“Delicious Margarita pizza! All ingredients are fresh. We use to drive over the bridge to Cassis’s in Orangburg, NY for pizza, but no more. We met the owner yesterday and he really takes pride in his business. Venice Pizza is now our go to place when we want delicious pies.“

“The first pie I had from John at Fenice was the Detroit Red...which Tony picked up for me last week when i was at work...i finished the whole pie by just after midnight...but I had to go for the regular NY Cheese pie fresh from the oven. We scored one of the two tables there and were able to decide which of the other slices to bring home...it was like a pizza candy store. We didn't finish our pie so brought home two slices, and I wanted to try John's sicilian, I couldn't leave there without a Detroit Red slice and Tony wanted the multi cheese white pizza...every pizza we tried was perfect! something about the dough. The sauce. The cheese. The dough for the Sicilian and the Detroit Red was light and perfectly crunchy on the bottom. Flavor out of this world. We drove from White Plains just to try Pizza Fenice. worth the trip.“

“Mario’s Metro Pizza completely changed what I expected from a pizzeria. We came in for a full tasting and every single dish overdelivered. The chicken scarpariello was the standout, juicy chicken smothered in a sauce with real depth, sausage and thin cut potatoes mixed in, plated like something from a sit down Italian restaurant rather than handed over a counter. The vodka rigatoni with fresh burrata was another surprise, creamy, rich, and not something you expect to find at a pizza shop. The Philly cheesesteak pizza and hot honey pepperoni with vodka sauce were both excellent as well, and the hot honey and buffalo wings are made completely from scratch in house.

Beyond the food, the hospitality stood out. The owners, two brothers with over a decade of experience in kitchens across Westchester and New York City, took over a pizzeria that had been a neighborhood staple for decades and elevated it without losing that local feel. You can tell everything is made fresh and with real care.

“Absolutely fantastic experience! We started with the mozzarella sticks, which were perfectly crispy and came with honey for dipping—a unique touch that was surprisingly delicious. The Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful.

For pizza, we tried the Killer Bee and the Chicken Vodka, and both were outstanding. The flavors were incredible, and you can tell they use quality ingredients.

The real surprise was the cheesesteak—it was out of this world! The bread is made from their pizza dough, which takes it to another level.

We ordered the Beekman Ave specialty pizza, a regular pepperoni, and the eggplant pizza. The eggplant pizza was absolutely incredible—easily one of the best pizzas I've had in Westchester.

The style is a thin, bar-style pie similar to what you'd find in New Jersey, with a vibe like Colony Grill. The wings were excellent too. If you're a fan of thin-crust, bar-style pizza, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended.“

It was my first time having their pizza and it was delicious, had a magherita personal pie with arugula and wild mushrooms and the sauce to cheese ratio was perfect, the sauce was very good and the mushrooms and arugula were fresh. “I have to start with they have the Manhattan Special Espresso Soda! One of my favs and makes it worth the trip in and of itself.
That said, I got the eggplant dinner with a salad and garlic knots. I didn't specify a dressing and got a creamy balsamic that was really good. The knots were great with just a little burnt cheese on the top. Not burnt in a bad way, maybe crispy is a better term. But delicious and buttery. The eggplant was also spot on, perfect amount of sauce and nice tender eggplant with the thinnest layer of breading that was crispy along the edges. I'll definitely be back.“

“Randomly saw this truck parked on the side of the road and figured I’d stop by and give it a try. I really wasn’t expecting much considering it’s literally a truck on the side of the road randomly in the industrial part of Yonkers but I was absolutely blown away. I picked up a pizza on the way back to my job and when I opened it all of my coworkers were taken by how delicious it smelled. It tasted even better if that’s possible.The pizza is better than most of the pizza places around and crazy fair priced for the gourmet food quality. I’m really so shocked at how good this pizza is!
