“We have frequented Augie’s since it first opened 15 years ago. We always found the food to be consistent and extremely good. When they changed the the menu recently, we were concerned that we might not like the change. Rest assured that our fears were unfounded. The prime rib and the short rib with risotto were absolutely delicious as usual. Also, the new additions to the menu were fabulous. Service continues to be excellent. If you haven’t been there, definitely give it a try!!!“

“We chose My Cousin's for Mom's surprise 90th Birthday party and I can't rave enough about the professionalism, the Food, and the attention to detail!We met with Alyssa initially in December and she was a delightful pleasure to work with. Subsequent meetings and conversations were equally productive.The day of, Alyssa and David were both on hand assuring that this celebration moved forward like a precision time piece.Additionally! “We have done a couple parties there the owner never disappoints it can be from 15 to 50 people the food and staff are amazing can't wait to do my son's party there in the spring. All of our freinds always tell us how they enjoy are parties there not to mention the drinks and appetizers.“

“I ordered the porchetta sandwich. It looked better than it tasted. The ciabatta was not a true ciabatta and did not go with the sandwich. The porchetta was just crisped up pork belly and was skimpy on the portion considering the price of the sandwich. The waitress said I can substitute the fries for any of the sides but didn't state there would be an upcharge. There was tiny fine print under the sandwiches that says they'll be an upcharge but it's very easy to overlook. I opted for the warm cabbage side which was very tasty and would order again.My friend ordered the beet salad and that looked amazing. I'd suggest trying that and if I go again I'll order that instead.Lastly, the water glass had lipstick on it. I wasn't wearing any. When I asked for a fresh and clean water glass, there was no acknowledgement about the lipstick, even after I pointed it out. That was unprofessional, in my opinion as a former waitress and bartender.Overall, will I go back? Eventually, yes but it's towards the bottom of the list of things to do.“

“We came here based on the reviews after an appointment and upper Westchester. This is actually after our second visit.We actually sat in the lounge area by the bar, where it was happy hour and enjoy the music, the energy of the surrounding people and of course the food is excellent. The fusion of Latin and modern cuisines is so ingenious their drinks are phenomenal. “Came here on a whim with a large group (19 of us) after we had dinner up the street. They were super accommodating even though they were very busy. Service and drinks were great, we really enjoyed ourselves! We’ve been here several times before and the service and drinks are always top notch. Gone are the sticky floors, the dripping roof from the back room, the broken foosball tables, the jukebox that seemed to host only various versions of the song, "Wagon Wheel", or the bartenders that would serve you a pitcher of Jack and a pitcher of Coke on a Thursday just because you asked for it. taco Tuesday and wing Wednesday are pretty popular, as is Thursday evening following spirit dinner when the place is packed with the sons and daughters of slum and gravy. Extensive selection of beer on tap, and the menu is generally very good. Their version of a clucking Russian is as good and attempt at re-creating perfection as I have seen. Worth a visit.“

“I have nothing but fabulous things to say about Mobile Pie Truck. The food is absolutely wonderful. Authentic wood-fired pizza that rivals NY and CT pies, which are already some of the best. “Last week, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Il Villagio. The restaurant was highly recomended to us by my wife's coworker. We were greeted warmly and sat promptly. We had a 6:30 reservation. The service from start to finish was warm, friendly and professional. We started with a crisp tender fried calamari and the roasted beet salad. So many times calamari is a hit or miss. This was an excellent version. The beet salad was tender, earthy and sweet. The crunchy pistacios and orange vinaigrette were a nice touch. My wife ordered Chicken Millanese and I ordered Gnocchi Bolognese. Both were excellent. The chicken was crisp and tender. The arrugula was peppery with a drizzle of lemon and virgin olive oil. Great balance. The Gnocchi was a great choice as there was a chill in the air. My definition of comfort food. Recently I have notice some resturants are going with a cheaper grated cheese, not Il Villagio. The Peccorino was perfectly salty and sharp. During our meal several people came over to check on us including the owner. I told he should be very proud of his staff. This restaurant is doing a great job. The provide quality service, excellent food and a warm friendly staff. It was a 25-30 drive for us. A drive I will be doing again real soon. Thank you to all“

“Their double double burger is so good and their truffle fries are a hit! You will not miss with that :) we order also a pretzel as an entree and it was pretty good, specially the cheese sauce. I love the open patio, but I wish they had the patio umbrellas, so you get a little shadow from the sun. The servers are nice but the service is a little slow. So be patient, when the food arrives is going to be worth it.“

“Number 1 restaurant in Mahopac. I recommend stopping by and grabbing a nice bucket of beer. The buckets are ice cold and have plenty of room for beers; perfect for a nice bucket of beer. They have other stuff too, but the buckets of beer is what keeps me coming back. Get over there now and get yourself a bucket of beer.“

“The steak is one of the best in the area, and best in Putnam county for sure. The salad that accompanied the meal was large and fresh. It appears that they re-heat the items that are served with the dinner, such as the twice baked potatoes and crab cake that was on the Char Steak Oscar, however the sauce was delicious. As for the atmosphere, it is great looking restaurant with a fantastic bar, but there is an unusual smell when you enter the restaurant.“

The waiter charged me for a dinner portion (guess he needed the cash, the place was pretty empty at that time) ended up spending way more than I wanted to. “The food was great. I ordered the pork chop with spinach and roasted potatoes. The food came out hot just the way I like it. My friend ordered the chicken Mona Lisa. I tried my Friends entree and I will say what I tried was fabulous. I love Norca the bartender and she gives wonderful service. Norca makes you feel like you don't want to leave, she is very welcoming and warm. I like to visit this restaurant when Norca is working. When Norca doesn't work I don't show up and neither does my friends. Very nice decor comfortable atmosphere great vibes all the way around. The pizza is also great too. “The new owners are basically doing their best to try to create a little music venue on the weekends. Jungle Love was on tonight and the place was hopping. We've eaten here a couple of times in the food's been good. I was a little disappointed in the chicken scarp as the potatoes were cold in the middle was kind of strange. Otherwise everything there is excellent“

“I took my daughters there for a 7 year old birthday party. It was cool for the kids, and the pizza was good. I would have liked some more game options, especially since they have a sports bar section for adults. They also have an axe throwing setup as well. Part of this place is under renovation. I would definitely go back for an adult night out after renovations are complete. Looks like it may be even more fun.“

“If you want the feel of your neighborhood bar while away visiting West Point, stop at South Gate Tavern. Food was ok, stay away from the friend ravioli. They definitely have cold beer but even better, the conversations w the bartenders. Both made it feel like I was a regular for years. Just remember to bring cash, they don't accept CC but they do have an ATM on site.“
