My son and I have been ordering from Shah's 2 - 3 times a week for the past 8 months because the restaurant never fails. My son orders the meat combo and I order either the falafel or fish platter. Both of us order everything: white, hot, and barbecue sauce; chick peas and black beans. In addition to the cukes and tomatoes, customers can also add olives and pickled red cabbage on their meal!! Tiebah and Thaliah are always welcoming, and always remember our names and our orders. We are never disappointed!!!“

“Compared to other fried chicken joints this one is pretty good. The chicken was fried to perfection with the right amount of crispiness. It also warms up well. At first I didn't like the biscuits but they also warmed up well and tasted much better ths next day. They were moist and buttery. The corn in the cob was juicy. The beef patties were not good. They tasted like they were deep fried and old. Guess that's why a beef patty should not be ordered from a fried chicken fast food chain. Overall, the food and service were good.“

“This place is such a gem! Used to live super close but now it’s a little bit of a trek but absolutely worth it. I have tried most of the menu and everything is always great and fresh. During this visit I opted for the combination pita sandwich (shawarma and falafel). I also highly recommend the spinach pie, lentil soup and Jerusalem falafel sandwich (a vegetarian option stuffed with all kinds of delicious goodies). Owner is warm and friendly, always makes us feel so welcome. Prices are great! Only drawback is there isn’t too much seating but when the weather is nice there are a few tables outside (pict so you can see). Highly, highly recommend!“

The only thing I dislike is when I get a salty portion of the dish and I don’t expect it I end up not eating cause I get diarrhea when it’s too salty. So I hope and pray when I stop by they have them pork feet stew. The pork feet stew is perfectly seasoned. I don’t know why I like it a lot. lots of people coming in and out; additionally a ton of ubereats / grubhub orders- but the service is quick! a sweet old korean couple run this spot with two other gentlemen manning the fryer where they fry the fish fresh.

their seafood deluxe combo is solid: fried shrimp, whiting fish (i subbed flounder for $1.75 more), imitation crab sticks, and scallop cakes. you have the option of fries or rice; their veggie rice is nice.

if you’re taking it to go, make sure to ask for some sauces on the side!

i need to try their chicken next time, but everyone that came in got seafood! they take card but cash is preferred.“
