“Such a great place, we go every year after we get our Christmas tree, nice warm days we walk across to the beach/water and take in the views. The food is great, service is great also. The restaurant is split with a bar side with TVs for more casual dining, or the dining room side. Great menu selection and specials are always good too!“

Last night, at about a few minutes to 8pm, which is closing time, I stopped and the owners took great care of us. Anywhere else and typically you would get “sorry, it’s closing crime!” This was not the case at Chenzas Twisted Tacos! They fired up the grill, fryer, and whatever else to accommodate my family and I. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and the place was immaculate. The owners took great care of us and treated us like family. We will definitely be back!“

“I can not tell you how what I felt walking into this place with a nostalgic feel of the country and a mom and pops feel shop cozy and calm. Stress free. My coworker and I ordered a Italian on a roll. Wanted a hero but they were sold out. You know what they did? Packed the roll so big it made up for what we wanted and it was one of the best we ever ate. God bless you and the sweet woman back there. I hope we will be out there more to get more from you. “As a starter, we opted for the Chicken and Lemongrass dumplings, and let me tell you, they were absolutely divine! They're delicately steamed and served in a zesty ginger glaze, accompanied by a Thai dipping sauce. They're so delicious, you don't even need the dip! The marinated filet mignon steak tips also never fail to impress – they're consistently tender and bursting with flavor, making them a must-have every time we dine here. As for the main course, we invariably choose the baby back ribs. Good ribs are hard to come by in New York, but this spot has by far the best ones on the North Fork! The prices are reasonable, the cocktails consistently deliver on flavor, and the service is consistently excellent... all in all, just exceptional across the board.“

“This is up there for best meal I've had. For appetizers we got a dozen of the East coast oysters which were very fresh and sweet, The Naughty Blu was very good and, when asked, got a generous amount of extra blue cheese olives, the Apple Bread Pudding was amazing and a decent size. But the star of the meal was the Local Flounder Francaise. The fish was flaky and well seasoned, the veggies were perfectly cooked and the beurre blanc sauce was nice and rich. Overall, *french kiss*. Giving 4 stars though because, while our server was nice and attentive, they didn't know whether one dessert had nuts in it or not, which one person in our party was allergic to. Luckily, before she ate it we luckily caught it in time. But with nut allergies being so serious and common you should know what does or does not have nuts in it.“

“Love lane kitchen is a staple of Mattituck like Love Lane itself. Great food, cocktails, atmosphere, and service. Prices are fair. Unfortunately, this place like the rest of Love Lane becomes horribly overcrowded with tourists over the summer or weekends in pumpkin season. As a small restaurant, it gets CHAOTIC and completely ruins the experience if you try to sit down for a meal during these times. Rule of thumb - don't go in the summer or on weekends!“

“What an adorable spot! The servers were very kind to allow us outside seating and turned the lights on for us. Our server was super helpful and cheery and enjoyed the night with us. The seafood penne a la vodka had plenty of lobster in it and they were kind enough to oblige our request for a different sauce for the steak. The merengue key lime was also delish! I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews, such a nice gem in Hampton Bays!“

“The Ribs were amazing! They’re consistent with each rib serving and they age them to its precise time when the tenderness is supreme and the taste has fully seeped into the bone. Therefore creating a chemical reaction that repels the meat from the bone, hence what we all love and know… the meat falling right off. Service is great. 10/10 experience!“

Can't wait till they put the fireplace on in the winter. I I was surprised that it wasn't crowded, but I am realizing that I don't think everyone knows about this place. “Truly a hidden gem. Being a native North-forker, this is a great addition to local cuisine. The food, the setting and service are outstanding and worth every penny. Having eaten here several times, every meal (the beef bourgeoned, duck and penne ala vodka) has been outstanding. One note of criticism that hopefully ownership will hear, the menu says "crispy half duck", which one would assume means a "half duck" that includes breast, thigh and leg all in one piece. What I got was two leg quarters, or the back half of the duck leaving me to think the chef was saving the breast meat for something else. While it was delicious, I felt gipped, and if the server had told me "no breast meat" I would have ordered something else. So maybe something to think about for the future........“

“Nice little sandwich shop in Mattituck. We hit this place before going to a couple wineries nearby. The woman behind the counter was quite nice and told us about her few favorite sandwiches. We ordered fries, the game day, and Charlie's brother in law. Everything was tasty and fresh. The game day was delicious but could have used more sauce and honestly a little less chicken. Charlie's brother in law was perfect. Nice and lite. Fries had great seasoning/batter but unfortunately stuck together a bit. Will return!“

“My husband and I were getting desperate to find an interesting restaurant in the town of Southampton that didn't charge $31 for a plain Caesar salad and yet had good food and ambience. T-Bar surpassed our wishes to the point that we ate there 3 times during our month vacation in Southampton. The meatballs were superlative and the fish dishes unparalled. “This is actually called Tiki Joe's, it stopped being the Beach Hutt a few years back. Google, if you are reading this, please update your map. It's a great addition to a beautiful beach. Tiki Joe's has a restaurant, ice cream stand, beach shop, bar and live bands at night. There is plenty of seating and parking but you need to pay to park if you come before 5 pm during the summer. The only down side are the bathrooms. Only 2 stalls and one sink for the women, which is challenging for a place with a bar! Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.“

“I have chased authentic Irish eateries from Manhattan to Montauk. For eastern suffolk this feel is pretty authentic. Food is good and closest your get to authentic that far east. Service could be better. I've been there early with no rush and when they are busy and service is just slow and forgetful. I'd recommend mgmt consider bringing sessions to the environment.“

“We first visited Sophie's about 10 years ago-we were not impressed. Mostly fried food served in styrofoam plates and uncomfortable high-top tables. This past fall, we visited Sophie's again (first time in 10 years). WOW-what an improvement! Delicious marinated steak, fantastic clams-on real plates! Beautifully decorated, comfortable dining table and chairs, friendly staff-great food and drinks. We have returned several times since-always satisfied with our dining experience!!
