“Mario's Metro Pizza is hands down the best pizzaria in New Rochelle; and I have tried them all as a New Ro long time resident. I am a pizza aficionado and their pizza has only the top ingredient. Their cheese and sauce is amazing.

“Ordered for the first time last night, they were super accommodating since we called at 8:45 and they close at 9:00…. They made us 5 pies and I’m was so appreciative. They were so nice and even recommended one which I absolutely loved (with potatoes!) we can’t wait to go back but to eat there so we get the Pizza Hut out of the oven! I will be referring everybody here. Honestly they make pain, manageable. I spoke to Kathy on the phone and Kathy remembered that I was having a hard time scheduling because my son was sick. I love that there are so many different options for building your pizza! The pizza was thin and crispy which is my preferred way to have pizza though if you’re a fan of a thicker crust you do have that option to choose for your base. I would say the price was also very reasonable. I want to give a shoutout to the Monday afternoon staff, their customer service is on point, they were friendly, attentive and hardworking! The pizza is everything great New York pizza should be—thin, crispy (with that perfect crack in the crust that true NYC pizza lovers know and appreciate), perfectly foldable, and topped with quality mozz.

The pizza alone is worth the visit, but the service made the experience even better. The woman working there (who I suspect may be the owner) was incredibly welcoming and friendly. She took the time to chat with us and even helped move our suitcases inside to a safe place while we ate our pie.

“GET THE KALE CEASAR SALAD!!! I love their pizza but I go for the salad. This restaurant has such a great atmosphere and their menu is very accommodating. Everything on the menu is delicious and if you are strong enough to leave room for dessert, you will be extremely happy. Their cookie and their brownie come in a cast iron skillet and tase homemade and the ice cream and whipped cream make it even more delicious.“

He told me that my mother had wandered in after having her car bumper come completely loose on Marcus Ave. She had no phone, and was shaken up by the whole ordeal. Joe called me for her, and gave her a cup of hot tea. I went over, picked her up and got her home. Later my wife and I returned to pick up her car. We decided to eat dinner there and take advantage of the pasta night specials. The lasagna and the rigatoni with meat sauce were both excellent.
