“Florentin, a Mediterranean gem on Amsterdam Avenue, understands something essential: that hunger is both physical and aesthetic. Florentin offers the kind of Mediterranean cooking that makes you remember why we gather around tables in the first place.

The Florentin salad arrives like a small rebellion against November chill. The light green shishito peppers—prepared in some novel way the kitchen won’t quite reveal—manage to be both familiar and different. The sea bass is respectfully handled. The steak frites is what steak frites aspires to be in its dreams.

Service here operates with a quiet competence that’s increasingly rare. The staff listens.

I suggested they consider live music—a jazz singer, perhaps someone with Juliet Ewing’s smoky presence. The waitress seemed receptive. Every restaurant is a work in progress, after all. We build our pleasures incrementally, adjusting as we go.

“Had the breakfast burrito 🌯 been wanting to get to this place for a while.

Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was good. The chorizo was the one I went with definitely wasn’t disappointed.

I don’t think it’s worth a far drive but if you’re in the area or it’s not completely out your way it’s definitely worth stopping in for a visit. The place does have seating but not a lot of room. There is a park near by and lots of outdoor seating near the area. That’s what I chose to do.

The breakfast burrito price was amazing especially for nyc the food was good quality and really delicious. The sauce everyone was talking about wasn’t over powering. Matter of fact I wish I had more next time I’ll ask for some on the side felt like I needed an extra pump 😂.

I truly enjoyed this place and I’m sure you guys will also the coffee was mid but it’s ok food makes up for it.

A beautiful Steinway B piano (and stunning pianist Lex Korten on Oct.8, 2023) Make sure if you are a party of 4 or 6 that you can get 2 or 3 tables together in the 3 main long lines of tables, No good option for party of 5. No refunds for persons who cannot make the show, for any reason only a future credit. Even with ear plugs I found the amplification disheartening for such an intimate space, and we were as far from the stage as we could get.“

“HMCC is an incredibly underrated restaurant. Perhaps it’s due to the golf course being a predominant feature of this site, but the Social Kitchen and Bar shouldn’t be disregarded. Why more folks haven’t visited this restaurant is unknown to me. This is at least the fifth meal I’ve had here over the course of two years, and I’m delightfully impressed by the layers of flavors in every dish. The red cabbage coleslaw adds a refreshing break from the deep fried chicken breast that is the crunchy, juicy, star of the sandwich (as it should be). Even more unexpected is the slice of pickled green tomato added in lieu of the typical pickle topping - this seemingly benign addition to the sandwich adds a burst of light vinegar to cut through the richness of the other ingredients and brings it all together. Folks should frequent this spot, as the menu changes with the season and you never know what creative culinary creations the chef will introduce.“

“This location is located in Ridgehill. After a little shopping or after a movie is a good place to go eat. The place is big. It has a good selection and food and drinks, especially their beer selection. Also options for children. Staff was also very pleasant.“

I think because I adjusted my reservation from 2 to 3 people the day of I was seated all the way in the back and not that I have a problem with that, but I felt like the service was not its usual service. Our food took almost an hour to get to us and I don't think it's because the food that we requested was well done as we were told by our waiter, that seems very unusual. I think he wasn't on top of it. “

“Very nice restaurant. Small. A few people for staff, but since the restaurant itself has bought a few tables, that never became a problem. Our server was very friendly. We enjoyed our appetizers and our dinners. I love hot spicy foods, but I must admit, the African spicy sauce was indeed very spicy . The only downside and why it did not get a five star rather four, is that we typically drink Chardonnay, and there were a few listed on the menu, but they had none at all so we had a Sauvignon Blanc.  overall,, a very nice experience.“

“First time at Kee's & it was a great experience. Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. No crowds, easy parking. Food was very good except lobster bisque soup very salty. Raw clams excellent as were the baked clams. Salmon & branzino dishes also excellent. Service was A+“

“Nice little Cafe for breakfast or lunch. Self service counter with limited seating. Coffee is fantastic and they do have gluten free bread for toast to go with omelets or to make sandwiches. I would be careful if you're very sensitive as I'm not sure about cross contamination.“

The staff was great and on top of everything. And the food, the food! So good! Every one of our guests went on and on about the whole evening.
