My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. “My family has made Bobo’s a staple of our weekly dining since we moved to Somers five years ago. The food is always consistent, the staff are friendly and attentive and make you feel like family.

My wife has Celiacs and Bobos has the best Gluten Free Chicken Cutlets in the area. We never have to worry about cross contamination as the staff is well trained in food allergy preparations.

I would recommend using their mobile app to order around lunch time as the place gets slammed midday and ordering ahead of expedites the lunch process.

“They say never judge a book by its cover, well that couldn’t be more true for Lou’s Wagon (hot dog truck). On the surface, it’s a really small white box-truck that doesn’t appear to offer much. Rest assure, that is not the case. The food and service here was great. The two hotdogs with chili, cheese and cooked onions that I purchased were very tasty. The chili had just the right consistency and the cheese actually tasted like cheese. The bread wasn’t stale and the dogs didn’t taste like they’ve been sitting in boiled water for a week. The food was fresh. The lady running the hot dog truck was extremely welcoming, quick and courteous. For anyone looking for a quick bite and tasty hot dogs at a very affordable price compared to other food trucks I’ve stopped at, this spot is a winner. They also offer hot sausage, Dr. Browns soda, chips and cookies. The food spot is perfectly located right at the corner of an intersection just off 9A and Croton Dam Rd. Give them a try. You won’t regret it!“
