“Cajun food in New Paltz NY? I was skeptical, but what we had was terrific! That night the only exception was the jambalaya which seemed overcooked and dry. But everything else was great, the five of us had a wide variety of appetizers and entrees. Too full for dessert. Next time! Easy parking, inside and outside deck seating options.“

“It’s tucked away down a narrow side street. Understated decor, small and intimate. Avoid wearing big coats and keep your voice down. There’s an outdoor patio as well (weather permitting), if you don’t mind the busier outdoor environment.
I’ve been eating here for over 20 years, and 3 girlfriends. When we say we want Sushi, we mean Hokkaido. My child’s first Sushi meal was here.
It can be very busy on weekends, especially during pleasant weather. I recommend you call ahead. A very large menu too, so, I recommend you study the menu online and have your ideas ready. They’ll help you with suggestions, but that means you’re slowing us all down.
Eating alone, then maybe eat at the bar and enjoy watching the sushi get maid.
I recommend the pan fried gyoza, edamame and string beans. I love the spicy rolls, eel and Monster roll. Take out available. Lots of fans order their food for pick up. But, I don’t like to transport my fresh food.
Had my first warm Sake here. Loved it.
And, above all, service is always excellent and very nice clientele vibe.“

“A Hidden Gem Nestled in the Heart of the Hudson Valley!
Robibero Winery is more than just a vineyard – it’s an unforgettable experience for anyone seeking the perfect blend of fine wine, stunning views, and unmatched hospitality. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by rolling hills and rows of vines that seem to stretch to the horizon, creating a serene backdrop for a truly idyllic day.
The tasting room is cozy yet modern, and the staff is as warm as the wine is exquisite. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just beginning your journey into the world of wine, the knowledgeable team at Robibero is there to guide you, making the experience personal and immersive. Each wine is a revelation, but their bold reds and crisp whites are standouts.
What makes Robibero Winery stand out, though, is not just the wine, but the attention to detail in every aspect of the visit. The outdoor seating area, complete with fire pits and Adirondack chairs, offers breathtaking views of the vineyards, making it the perfect spot to sip your wine while watching the sun set over the Hudson Valley. It’s not hard to lose track of time here.
On weekends, they have live music and food trucks, adding a lively energy to the relaxing vineyard ambiance. And for pet lovers, Robibero is dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friends to enjoy the day with you.
In short, Robibero Winery is the complete package: outstanding wine, a beautiful setting, and a team that makes you feel like family. Whether you’re looking for a romantic afternoon getaway, a fun day with friends, or a place to unwind and take in nature's beauty, this winery is a must-visit. I can't recommend it highly enough – five stars all the way!“

“delicious food!!! This location is still take out only (staffing shortage), but it hasn't diminished the quality of their food or friendly service one bit. They use Carry Out Kings for local delivery.“

“I know things have to change...but seeing how the place was virtually stripped of all its character from the days of Steve's ownership just broke my old New Paltzian townie heart. I was glad to see old favorites on the menu and maybe some new ones...it wasn't really the same though. I was sad not to see the wooden booths where one *thought* private conversations could be had and the old wooden bar that had so many great moments of community shared. And the local art work too...gone. Not sure if I will return...I'll have to hold onto my memories, though perhaps I will convince my home grrrllzz to go and make new ones with me when I come to town. I am grateful that the name hasn't changed-it was hard enough when it changed from The Gay Nineties Bistro to just *The Bistro*. I am also glad there are menu items on there I know and love. I wish the owners good luck and longevity. It's really an institution and I'd hate to see it fall to ruin like so many of my cherished places of the past.“

“My husband and I have been dinning at this restaurant over 2 years…
The food is always delicious, We have tried different chicken, beef and lamb dishes and never disappointed.
The samosas are the best ! With the 3 sauces!
I love that you can bring your own bottle of wine for not charge and have an amazing date.
I recommend that if you go in a group, you order all the dishes to share. They serve a lot, and you'll surely have leftovers to eat the next day.
I recommend the beef and chicken vindaloo, the Biryanis, the tandoori, and my favorite the Lamb Bhuna.
I have not try a bad dish 😅
Bread the Nan and the Poori (I have not try others)
Comfy food, always good before go home to a movie night.
And finally the staff is always the super welcoming. Not complain about 🙌🏻“
