“I returned last week to the rooftop brunch, there isn't much variety on the food menu, I don't like drinking the mimosa in the jars they give out ?, the atmosphere was pleasant and so was the attention of the waitress. Her name is Genesis.I loved. I was on the 2nd floor, although the air conditioning is not felt much, a group of 18 people paid 65 each for brunch. Good atmosphere, very varied music.“
“I've never wanted to give a business 5 stars more than Leche y Miel. They generously hooked me up with a meal several times while I drove for Amazon in the area. I love the food the staff and the spirit of the team here. They have been the best part of my job. Alda said the food was on the house and I replied "you just made my...Life!" I strongly recommend checking them out if youre in the riverdale area.“
“Food was hot and delicious. In an ideal world I would have liked a bit more separation between all the people coming in to pick up food vs dining in. I dined in with my family and had a great time, food was fresh.I liked the paintings on the wall. I would go back again.Parking: Parking meters on block in front of location.“
“Good place...I would come back. I got some shrimp and octopus salad in a vinaigrette to stay. Very fresh... very good, served in a bowl on top of some chopped lettuce with a slice of lime. Some of the workers here don't really speak any English... but there was someone here who was able to help me even though my Spanish kind of sucks. A delivery of food from one of the restaurant's vendors was coming in while I was standing at the counter to order, and I had to keep moving out of the guy's way as he went in and out of the store with the hand truck. A bit of a pain, but I forgive them since they've got a fully functional and clean All-Gender Bathroom. The stuff here ain't cheap, but it's quality.“

“Got a crazy craving for Dominican food this morning, ordered their Tres Golpes, SonCocho, with rice and , pollo empanadas, bottom line, very delicious. Didn’t disappoint, I felt like I was in heaven. Will definitely order again in the future. Thank you so much ?“
“So I decided to visit this restaurant because it has good reviews and the menu looked good. When I first arrived here, I was a little doubtful of my decision to come, as this restaurant is quite simple and easy to miss. I decided to go in after seeing several other people come in. I ordered chicken chicharrones with tostones and was told it would be a short wait for them to be made fresh. It wasn't a long wait and I saw the very generous portions of food I was getting. I also ordered a large chicken soup. The price was very fair and everyone who worked in the restaurant was very friendly. Being able to speak Spanish is an advantage but not completely necessary. Let me tell you something, the delicious fragrance emanating from the food was almost impossible to resist on the way home, and it made my car smell better than any air freshener. The soup was ridiculously delicious, filled with chicken and vegetables and just amazing. Even my cats couldn't resist the aroma and taste of chicken. The chicharrones were a little overcooked but still incredibly delicious. I'm so glad I found this place and I could really go here every day. I recommend anyone to stop by here and enjoy their delicious food.Parking: It's a little difficult to find parking right in front of this place, but there is ample free parking on the side streets.“
“I had the chicharron de pollo with white rice and red beans and they were really tasty! ?? Next time I need to ask for lime for the chicharron de pollo and more of those little dressing things that come with the combo. Idk what it was but the creamier one tastes really good with the tostones and the thinner dressing elevated the flavor of the red beans!“
“Saw the restaurant on YouTube and decided to go. Not sure what I got. But it was amazing. The beans were excellent, full of flavor and not over powering. The pork was nice and tender, used a plastic knife to cut easily. The place itself is honestly a questionable place, hole in the wall place. However the chef Anita and the server (seen on YouTube) were amazing. $20 for two people. Salad (not pictures) was also included“
“There were lots of cars outside which I knew was a good sign! It's a very casual Dominican takeout spot near La Guardia Airport and a friend and I were looking for a quick breakfast. They had pre-made food at a hot bar behind the counter. Staff was friendly and we were served quickly. Food was hot and delicious!“
“Listen here and listen clear: HANDS DOWN THEE BEST FRITURA ANYWHERE ON THIS SIDE OF THE PLANET!!! I REFUSE to eat orejitas from ANYWHERE else!!! Them thangz feel as soft as baby butt!!! Feel like they boil them things for a week in a giant pot before frying them!!! ???? Buy without hesitation! Everything here is wonderful! ?“
“La Casa de Frida emerges as a stellar happy hour destination, perfect for those seeking a swift libation. Boasting two distinct happy hour specials--running from 12 to 5 and another from 5 to 7--the spot delivers not only variety but also affordability. While the drink specials shine, the culinary offerings fall short of the happy hour pricing ethos, presenting full-priced wings, quesadillas, and tacos. Despite this culinary mismatch, the prospect of returning solely for the libations remains alluring. La Casa de Frida excels in crafting drinks that tantalize the taste buds, promising a delightful journey to tipsiness by the third round.Noteworthy is the commendable service; during our visit, my companion and I decided to explore a special $30 shot of Patron Alto, intrigued by its novelty. To our surprise, the establishment went above and beyond by generously gifting us another expensive shot on the house, acknowledging our curiosity and enhancing our overall experience. This gesture adds an extra layer of satisfaction to the visit, creating a positive memory that encourages a return for both the drinks and the exceptional service.“

“Best food in the 161 court area of the Bronx. Hands down. I also used them to cater my holiday party and the food was Top notch !!! Also the everyday food menu is extensive so there's something for everyone and the sandwich guy is official !!“
“The food is ok. The only plate that has really stood out to me when it comes to taste is their “pollo al cadero”. I’ve been here on numerous occasions. Trying a different plate each time. The price for the order I would say is a bit on the high end when compared to prices and quantity of other near by establishments. Their pork meat is usually on the undercooked side, the boneless chicken breast is very bland. With that being said owner and employees are awesome great attention to service, and always seem eager to please. If you do visit try the “pollo al caldero” you will not be disappointed.“
“It's often a challenge to find vegan options. Mamacita's didn't let me down. The veggie fajitas were easily customized and de-LICIOUS...! The strawberry margarita was fire too...! Thank you Daniella, Cameron, and PK for the hospitality...!!!“
“This is a typical Dominican restaurant in the Bronx, however, there food is slightly superior to those in the neighborhood. The chicken and beans taste better then most sorounding spots and they have great specials. The prices have hiked a bit, but with inflation it is expected. This restaurant has been around for a while and I hope it keeps thriving for many more years to come.#dominican #food #love #chicken #beans #lunch #breakfast #los3golpesVegetarian options: They have rice, beans, vegetables, plantains, and other options.Kid-friendliness: Everyone is welcome including kidsWheelchair accessibility: This is on the first floor and although the door does not open automatically, a person can come in with no issues.“
“The chicharron de pollo sin hueso empanizado is amazing. It doesnt taste like your cliche common dominican restaurant seasoning. This taste more home made. It taste like your abuela in the campo made it where every bite you take is full of flavor. Im glad i ordered it because im always skeptical when it comes to this dish, easy to make but very easy to mess up. The chicken was tender and juicy, i highly recommend you dont think twice about ordering this you cant go wrong and my family of four ate. Best 18 dollars ive spent this week.“
“Good service, good prices, personalized attention. Clean tidy place. If they don't have what you are looking for ready, they prepare it for you on the spot. I ordered pork chops with rice and beans, delicious. Reasonable prices. Crispy and tasty tostones. I recommend it.“
“As of recently I started to go to this place.I work in midtown and where I work food is overpriced and very mediocre and where I live I can't stomach those Crown and Kennedy Fried Chicken places which seems to be the only places open late nights so as I get off that 1 train before I continue my trip over the bridge to the Bronx I checked this place out, as a friend of mine who live around the area reccomend. Its a bit rinky dinky and old looking inside but I guess that's part of the charm lol.The chicken is made right before your eyes on the premises and it tastes just like your mom's chicken, well seasoned, flavorful, juicy, crispy and I love their yellow Spanish rice.It can be kind of loud with the spanish music blaring and the ladies tend to be a bit chatty amongst each other but they still do their best to give prompt service, prices are good too. I love the local dominican vibe of this place,it's not trying to be a trendy eatery and I'm fine with that,as long as the food taste great which it does.“
“The food is delicious, it has a very Creole flavor. What I don't like are some employees who are so annoying and rude when it comes to serving, they talk to you as if you are ordering and it is not my perception. In truth, they are very unfriendly. Please improve the customer service. client and everything is perfect ?✨ it costs nothing to speak cordially“
“Im a weekly client here, this lil spot always comes thru on those late work days, rice and beans, roasted chicken, soups, u name it... as close to home cooked as u will ever get, staff is quick and good size portionsVegetarian options: Steamed veggies, rice and beans, soups, spagettis, plantains(green, yellow)“
“I had breakfast in this restaurant for 20 years they have the best mangu, the best coffee and the food is fresh and delicious. the staff is amazing. I was there today after haven't been in the neighborhood for few years and still amazing highly recommend“
“Their Seafood Soup is at another Level! It's reasonably priced and extremely Delicious Soup! You may want to Order a Large Seafood Soup Because it's delicious ?Parking: Good LUCK finding Parking...But if you do....Hold on to it....lol“
“Excellent food and friendly staff, including owners. They go out of their way to accommodate you. The prices are great for the quality and quantity of food you're served. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for Spanish / Dominican cuisine. Must try the shrimp mofongo. The best!“
“Although, I make it a priority not to try new restaurants once I find my favorite for select foods, my review isn't about the food it is about the shakes. AGAIN, I have never tried their food and therefore, my review isn't based on that. I love their shakes. They are right next door to my gym and so right after I am done with my workout, I stop in to get a protein shake. I normally get almond milk, banana, chocolate protein and ice. I loveeee the taste and I love that they make it fresh ! It's so yummy !“
“I was waiting out front at the bus stop for the bus.didnt go in today. I went in there before however and its good. Good food. Calm staff. There is a thing that goes on here where customers will buy you food for free if you ask politely. Get corn on the cob and some chicken. It taste good. Better than sex if you are having sex with a supermodel.“
“I've been here twice and so far I've liked the ambience. The service is exceptional, the welcoming owner provided us food samples (drinks, desserts, and meats) for my partner and I to try and let me say... they were all delicious!! Totally recommend this restaurant, and we'll definitely be coming back soon.“
“When I 1st stepped in the door, I knew the food was going to be great because I had to get a ticket to order. I had the chicken stew with rice & beans and Dominican potato salad. This meal was super fulfilling throughout the day. The staff was friendly, polite, and I loved everything about them. This is a must go for all cultures wanting to experience great Spanish food! So whether you're passing by on the i95 or Bruckner, you gotta go here for reasonably priced, great Spanish food!“
“I ‘vé been having Lunch there for the last 2 years, quality of food is very good, is located in a popular neighborhood in Bronx, you can be starving and the food is already there , just ask for what you want, I love the variety of food, every day there’s somenthing different. If you like a particular food, and you have time , they can cook it for you. They also have Empanadas. Deserts, if you look at the kitchen is neat, those Chef cook the best Sancocho and red beans in the Bronx. Victor , Junior, Judy and Nelly are always willing to help, I usually see them in the morning shift, But the whole team is great, Go now, you won’t regret it.Tell them I sent you, so they give you a discount. Vegetarian options: Salad, Eggplant, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and you can ask and they will try their best to provide what you need.“
“Ordered from the Yelp App twice for delivery. First time, delivered on schedule. I enjoyed the food, my companions didn't. Second order, delivered on time. I again enjoyed the food and this time so did the others. No complaints here. La Reina has been around a few years, and appears to be holding their own amongst the other neighborhood Latin restaurants within the area. Our orders have been tasty and seem to be freshly made. We haven't dined in, so uncertain if that's an option. Driving by, their inside seems tiny, though their outward appearance is rustic and inviting. It is important to note, food-wise we are not in The Heights where full on authenticity is prevalent. Having this Latin restaurant as an option in the area allows us the opportunity to order from here again.“
“I ordered from this restaurant tonight and it was extremely delicious. I had the chicken with queso frito and tostones. The chicken was perfectly cooked and tasty. The tostones were soft and full of flavor. The queso frito was delicious and golden. The portion size was very generous and the lemon juice was outstanding. I will definitely order from here again soon.“
“(Translated by Google) Good service and not to mention the food, I think it was my mother who prepared it, delicious seasoning, excellent food, excellent potato salad ? I adore it hihi(Original)Buen servicio y de la comida ni hablar , pienso que fue mi madre que la preparo rico sazón, excelente comida excelente ensalada ? de papas la adoro jiji“
“I must say this Hass to be one of the best places in all of White Plains, New York. I highly recommend this place. I want authentic food from my families country and this place gave it to me. My Dominican breakfast clearly was the best I’ve ever had in a long time and I make a damn good breakfast. Thank you very much. Everyone in the location. It was a great pleasure being here in this beautiful atmosphere.“
