“I've lived around the corner since before they opened. Not the pizza I've grown up on but everything else is worth every penny. Calzones, wedges, Stromboli (had one tonight) easily feeds 2 hungry people. I am a big guy and even though it would have been hard to finish I did my best. Honestly, there are places near by that may have pizza that older Italian people may prefer but anything else I've tried was mangia belle.“

It took forever to get menus (we had to ask eventually) and it was almost half hour before we got our drinks and placed our order. Even more odd, we never knew who our waiter was. Normally they introduce themselves but I felt like we ordered from two or three different people. The value and quality was great. The amount of food we got for the price was enough to feed more than our table of 5. This is good value spot for big families to get an affordable and quality dinner Overall, not a terrible experience and would try again. If the service had been on par, this would've been a 5 easily.“

The orecchiette was tasty, and the pesto had a nice fresh flavor. The sopressetta and hot honey pizza was a great balance of flavors and a touch of heat. For dessert, we had the banana bread pudding, which was cinnamon-y and cozy.“

“Some restaurants radiate warmth the moment you step inside, and this is one of them. From the seating to the final farewell, every staff member was polite and professional. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, and the pasta was easily one of the best I've ever had.
Oh, and don't miss out on the cocktails! We ordered the ‘Vagabondo’ and the ‘Espresso Martini,’ and both were absolutely delicious.

The only annoying part, and not worth deducting even 1/4 of a star, is the pushy “ we need your entire order right away because everything is made to order” jargon. “Wife and I flew into JFK late one Friday. We were famished , it was 1030 by the time we got to Arthur Ave.. We parked and walked , came upon people eating alfresco. We asked if any place was still serving. The "MAN" Vic asked what we would like, from one of the tables. In no time we had a bottle of Vino Tinto in front of us and people were making us try food they were dining on. I felt like I was at my friends ,' THE PIAZZAS " house.
