“I love tacos! Ain't nothing like tacos made from the hands of beautiful Mexican people . So I share with you it was time for lunch decided I want to tacos. I want tacos from a Mexican restaurant. I Googled "tacos in Mount Vernon, New York" and in seconds "Tacos Los dos Compadres" popped up first on my feed! In the image of this beautiful food truck popped up on the screen. I read the reviews they were all 5 stars! They do have a number to call and they even have a Google chat. So I sent a message asking if they were open and it replied back "Yes!" They are located on the busy strip of Lincoln Avenue and parking is challenging. Their food truck is based in front an automotive shop. So you may have find parking. As soon as I walked up to the truck the smell that came out of there was so awesome. I knew that it couldn't go wrong with these tacos. The gentleman who took my order had a really nice big smile and Friendly was ready to take my order. I ordered over a dozen of tacos for myself and my family. I got the chicken, beef brisket and two pork with pineapple. The flavors that was in this tacos was well balanced with onions and cilantro and seasonings. As a garnish, were charred peppers but also charred oversized scallion from the grill. I was intimidated by the size so I thought it was just for looks. I'll be honest I tried to bite it, Lol. It was too big for me! So I peeled the skins and place it into the taco, WOW! It just mad at it more delicious flavor. There also sauces to add to your tacos. I highly recommend you come through and indulge. I'm happy to say I have a place to grab great tacos!“

“Being from southern California, I had high high hopes for this birria and consome and I was not disappointed! A great deal for 3 tacos for $12. Their mulitas were absolutely heavenly and that consome was cooked to perfection I drank the entire thing after dipping my tacos and mulita. We took these to go and sat at a nearby dog park to eat it. There was on line when we went (a Friday at around lunch time) which I was pleasantly surprised by! While we were waiting, another patron eagerly exclaimed that she had been looking for this food truck and wasn't aware that they had moved locations so it's evident this spot is beloved and sought out. Will definitely be returning in the future.“

“This is a very underrated truck in the city. One of the best birria spots I've tried in a while. I tried this place on new years, and it was sooo good, I dragged any of my friends that mentioned anything about food that day. I first got the birria torta, which was a heavenly sandwich, and a great deal for 10$. I also went back for a birria quesadilla, which was also really good! The service was quick both times, and I really appreciate them keeping reasonable prices on new years, with 1 dollar waters and 2 dollar sodas! I can't speak too much about the ambiance because I assume this was a temporary location for new years, but I would follow this truck anywhere. No food pics, food was gone way before I ever thought about taking a picture.“

“I ordered two beef steak quesadillas with the flour taco and those were absolutely fantastic!! Tender bits of steak, and a green chile sauce and a red hot sauce served in small plastic cups to pour all over these heavenly dishes! Enter the Tacos; I want you guys to know that you cannot order just ONE taco, they need to be ordered two at a time. So if you want just ONE taco they won't sell it to you! I ordered two chicken tacos and two steak (carnitas) tacos WITHOUT CILANTRO ! I'm allergic to cilantro. They did a great job of cleaning the stove top before they prepared and heated my food order. Also I told them my wife is allergic to pork, (she's Muslim & it's just easier to tell chefs at these type of establishments that my wife has "allergies" to any pork products. The Tacos were good. Not amazing, but satisfying. I then ordered the chicken fingers which came with a HUGE portion of hot, steamy, French fries! The fries were fried to perfection and the potato flavor was not overpowered by the oil it was fried in. The fries were pretty much perfection. The chicken fingers were square pieces of fried chicken covered in a dark brown bread crumb with some green herbs in the bread crumbs that I could not identify. I didn't like the chicken fingers. They were not what I was expecting. The breading was not tasty and there were short and stubby cuts of flat chicken. I didn't like the looks or the taste. All of this came out to 41$ and some change. I thought overall the food, minus the chicken fingers was fresh- well prepared - and appetizing. The price is a little steep for my pockets. So I probably wouldn't be going here all the time because of pricing alone. Overall the place is very clean and the food appears to be fresh and delicious; but skip the chicken fingers.... “Finally a really delicious taco place in the area. The service was great, the lady at the register was so nice, friendly and helpful. We ordered to take home, had planned on eating inside but there was no heat inside. My wife had Birria Tacos and a Quesabarria, she really enjoyed them both, especially the Tacos. I had the crunchy Taco and Quesadillas, both were very good. The crunchy Taco was so good, this place really knows how to make Tacos. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend trying. Also ordered churros, but didn't try yet.“

“Some of the best tacos I've had on the East coast. These are on par with California and Texas tacos. Most of the tacos in NYC and NY and terrible, but not Los Ferchos. This is a great family run deli, with the whole family helping to make super authentic tacos in the back. The staff is super friendly, and they even have a couple tables inside and outside for you to enjoy your food. They also make homemade ice pops and they have some very niche authentic Mexican food items too like Oaxaca cheese and Mexican desserts. Easily the best tacos in the Hudson Valley, and maybe NY too.“

“After a miscommunication with our reservation time for 15 of us, Eliseo went out of his way to accommodate us as best he could. Dinner was wonderful, everything everyone ordered was delicious. I had the Korean tacos and they were so good. They also make the guac right in front of the table and was delicious, you get to choose if you want spicy or not. Highly recommend this place if you want to indulge in some Mexican food with a Mariachi band that takes requests on a Friday night. “First thing first seamoss blends are great preferably blueberry pineapple, thank me later. The refresher drinks on the sweeter side but still very good.Now the food is interesting I would never guessed to use jackfruit as a substitute but it works nicely. The best option I believe, this is just my opinion you can choose whatever you want, are the tacos. The burrito is good also but the taco is just better for some reason maybe its the shell they use for the taco, its a simple hardshell taco but it’s simplicity allows that cashew creme, kale and jackfruit flavor to really stand out.“

“I love this restaurant I come here for breakfast lunch and dinner I order the carnitas burrito for lunch and dinner and the steak and eggs burrito for breakfast every time it is delicious and fresh. What I appreciate most is that with your burrito they give you the veggies on the side so you can eat them with the burrito and in my opinion it is amazing I frequent this place all the time I highly recommend, the staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant is beautiful. “The Food was incredible . We had the crispy fish and seared fish tacos. So goooddd. We also had guacamole and the corn esquite. 10/10 . Oh and the shrimp tacos has a crispy layer of cheddar in it! Enchiladas are my favorite and every new restaurant I try, I always get it; these are likely the best I've ever had! So much depth and flavor. “Came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Not having food all day and just getting done with the gym, I was going to stuff my face with something. That turned out to be tacos. Conmigo sold a Taco Flight ($42) which came with 8 tacos of your choice of the 9 tacos they offered. I did one of each except for the Impossible. For sure did not disappoint. The Barbacoa and Short Rib were on the dry and greasy side. My favorites were the Mahi-Mahi and Spicy Shrimp. And yes I finished the entire flight and was stuffed.“

The host/server Kayla is so sweet and the food and drinks were quick. The margs are strong & not too sweet, we got strawberry, kiwi strawberry, mandarin, and blood orange to drink. All yummy! “Can't say enough great things about Arcadia! The staff is amazing, the drinks are perfect, and the food is phenomenal! We came in on a Thursday evening and participated in the trivia night competition, which was a great time as well! I had spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, which was delicious with great flavor and chunks of artichoke, and it came with both fried and unfried pita chips - a nice variety. I was recommended the chicken parm sandwich as well, and the recommendation could not have been more spot on. Hands down the best chicken parm sandwich I've ever eaten - flavor was on point, the garlic bread added such a great layer of tastiness, and the fries were cooked to perfection. “Found this random taco place in Harlem, and I thought it was amazing! We tried the tinga taco, barbacoa taco, and the korean bulgogi taco. I liked all three, but my friend didn't find them to be his favorites. Customer service was excellent. There aren't too many places to sit, but if you go at an off time, it is pretty easy to be able to hang out there. They had some great sodas there too.“

The waitresses seem to be native Spanish speakers, so you may have to slow down your English a little bit. One star off because the music was too loud, and there was some gristle in the steak. My favorites out of everything we ordered was the dulce de leche french toast and the tacos al pastor! They are so good!
