“It's my first time visiting this location and I like the design of the space when I first walked in. And then I was welcomed by friendly staff, and even got a special treat because they were closing early. I also noticed that the store was pretty clean. Will definitely come to visit again!“
“I almost didn’t go because of these dramatic reviews. It’s completely fine, there’s plenty of tables, I visited at 3pm on a Saturday and had no issue finding a seat for two. No, your family of 6 can’t sit down in this restaurant. If you’re travelling solo or in a pair you’re fine.“
“The employee named “Rad” was awesome! I ordered a combo drink that made no sense by accident. Instead of just assembling my order, he asked me “Are you sure about that?” Oh I’m so glad he stopped me from paying for a really bad-tasting drink. Excellent guy! And other employees were friendly, too.“
“Came here post spin class to refuel, since I had some Starbucks credit to use. I ordered the usual Iced Matcha Latte and a simple plain bagel w cream cheese for some post workout carbs. The bev was slightly sweetened bc that's how their matcha powder comes lol I also had the staff toast my bagel and I enjoyed my combo by a window seat.
I had a decent experience here - staff was super friendly, even complimented my perfume lol - and they even wrote a cute note on my bev! :) Plenty of seating at this location and staff kindly swept the floors, so the establishment is kept tidy.“
“This Starbucks is right across from our hotel and down the street from Time Square. It’s very convenient for us to go here especially since the coffee at our hotel was not good. They get pretty busy here at times and it seems like they have a decent system going to get everyone’s order out as quickly as possible. The lady Liz is the life of the party and helps to get things moving.“
“We stopped at this Starbucks on York at 71st after a doctor appointment at HSS around the corner.
It is very spacious and still cozy. Lots of comfortable seating but we still had to wait as it was busy. Got a cappuccino and a double chocolate brownie. Both were really good.
Nice big windows on the streets so very bright. A great place to hang out for a while.
We will definitely go again when at the hospital.“
“So I’ve been coming around every other weekend bc I have a job site I service.
Ngl, Gabriel’s nonchalant & cool energy is what I need when I come in.
I definitely value their vibe because the tired eyes behind my glasses wants to see peace not hyper energy.
Also! -Thanks for prepping my two croissants & americano, man. I appreciate the way you starting my day 😎😌🔥“
“Amazing Barista’s. Kadi the woman who took my order is super sweet! I appreciate everyone of them. Lots of seating. I mean a lot of seating. Super quiet at 1pm on a weekday. Great to stop and get some work done. WiFi worked as it should. Bathrooms were sparkling.“
“As a student nearby, my favorite place to hang out after school! Staff is super friendly and positive. I come here every morning and frequently after school. My only complaint as a student is that kids from other schools are commonly disruptive and loud, filming videos, and just causing scenes, which can be distracting at times. Otherwise, no complaints!“
“I’ve been to many Starbucks locations, but this one truly stands out and it has nothing to do with the coffee.
Bryan, one of the baristas, completely changes the experience. He’s incredibly kind and genuinely lively, but in a way that feels natural and never over-the-top or forced. You can tell he just has that rare ability to lift people up simply by being himself.
And Madi at the register deserves just as much recognition. She is warm, welcoming, and effortlessly makes every interaction feel personal. From the moment you walk in, she sets the tone with kindness and attentiveness that doesn’t go unnoticed.
Being so close to a hospital and several health offices, this location sees a lot of people who may be stressed, tired, or going through difficult moments. That’s what makes their presence even more meaningful, it’s refreshing to encounter people who bring such positive, grounding energy into the space.
It’s easy to come here for coffee, but it’s the staff, especially Bryan and Madi that keeps people coming back.“
“I spent the day walking around the northern part of Roosevelt island looking at the sites.
I took the tram from Manhattan to the Island.
From the tram, I walked up the west side and found Starbucks just a short walk from the tram.
It is on the corner of a building so easy to find. Tables outside and inside. I stopped here twice today. First stop I got an Americano. It was made just right. Later in the day, I stopped in again and had an iced coffee. It was very hot out so this one really hit the spot.
Nice friendly staff and my orders came out quickly.“
“The City of New York, often called New York City or simply New York, is the most populous city in the United States. Located at the southern tip of the State of New York, the city is the center of the New York metropolitan area, one of the most populous urban agglomerations in the world. A global power city, New York City exerts a significant impact upon commerce, finance, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education, and entertainment, its fast pace defining the term New York minute. Home to the headquarters of the United Nations, New York is an important center for international diplomacy and has been described as the cultural and financial capital of the world.“
“With so many Starbucks around town, this one really stands out. The staff are fantastic, friendly, welcoming, and on top of everything. The coffee is exactly what you expect, but the vibe here is what makes it special. It is a genuinely nice place to spend a few minutes. Definitely worth marking as a favorite in the Starbucks app.“
“This is a great place! I love the employees, the refreshing drinks, delicious chocolate chip cookies, variety of coffee that is ground just as you want it. So many pluses! This place is like that extra room you need, a 2nd living room where you can relax and enjoy simple pleasures.“
“I spent the day looking around the west side to the Hudson. On my way home, I stopped at this Starbucks which is on 49th street between 8-9th streets. It overlooks a great open plaza, Urban Plaza at Worldwide Plaza.
There is a Pl seating inside all around the windows. Service counter in the middle.
Service people were very pleasant and efficient. I ordered a Coconut Lemonade Refresher. It was very delicious and really hit the spot on a hot day.“
“Beautiful place, everything is great as always. I just wanted to make a special mention about one of the baristas. This isn’t my first or second time coming here, and every time I come, she’s always there. I don’t know her name, but I believe it might start with a V, and I think she works the night shift. She’s blonde, and beyond being very pretty, she’s incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. She’s always smiling, communicates really well, listens carefully, and truly makes the experience even better. Great service overall definitely one of the reasons I enjoy coming back.“
“I stopped by this Starbucks expecting the usual, but it felt a bit more elevated than average. The space was clean, well-organized, and surprisingly calm given the busy Financial District. My coffee came out fast and tasted consistent, which is exactly what I rely on here. It’s a solid place to recharge, check emails, or just people-watch through the window. Nothing overly fancy, but it delivers exactly what you want every time.“
“Although it’s connected to the subway line, this location is not so crowded. But I saw most of ppl ordered throughout app.
Quite a big space and good vibes.
I’m coming back here soon.
one restroom only with codes.“
“Caitlyn and pareece NEEDS A PROMOTION & RAISE ASAP LIKE THOSE TWO WORKERS I SEEN THEM HANDLE over 20 customers in under 6 mins !!! Maybe it was less than 6 mins I’ve never been soooo amazed in my entire life ! The way they multitask and spoke to all of their customers making sure everyone left with a smile was awesome ! 🥰🙌🏻 I’ve went into over 25 Starbucks locations in manhattan and this location is the greatest from the employees, drinks, food, etc every employee here has great positive energy and I love itttttt ❣❣❣❣ thank you guys for the kind words you say every day“
“I visited Starbucks Coffee Company in New York and had a great experience. The coffee was rich, smooth, and consistently well-made, with plenty of options to choose from. The space was comfortable and inviting, perfect for a quick stop or a longer break. The staff was friendly and efficient, making everything easy and enjoyable. Everything felt reliable and satisfying. Starbucks Coffee Company is definitely a spot I’ll return to for a solid coffee experience.“
“I've gone to so many Starbucks stores over the years, but this one stands out to me. The employees are so kind and they work fast. I'm always surprised when they apologize for a drink taking five minutes, while in other stores I rarely get apologies while the drinks take much longer. Overall, great staff!“
“Location, Location, Location - Five stars for being able to have my standard three shot medium capachino and a coffee cake at midnight watching out on Times Square. Have to admit, it being the onset of the coronavirus pandemic - a Times Square nearly void if tourests, and lightly populated by begers and police officers - made my visit - and watching out the window - all the more surreal...
Two years later, the risks of covid have subsided, but enjoying a cappuccino watching the now crowded Times Square at midnight is just as much fun!
Six years since my original review - it's a crowded city now, and Time's Square Starbucks is still my near-midnight coffee sanctuary.“
“I’ve been to many Starbucks locations around New York, but I really enjoyed my experience today at the 6th Ave location between 39th and 40th St.
Tim was very friendly, welcoming, and had a great smile. He greeted me, asked about my order, and was very attentive. I ordered my usual espresso with cold foam. The drink was made very nicely, and the cup was filled well, which I really appreciated.
It was also a very hot day today, so I went back and asked Tim for some ice water. He greeted me with a smile and was happy to help. It was a small thing, but his kindness and excellent service really stood out to me.
I’ve had the same drink at other Starbucks locations, but today it felt different because of the care Tim put into his service.
The location is also great, right in the heart of Midtown and close to popular attractions like Bryant Park and Times Square. It’s a convenient place to stop for a coffee while exploring New York.
Thank you, Tim, for the wonderful service, your kindness, and your friendly smile. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be happy to come back.“
“I went to another Starbucks and they didn’t make my drink correctly. I came to this location for them to remake it. Kim was amazing. She made both my friend and I’s drink over to perfection! She wrote really sweet messages on our cups and made sure we were satisfied before we left. Wonderful experience!“
“The baristas at this location are so sweet! I asked for recommendations and they were extremely nice and I got the Iced Horchata Shaken Espresso which was delicious.
This location was clean and once again, shout out to the staff, you guys rock 🩷🫶🏽“
“just wanted to share a quick note about a really positive experience I had yesterday
Due to system guide error, I accidentally placed my order to a store which is difficult to find. I ended up walking for nearly 40 minutes and spent close to an hour trying to find the store. Eventually, I stopped by another nearby location- this store, where a barista named Elijah helped me.
Elijah was incredibly kind and patient while explaining where the original store was located. When he realized that I had already spent almost an hour trying to find my drink, he went out of his way to help. He spoke with his supervisor and kindly made the drink for me.
His kindness and genuine willingness to help really meant a lot to me. What started out as a frustrating experience turned into a really positive one because of him. Employees like Elijah are a big part of why people enjoy coming to Starbucks.
I’m very grateful for his help and hope that Elijah can be recognized for his outstanding customer service. Employees like Elijah are the reason customers continue to choose Starbucks, and his kindness truly made my day.“
“I go to Starbucks frequently, but this was my first time having surprisingly good customer service. All of the staff are very friendly. Although the location is very small, the service was very quick. Seating was available, which is always a plus.“
“Very busy Starbucks. Nothing unique, I would have appreciated the tables and counters to be cleaner.
In all honesty though, they appeared to be inundated with to-go orders from tge local businesses and residents.
Other than that, the employees were helpful and polite.“
“These two girls in there are so amazing an treat everyone with the up most respect. This is a place of business but you would think its an upper scale Cafe the way the girls treat there customers I find them absolutely devi e co.e here have a coffee an t
Some conversation you won't be disappointed“
“I can’t say enough good things about this Starbucks! The team here is phenomenal — incredibly welcoming, positive, and attentive. Service is consistently fast and organized, even during busy times. They make you feel appreciated the moment you walk in. Truly top-tier customer service!“
“7/4/2026
The management is incredible (i believe his name was Amado?). Super friendly, helpful, helped me out with refills as I studied here for 8+ hours to make sure my tea was hot. 10/10 one of my fav places close to work.
Only thing is, only one plug for the whole cafe, so keep that in mind. But its relatively quiet to sit in so you should be fine. Big bathroom.“
“I work relatively close to this Starbucks and have been on many occasions. Shoutout to the amazing staff who ALWAYS greets you when you walk in the door, and are always in such a good mood despite how busy it may be. Probably my favorite Starbucks in NYC. I usually order on the App beforehand. It’s always ready and waiting for me as soon as I arrive. This team deserves recognition for what they’re doing here!“
“I have lots of love for this place! Always super reliable and they have great hours, which makes it easy for me to get work done over the weekends. Everyone is genuinely so kind and they make an effort to remember you. They've been faring well despite the extra foot traffic due to closures of other locations in the area.
I do wish there was more seating available, and was shocked that there is no longer a bathroom open to the public. Would love to see the bathroom reopened!“
“Clean and friendly location. Everyone is very nice and it’s a quick drop in if you pre-order on the app. Most of the negative reviews are from 7+ years ago- this place only opened a couple years ago so consider it a new space and experience altogether.“
“Came in around 9:00pm, an hour before they were closing. I saw that they had cleaned the floors right before we walked in, and my mom accidentally dropped coffee all over the floor, we felt so bad! The staff were very nice about it and remade my mom’s drink. Whichever staff were working the night of April 17th definitely deserves a good shoutout from management for great customer service, they were so sweet about it.“
“Best Starbucks in the area. The coffee is consistently good here, which is surprisingly rare among Starbucks locations. I ordered the exact same drink at another nearby Starbucks when this store was closed, and it tasted completely different. In fact, it was so bad that it barely tasted like the same drink. The quality at this location is noticeably better. Also, the staff are nice and professional!“
“I spent the day walking around lower Manhattan looking at historical sites. Around lunch , I decided to stop in to this Starbucks for something. It is conveniently located across Pearl Street from the Queens Garden. Entrance is on Pearl. Service counter is just inside to the right. Seating arranged around the windows is limited.
I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and a lemon ice tea. The tea was very nice and not too sweet. The grilled cheese was very tasty but there was very little cheese inside. Needs more cheese.“
“Honestly this is one of my favorite Starbucks in Manhattan. The seating is spread out nicely and not too crowded in the earlier mornings. In my experience with the morning staff, I’ve always been greeted with some of the best early morning energy. There is a bathroom in this Starbucks which, well as any public restroom goes, you get what you get.
But overall this is one of my top picks. The morning staff also work FAST I often order while getting off the train at the station right next to the doors here and my drink is ready by the time I’m walking up the stairs. Little things that make the morning better.
While my experience here is mostly exclusive to the mornings I still recommend this location above the 57th and Lex location which does not have seating for example ☺️“
“Shout out to this location specifically because of how nice and generous they were for letting people use the bathroom for the Knicks championship parade.
The employees were very nice, and the manager was extremely understanding of the situation and was doing his best to let people get some relief using the bathrooms, but still keeping the Starbucks location, clean and professional
Thank you so much“
“Neveah is the sweetest!!
I ordered expresso and asked her for some ice, she so cutely transferred my drink and made it iced because she appreciated the weather outside! Loved her attitude !! And generous hospitality !!
She is a life saver!! ♥♥“
“I ordered a black coffee from Starbucks, but honestly, it wasn’t a good experience. The taste was way too strong and bitter, and after drinking it, I ended up with a headache that lasted the whole day. Really disappointed — I expected better quality from Starbucks.“
“A clean, efficient Starbucks perfect for a quick coffee run in the city. This location is grab and go only with no seating, but that’s exactly what makes it work so well for anyone moving fast through Manhattan.
The staff was quick and friendly, getting orders out efficiently without sacrificing quality or a good attitude. In a city where time matters, that kind of fast and pleasant service makes all the difference. The store itself is clean and well stocked — good selection of pastries, sandwiches, snacks, and drinks for anyone needing a quick bite alongside their coffee.
If you’re looking for a no-frills, reliable Starbucks to grab your coffee and keep moving, this spot delivers exactly that. No seating means no lingering, just fast friendly service and good coffee when you need it most.
Great option for commuters, tourists on the move, or anyone in the area needing a quick caffeine fix. Highly recommend.“
“Never thought I’d be going to bat for Starbucks, but you never know what a new day will bring.
I frequent this location. Not because I love Starbucks (I honestly don’t), but because the workers here are genuinely so kind and always brighten my day.
Today I was sitting inside on a client call when a man started berating the employees over what seemed to be an item being sold out. My CLIENT could hear him through my headphones. He demanded higher up managers, called the store manager awful, and whenever an employee tried to speak he told them, “Don’t open your mouth.”
Watching the manager, who looked like he could still be in college stand there shell shocked made me feel sick.
I think we can all agree corporations are often run terribly. But who do we think created those systems? The 22 y/o manager behind the counter?? Or the billionaires several tax brackets removed from the situation? We take our anger out on the wrong people way too often.
I stayed out of it because you never know how someone acting like that might react. But after he received gift cards, spoke to another manager on the phone, and STILL kept going, I finally told him he was disrupting the entire store and that the way he was speaking to the workers was alarming.
Suddenly, an indoor voice was discovered! Who knew he had one!
I’m writing this because he seemed determined to escalate the situation once he left, and I want it documented that I watched the entire thing. These employees handled it with more patience and professionalism than most people would have.
Please keep in mind that if you are frustrated or mad at the way a corporation is running, remember the billionaire who created the system is probably not behind the espresso machine. Thanks for coming to my Google review Ted talk. Be kind.“
“I rarely write reviews but I frequent this Starbucks during my morning commute into the office. They are always so busy during this time but they seamlessly & efficiently pump out orders. When I order ahead my drink is almost always waiting for me when I arrive, or very shortly after. It’s honestly impressive, they seem very organized even with the crazy volume at 9am. The staff are always so nice, offering in person greetings as I grab my drink, or writing nice notes right on the cup. The best part, no other location makes my blonde vanilla latte as good as they do. Every single time, it’s the best.“
“If you want to start your day off right in NYC, stop in to the Starbucks at 27th and Sixth Avenue. You will be greeted warmly by Marie. She will give you her beautiful smile I see you smile and prepare your order carefully. She will send you off with a skip in your step and a smile in your heart!!!!!!“
“I had a great experience at Starbucks Coffee Company. The space feels modern and comfortable, making it a nice spot to relax or get some work done. The coffee was smooth and consistent, just what you’d expect, and the staff were friendly and efficient. It’s a reliable choice when you need a quick pick-me-up in the city.“
“Nice, modern Starbucks in a great central location — just a few minutes from Grand Central Station. The coffee was really good and the staff friendly, even though it gets quite busy around lunchtime. Seating is limited but perfect for a short break or some quick work. Wi-Fi works well, and the atmosphere feels urban and relaxed. A solid Starbucks spot in the heart of Manhattan.“
“Great customer service! The cooler was fully stocked and the seating area was clean and spacious. My order arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed. Highly recommended if your your in the area and need a fix. *especially because the Starbucks around the corner recently closed *“
“Love this location Starbucks. Cosy and my coffee with oat milk is yummy! Nice setting and close to a fantastic shopping mall. Or for a cool breeze by the water.
And John, definitely thank you for your great service! 😃😃“
“If you have spare time and want to experience the Reserve, it's worth it. The first floor (to go and mobile ordering) was very busy and chaotic as expected. The 2nd floor with the sit down server section was nice. A quiet place to chat, work, or study. They have a full bar. Same kinds of food a regular starbucks offers but slightly elevated. The coffee was good if you like Starbucks coffee. I highly recommend the affogato.“
