“We are from out of town but visit ROC frequently because our son plays on the Jr. Amerks Juniors/NAHL team. He and some teammates discovered this place and go there for lunch literally every day they have home games. This place is the best-family owned and operated, great food great prices, great service! Tiramisu is my favorite thing in the world and Mamma G’s tiramisu is the best I have ever had. Carlo is the bomb!“

“We were recently in the Olive Garden in Victor NY and had a wonderful experience! Our server Mofosa was absolutely fantastic- we had a full table of 9 (4 being kids)! He interacted with the youngest being 4! The food was delicious and just an all around great experience!!“

“We recently celebrated our anniversary at Pane Vino. They provided us a very quaint seat overlooking the river. They have done a nice job masking the noise level of their beautiful interior that is full of character. We interacted with 4 staff that were all very personable, professional, and efficient. The food was all exceptional and the wine list very nice. We were impressed that the owner checked on us several times, he definitely cares and pays attention to detail. We plan to return here on our next visit to the area.“

“I don't know if, behind the curtain, Olive Garden is the Chick-fil-A of sit-down restaurants and they run it like the navy. But the service has been consistently great, the servers are incredibly friendly, and the portion sizes are almost too much for my poor soul. But there's always boxes!“

“Plenty of parking. Nice fire pit outdoors. Only Monerade noise so I wasn’t too bad. Nice to car. Surface was excellent and very prompt. They did screw up on my allergies as they specifically said I’m very allergic to a certain seed and when we order the octopus, it was covered in these seeds. Chefs were not paying attention. They made us a new one. No comp was given. The food overall was very good. Octopus was tender. The ricotta appetizer was good, but not nearly as good as Rocco on Monro Avenue near the city. They still have the best homemade ricotta downtown in town. I ordered the dock which was tender, and my wife had a short ribs which she loved. She also got the vegetable salad dish, which was very good and grilled perfectly. Drinks were on point. A lot of older people. It was disappointing that they put pecorino cheese on their linguine and clams as you’re never supposed to mix cheese with seafood with Italian food anyway. That’s not authentic. If it wasn’t for the cheese, the dish would’ve been perfect. They did a good job overall. I would still recommend it.“

“From the gal at the counter all the way through….everything was exceptional!!! It’s so hard to find chicken and eggplant Parmesan in take out pizza shoppes up here in Rochester….but this place DID NOT disappoint!!

“The best in this part of town for sure. It is in the historic old building on Monroe Avenue but it is huge with lots of wonderful servers there. Really diverse menu, love the salad selections. Huge bar with lots of fun people...I try to go weekly“

“This is my staple place to grab a couple slices for lunch where they give you a good amount of toppings and the flavor is on point. I usually get the War Eagle which means 1 slice of pepperoni & banana peppers plus 1 slice of buffalo chicken for those in the know. This location can get very busy and there's really only outdoor seating, but the workers are always very efficient and get your order knocked out quickly.“

“Staff was quick and nice. Definitely a 95% takeout only as not really set up for dine in customers. But besides that I got buffalo pizza came out on time and not exactly my kind of pizza ,crust was thick and good a crunch. No flop,and sauce has a good flavor. Plenty of yummy cheese. Over all good flavor and enjoyed the pizza. Totally have it again“

cold sub for $10 plus a 20oz drink.
Here’s the truth…it was the best sub we’ve ever had and hubby is an expert.
Since we know the owner, we assumed he gave us the ultimate sub. Nope, when I called to thank him for the extra attention I was told that all the subs are made the same for everyone. Super impressed, highly recommend.“

“We went on 8/14/25. I tried the Abruzzi. Roasted pork, sharp provolone, broccoli rabe. But I had them throw on the roasted red peppers, which normally come on the Nellie. This is usually served as a cold sub but I asked them if they would toast the entire thing. I couldn't wait to get home. When I unwrapped that bad boy, the 1st thing I noticed when I bit into it, was the warm, toasty crunch of that bread. Then I got the porky goodness of the meat. Followed by the ever so slightly garlicky flavor of the broccoli rabe. And then the sweetness of those roasted peppers. I read some negative reviews right before we came here. Almost didn't come here because of them. All I can say guys, is I am so glad we decided to try Primo Hoagies for ourselves. Oh yeah, my partner got the Italian Diablo. He loved it, as well. I couldn't decide when I first walked in. I figured I'd get something different next time I come. But I am pretty much in love with that Abruzzi!! 💟“
