wonderful, including the guys who do the deliveries. They are always friendly, prompt, and ensure that your food arrives hot and fresh. I wish them all the best and will definitely make this my regular place for Spanish food at least a few times a month.“

“This was my first visit. I was not there for dinner, I visited after dinner time. I went to get something to have for lunch the next day. I ordered the Egg Foo Young, it was EXCELLENT. Believe it or not the food was great the next day. So, just imagine how good it would have been pipping hot the same night. “My goto for Chinese and Japanese take out in Throggs Neck. Their food, drinks and noodles with duck sauce reminds me of the old Hawaii Sea on Tremont. I always order from them and I am never disappointed. But this review is not for the great food but for them going above and beyond to please a customer. A friend of mine caught a fresh yellow fin tuna and I wanted to make my own sushi. They sold me their sushi rice which is awesome and included all the condiments I needed to make the meal with my family a success. I also purchased some shumai cuz theirs are the bomb. Thanks to the awesome staff for helping me make it all possible and suggesting what saki from the liquor store next door to make my authentic Japanese meal at home. Most places would be stand offish but they actually applauded me and asked me to show them pictures when I came back. So I’m gonna do one better and write this awesome review and post the pics from my meal here ❤️🫵🏼💚🐲“

“Seriously everyone knows that you can't order ackee and saltfish from just anywhere. I even did doordash. The food was as if they served me from the pot . The sweetest bananas on the side . Not salty and so much flavor. fresh fresh fresh . I had to call and thank them . my morning was going bad until I ate my lovely breakfast. even though they didn't see me they sent my food with love. the plate was packed too . so full , saving the rest for lunch“

“If your coming ofd a cold and looking for some protein don't order the Chicken Bones, I mean Chicken Wings as they have no meat 🍖 on them. There's not even a teaspoon of meat per chicken wing. All the other food is great though. #WheresTheMeat“

Due to all the poor reviews, I hesitated ordering from them however, every time, I pass by, I see people in and out ALL THE TIME. I’m glad I decided to give them a try. This is the second time and I am LOVING them so far. Vegetables tasted very fresh and were not over cooked. The picture is chicken and garlic sauce with white rice. The egg rolls were tasty and NOT greasy AT ALL. I hope they keep it up! They are pricey but this is the way of life now. It costs a lot for these businesses to stay open. I’m willing to pay if the food and service is worth it. I’m pretty satisfied. Woman on the phone was very courteous.“

“I always stop here on the way to the beach. Quick service, tables often cleaned. The green tea is delicious and consistent with other Panera Breads I have been to. Plenty of parking. There is lots of outdoor seating during the warmer weather. Bathrooms also are well kept and stocked. I will continue coming here frequently.“
