“I want to publicly praise Jeff (manager I believe) at this location. My wife and I ventured down to this location from our hotel near Times Square. This was only our second time at a Reserve Roastery location. We had a wonderful experience thanks to Jeff and the staff’s hospitality. Along with making sure we knew where to go for the signature reserve drinks, he was so incredibly kind to give us a $20 gift card! I’ve never experienced this kind of service at any Starbucks location. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Jeff and staff!!!“

He remembers names and is so polite and efficient and cares about customers- I go to this location mostly and it's because of him. “The staff have always been really nice and the orders are quick to come out when you order them appropriately. I've seen them have to deal with different types of Karens here, from people not understanding its mainly for pickups (listed on the starbucks app but not google) or just Karens and Kevins being super entitled and privileged. The staff work hard and it seems like they really care, highly recommend this location for a quick pick me up throughout the day.“
“This Starbucks is different in color and different in decoration with different furniture. Outside decoration, color, and design, the theme is different from other Starbucks. Coffee and food are the same in taste and the same look. The location is precious. There were some customers even on the morning of my visit.“
“I work relatively close to this Starbucks and have been on many occasions. Shoutout to the amazing staff who ALWAYS greets you when you walk in the door, and are always in such a good mood despite how busy it may be. Probably my favorite Starbucks in NYC. “This location has a nice calm feel to it . Love the bar set up with stools and natural light hits well in here .Easily accessible entrance for wheelchairs & walkers with a ramp inside . That’s always is nice to see . Lots of room with a long table and kids enjoyed playing Jenga.“
“Nice Starbucks, but gets very crowded (especially over the weekends).I am a total dog person (we have one ourselves), but I was very annoyed by the dogs barking and fighting inside the store while ordering and/or then sitting and enjoying my coffee. “My day starts early and I always pop in for either a strong cup of coffee or a breakfast! This place is lively in the morning, the staff is exceptional and the orders come out quickly which is a plus since people are scrambling to get their caffeine fix and get to the office on time. It's also a great spot to sit eat your breakfast and then start your day if you have time. They have all the usual great coffees, teas and breakfast/bakery items and reasonably priced for starbucks! “REALLY appreciated the small world I created for myself, in the back, against the wall, no one bothering me. I sit and read, enjoy coffee and food. Totally got lost in my book.I could look up and see people rushing to and from, at 10am, while awaiting a doctor's appointment around the corner.They don't have condiments out. You have to request the amounts of sugar packets and milk. I guess the homeless took advantage.I had to clean my table. I could have asked a worker, but I could just as easily clean myself, because I carry enough sanitizer and was given enough napkins. I didn't mind helping out.I could picture myself sitting there for hours - long after the food and coffee had been digested. However, I just couldn't do that to incoming customers. Very tempting though ?.I'll be sure to include this location when awaiting an appointment.PLEASE TIP! No! I know not one soul that works with/for Starbucks, but about 100 years ago, I worked as a waitress. Times have gotten harder, and the staff were all nice.“
“This is a standard Starbucks store that serves a good variety of drinks, foods, and gift products. My main observation for this store, at 2:45pm, is that there were no customers in the store. So I didn't have to wait. I am sure this is the exception rather than the norm where a ton of people are waiting for coffee. Overall, a good experience here also, this location is close to one of the best shot of the Empire State Building.“

“I rotate the starbucks I go to but the service here is the sweetest of them all. I love the staff that works here. I wish I can remember all of their names (name tags are not clear , rarely) but Olga is the best. I believe her name might be Olgavy? But it's definetely the first 4 words Olga, she's always with a smile and staring the day with that good energy is always sweet!Kid-friendliness: Not much to say other than it is like pretty much all of other starbucks hehe and we have hundreds in the city!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there's no stairs on here. It's pretty convenient for someone who uses a wheelchair to come visit and get in / be comfy.“

“I come here almost every morning on the way to work. This location has some of the best sbux staff in the city! Always super sweet and clearly care about customers. I accidentally spilled my drink and the baristas made me another one, no problem. Drinks and food are excellent every time.“
“Came in today it’s a decent size location, great for people watching or catching up on work. It can get crowded between 3p-5pm with students and adults with laptops that linger for a while. Also seems to be a pitstop for the homeless (I have no problem with that, just an observation) the black guy with the glasses, about 5’10-5’11 who says “ I got you” a lot was a great customer service guy“

“Okay I rarely take the time to leave a Starbucks review (I don't know why this is, maybe I should do it more often), but I had to come here and write a POSITIVE review for the service here. I interacted with FOUR different employees here and they were all so warm, kind and made me feel welcome. Okay, as someone who hasn't lived in NYC very long but has had to adapt to the impersonal ways of this city...it surprised me. I came here in the afternoon on 2/12 around 1 pm on a Monday if you can give these employees some praise!The only feed back I'd give is there are three high top tables and only 3 chairs. “Great location right in the heart of Tribeca near the Canal St. Subway. Right across the street from Tribeca Park if you want to sit outside to enjoy your coffee and treat. The service was exceptional and the store was clean. There was plenty of seating inside.“

“The 40th & Lex Starbucks morning crew has excellent customer service. I typically sit in here 2x a week & the team is always kind and welcoming- great at communication and positive. They greet everyone who walks in and are super cheerful when doling out drinks and food. It's a pleasure to sit and relax here. They work pretty efficiently, have pickup drinks on the bar pretty fast. I've only had one drink issue & the barista was quick to fix it. “I have a love hate relationship with starbucks. I never really had a problem with them until covid hit and they started closing the bathrooms. The bathrooms would have a sign on them saying that they were out of service. Now I like to go to Starbucks to sit there and use my computer I never had a problem with anything until that. I pretty much stopped going because every time I went to a Starbucks the bathroom so close. How can you take and spend some money and sit there for 2 or 3 hours while you're spending money. And there be no bathrooms. So I stopped going. This particular Starbucks Not only was clean the folks were wonderful we are part of the SAG after strike so I got that has nothing to do with this but they let us use their bathrooms the bathrooms with clean they invites and and the Starbucks continues to do this and help everyone then I give them two thumbs up and I do mean to thumbs up when you have 200 300 400 500 people on strike they have to use the bathroom and not necessarily purchase anything and they invite to send God bless them with that said thank you very much continue to read like my reviews hit that like button and subscribe. I ordered their drinks and I tried a new drink that they have.Thee iced pumpkin cream chai latte. I’m not really a fan of chai but it wasssssss good. Definitely recommend trying this drink lol.They were super organized as you can see in one of my pics, they were sweet & patient. Loved their decor & their music was popping. “I am sadly disappointed at the 'revamp' Starbucks has gone through recently. The small tables dotted around feel lost and impersonal. It's not anyone's Third Place anymore, a role it used to fill so well. This is no longer a spot to gather with friends - it's a soul-less grab and go, and it is sad to see.Their one USP was their cosiness, there were always a couple of comfy chairs or a sofa, and the window bar was revolutionary in getting people to not simply get a coffee and sit staring down at it. “I came by here quite a few times since I worked nearby. This is your typical NYC grab-and-go Starbucks location, with typical Starbucks prices. The location sometimes gets pretty crowded and pretty hectic, especially since it handles a lot of customers from all the office buildings surrounding it. That being said, I think the staff does a really great job at being as efficient as possible, though they do miss a drink or two every once in a while. If you want less of a wait, I'd definitely recommend ordering ahead through the app and picking up later. There really isn't room to sit and chat with a friend, so if you're looking for a place to do that at, I might recommend looking elsewhere!“
