“Happened upon this restaurant with friends, and what a great find it was! Food was very good. I had the Enchiladas with their special Mole sauce. Excellent. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. This will now be on my list of favorite restaurants to visit and recommend.“
“I love Florence Prime Diner! This is just what the neighborhood needs! I like to get the vegetable quesadilla, caprese panini, cuban panini, and I love their avocado toast for breakfast. They serve breakfast all day also so that's great. Definitely check it out if you are in the area. You will love it!“
“I haven’t been to a diner of this quality in over 30 years. Absolute excellence. My food was exactly how I ordered it and my server Maragita made me feel like I was with family. I live in Brooklyn but I will come here when I need the real deal. Efgaristo!“
“Everything about B&H is five star. It’s possibly the most crammed restaurant in the city. It’s a quintessential dining experience, like going to Katz deli.I ordered the whitefish salad on challah with a cup of matzoh ball soup. Delicious. They took my order by calling out from the counter while I was sitting at a table. Then, when the food was ready, they handed it to folks eating at the counter who had to turn around and serve me.Everything about this place is old school New York and I love it“
“I grew up in the 80’s, dealt with a lot of eateries in Queens. Hands down, this Diner blows all Latin food establishments when it comes to the Cuban Sandwich. The best my wife, son & myself has tried. Everything is on point, & will continue to make this my only diner stop in NYC !“
“Excellent diner good after seeing Hadestown. Service was excellent. Portions are large. Food taste and selection better than expected. We drive 3+ hours one way to see a Broadway show from Vermont so a good, hearty, tasty meal before heading home was greatly appreciated.“
“We had the best and most reasonably priced breakfast NY at Mama Jo’s and such a friendly, welcoming experience. This is a cart so no seating is available, ensure you understand this before leaving negative reviews, but the food is fresh and delicious!“
“My partner and I came after a tough workout recently on a Saturday afternoon, as Revelie had been on our radar for a few months! The wait wasn't terribly long at 3:30 (we waited about 30 min outside, though it was cold). The food was tasty and good quality, I liked the chopped cheese the most. Fun diner feel too! There was a minor holdup to actually get the food, but definitely worth it once we actually got to try it. Would recommend!“
“Best diner in the area but can get crowded, especially in the morning. Food is pretty good. Don’t recommend the omelette though, it was very watery and no flavor. The matzo ball soup is some of the best I’ve had. This diner is the birthplace of Seinfeld which is pretty cool.“
“A perfect establishment—solid breakfast food, kind servers, and a vibe that reminds me of going to breakfast with my dad as a kid. Other diners in the city are at least twice as expensive and don’t provide half the warmth or charm of this place. Thank you thank you Mike’s!!!“
“35 years ago when diner had different name, cook was angelo, you'd get 2 fried eggs, 4 ounces o.j. coffee, glass of water hash browns..huge portions..bacon or ham..all for under $2.00 + $1.00 tip..everything was excellent..service was great, as was all the food..hamburgers were big, inexpensive..very tasty..those were great old days..“
“Waited in line to put name on list. Table wait from that point about a hour so went to get coffee and walk to piers til readySat down and knew we were getting pancakes and wings as that's the reason we wentWings were very good, wish the spice was a little higher but that's personal preferencePancakes with berry compote on top were outstanding. There is reason they are known for these pancakesAll the other good at tables around us looked very good as well“
“I haven’t been here in years just went the other day cause I was feeding for some crab legs and some wings, etc. atmosphere still clean still on point and Manager still cool as ever always treat you with kindness. I wish a lot of other restaurants were like this, please keep up the good work. Much love!!!!“
“Ate here several times on two different trips and always enjoyed it. The service was great, efficient but not too intense. Table turnover is pretty quick, and the counter is great for singles. It’s comfort breakfast food with a good vibe. Definitely recommend for this area.“
“Our first breakfast Diner experience in New York.. Andrews was very busy but we were seated quickly and efficiently.Even though very busy our waitress had time to chat briefly. Our breakfast were HUGE and very tasty, also filling which meant we could keep going until later afternoon before having to refuel !!We would recommend Andrews 100%“
“First and foremost I have no words other than I love this place, it's cozy and what I love the most is the feeling of being at home. Great little diner in Tribeca. I would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the hard working staff. I would also like to mention the service in which everyone goes above and beyond just to make the customers happy. Lastly, the atmosphere is unique which is Tribeca. I highly recommend this diner!“
“We didn’t realize this place was 100% vegan until we sat down but it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Bbq wings, mozzarella sticks and Ruben sandwich. The owner came out to say hi which was super nice. 10/10!“
“This place has always had great food I have been eating here 20 plus years the weekend get super busy so be prepared to wait for a table they have the best lemonade around but if you're not in to sweet stuff like my wife don't get it or ask for less “
“My first breakfast in New York City and I came with an appetite. The food was great and I would have taken a picture of my eggs but I forgot. ha! The waitress was attentive and kept the coffee cup full. The pancakes and blueberries were on point. Just know if you’re eating at a sit-down restaurant in the city, you’re gonna pay a bit more. Bacon, 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and blueberries= $25 + tip. Still a great place for breakfast among the many places in this city. And their sign says breakfast served all day.“
“We arrived with our children attracted by the “free kids meal” offer and Steven served us. My husband and I agreed that it is the best service they have given us anywhere! The tbone steak delicious! Juicy, just how we like it! Steven was very friendly, always asking if everything was okay or if we needed something, the place was very clean and spacious and with the latest technology, we really enjoyed our dinner today! Thanks Steven! We will return without a doubt...“
“We just happened to park in Manhattan next to this restaurant awaiting a cruise from Manhattan Cruise Terminal. We used the restrooms a couple of times and from the outside and inside of the place it looked like a laid back spot that probably served good food. When we returned from the cruise we came back for breakfast. It was truly a laid back spot that served good food. We tried the crabcake Benedict and it was very flavorful but the English muffins were very overdone. My lady asked to replace hers with French toast. I happily ate the remainder of hers and just left out the English muffin. It was still very flavorful. The hostess and servers were very polite. Another person handled refills on coffee. They teamed up on serving well. I will return to this restaurant the next time I'm in the Manhattan area, and I will be trying the crabcake Benedict once more.“
“We were able to go to this restaurant during our stay in NY.The cuisine is classic. The atmosphere is great, the waiters put on quite the show with their songs and dances. The downside is that we had a table far away and couldn't see anything. Despite our request to change places, the waitress refused our request.Don't be impressed by the wait, it goes by pretty quickly.“
“First breakfast of our trip brought us to this diner afew blocks from our hotel. We were seated immediately and served straight away. We opted for the Sunday brunch which is available from 10am and at $22 per person, was value for money.Would highly recommend this place if you are visiting and in the area“
“I went yesterday with a female friend at 12:30PM, Saturday December 2, 2023. Excellent food, calm family atmosphere. The only annoying thing is that the waitress kept asking, " more coffee, more coffee"? Other than that I love this diner. Great to take parents, girlfriend etc.“
“we were very happy with our breakfast sandwiches! I had a few questions regarding coffee grinds. the man was knowledgeable and happy to share information! overall 10/10 :) Nice Latin American decor - also, very clean, organized and spacious cafe!“
“Bus Stop is a popular brunch spot in the West Village, with a cute & casual atmosphere. While they don’t take reservations, you can get seated decently quickly ( < 30 minute wait time) if you go before noon on weekends. The food was good and the coffee was amazing (it also came in a fun beer glass) but I thought the portion size wasn’t the largest. Service was good, as our orders were promptly taken and food also came quickly.Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience here, and would return to Bus Stop Cafe!“
“Small homey diner with good food and good coffee. They have a wide variety of menu items including health conscious options and a natural smoothie bar. The customer service was excellent. The staff was attentive, warm, and kind. The inside is small but cozy. A great spot for a coffee date, friend date, or solo date.“
“My friends and I came in for a quick brunch and were very happy we did! The server was super friendly and efficient, and the food was so much better than expected. The menu items we got were simple, classic breakfast items, but between the eggs all being cooked perfectly and the wonderful surprise of the cinnamon Belgian waffles, it was one of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. It's very no-frills good food.“
“Going to Steve's is always a great time. With this past Sunday for brunch being no exception! We ordered 3 different omelettes and french toast. Everything cooked to perfection. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, easy going staff that always has a smile. Walked away happy and will be going again. Highly recommend!!!“
“It is a nice place for breakfast and coffee. Portions are satisfying. The omelettes are delicious and the staff is really friendly. If you are staying in this area or passing through, you should give this place a try. Greetings to my Greek friend. ??“
“I highly recommend!! Great food!! I was there for breakfast, I can't wait to try lunch! It was clean, and neat (very important to me!!), great service, and friendly staff...also a must! One thing that stood out, is the "Fallen Soldier Table", a table set to honor our fallen soldiers. Since my son and husband are Veterans, this table has special meaning.“
“Just your typical Diner with an old school charm to it. Food is always prepped good. No complaints. Staff are very friendly and out going. Food rating is a 3 out of 5 because its a diner. There isnt anything that separates it from other diners food wise. Same menu as other diners but the quality is very good..“
“I absolutely love Joe Jr!!! Can’t live without it. Wake up every morning ready for their perfect omelette (ham cheddar onions is my go-to right now—but really any of them) home fries and buttery toast. Amazing banana chocolate chip pancakes.Joe Jr feels like home, it’s an essential part of the neighborhood and the guys who run the show there every day are the best! So sweet and work together so well—they keep up a crazy fast pace and always get it right. Long live Joe’s!!“
“Now this is one dinner I will always rate 10☆. Been coming here since 1985 when I first started driving a yellow cab. This place have fresh food, very friendly staff. Till this day owners still remember me, I have beautiful memories in this place. Open 24/7 My son loves this dinner..“
“Best food and customer service you can get . My mom has been going here since she was in middle school and now I have been going there since I was in middle school- over 30 years combined of going to Sal’s and he still knows both of our orders by heart!“
“Us 4 friends went for brunch on a Sunday at 12pm (Prime brunch time) expected to wait at least 40 mins, but was surprised to just have a 10-15 mins wait. Like any other NYC brunch spot, the tables were a bit too small and not enough space for people to walk around comfortably. But omg the food was delicious! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants an amazing brunch. I can't wait to go there again and try more items off their menu!“
“Didn’t eat there so I can’t speak for the food. I went straight to Zaza for luggage storage. A friendly staff took my luggages even when I didn’t make a reservation. $6 for one piece for a full day before 8 something pm.Very happy with the serve. If I had the time I would dine in. I like the interior and decorations. Location is very convenient.“
“Awesome brunch. Wait is really long on the weekend however and they only do walk-ins. Food came out slow and service left something to be desired but food mostly made up for it. I'd definitely try and come here more often if I lived closer and it wasn't as busy!“
“Good place to eat at normal prices in New York.Homemade food.Full of workers.Lovely staff.Very extensive menu at a very good price.Wine very well served.Dietary restrictions: There are corn cakes and they speak Spanish. Many things to eat with gluten.“
“It’s an oasis in Canarsie Brooklyn. Much sweet or unsweetened juices and salads. Thank you Mellissa original, Mellisa’s sister number one and number two. You are all efficient business women and fine young ladies. This is the best American diner in the middle of hard working New Yorkers.“
“George's is one of the survivors in a world, unfortunately becoming devoid of that classic diner. Not fancy, reasonably priced, and having great food and service, George's is reminiscent of the classic great-spoon diner. Warm, comfy, and a great neighborhood treasure, George's serves the classics and then some. I came in to grab a great breakfast and couldn't finish my meal for all the food given to me. In a world filled with over-priced brunch spots and bad service, George's is my go to for some good basic classic breakfast that will not break the bank - you'll feel like you're having Saturday breakfast at Grandma's or rather your uncle's place.“
“Union Street Cafe is an old school diner with an amazingly affordable menu of solid choices. CASH ONLY. Pancakes, egg sandwiches, burgers, turkey clubs, tuna melts, coffee, pastries all make the menu. It's a small place, mostly 4 top tables. Would be difficult to accommodate groups larger than that unless you came off peak. Ambiance is very casual and a little retro. Service was understandably a little frantic on a busy Saturday and very friendly. Staff is bilingual (Spanish).CASH ONLY.“
“Very happy to have come across it this morning. The ideal restaurant that I imagined for having an American breakfast.Remarkable welcome, very pleasant (thank you!)Perfect atmosphere for me.On the kitchen side: ommelette for me and pancake for my wife: very generous, unfortunately omelette a little cooked (be careful according to my tastes), gargantuan pancakeI recommend to take advantage of the US loan and another great service“
“I love this Liberty Diner it's a clean Diner please everyone is respectful and it's food is fresh I love the staff everyone is respectful and I never had a problem please come in respectful or like Joe get out this Liberty Diner is like a good 10“
“Had a wonderful time enjoying a late night/early morning meal here before our early flight out of LGA. Staff were so warm and welcoming and food was very good, great selection, service was great and there was no rush, we were even encouraged to take our time and hang out until the airport opened. Would come back in a heartbeat!“
“Homey diner spot in the neighborhood and it’s a real gem. Kinda hard to notice from the store front but inside is a bustling and welcoming family-owned diner. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick to serve. Their coffee is delicious and I have yet to find a dish that I wasn’t satisfied with. Tried the corned hash with eggs and it was yum :) The chicken salad triple decker sandwich was also delicious. The food is always made fresh and super filling! Will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu! Thanks for the great service!“
“I have been visit this diner from a very young age. I love it here and will continue to eat here. One of my favorites is the “Big Mess” it consist of potatoes, onions, green peppers, meat of your choice, eggs all mixed up in one dish. I also like the salmon hash over egg whites or eggs of your choice with home fries, french fries or grits. The only thing I will say is the coffee can be a little stronger coffee, kinda taste like water, but in this recession that we are in, I don’t expect the coffee to be like Starbucks.Highly recommend this place.“
“Love this place! my family and I have brunch almost every Sunday after church. We LOVE Sikah, Irene, Nana and Maria. Helen is wonderful amd treats me and my kids like family. The food is also delicious - the spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parm, calamari, turkey burger, and the list goes on!!“
“All-day breakfast even on weekdays, featuring all the classics (eggs, pancakes, bagels, etc.) Very friendly service as well, and great music as a bonus. No frills, just the caffeine and brunch food you want (lunch options too), and a chill atmosphere. Highly recommend!“
“Amazing little diner kind of old style run by family. The cook is the owner DINO, and the daughters are amazingly sweet & kind. If any allergies they are willing to comply with a special need. Unfortunately, it gets very crowded, so timing is everything it's worth the wait. Everything is fresh, especially the Greek dishes. Very family oriented location parking in the street wheelchair accessible.“
