“I did a take out order at the East Islip location. The food was good but the super melts do not seem to have much meat on them like they use to. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

“If there was an option for ten stars, I'd rate this place ten stars across the board! EVERY time I go to this location in Bay Shore, I'm so impressed on how spotless the whole place is. The one lady & man (he's usually in the back unless a few customers come in) that are always there are so nice. The lady is constantly cleaning up after herself after everything she makes. You can see that they work hard & appreciate the business. They give excellent customer service & I HIGHLY recommend this Carvel!
Parking: Because there are other merchants in the same plaza, parking isn't always so good.“

“Very tasty ices, fun flavours, definitely NOT naturally flavoured, however, these ices were WAY better tasting than big chain places . The LICORICE flavour was AWESOME with tiny bits of black licorice in it. The building facade has a fun energy to it; the garbage can looks like a massive ice cream cone.“

“Love this place. This best frozen yogurt and so many toppings even though I only take one. Kids will love it. It is very clean and every person who ever waited on me there has provided good service and had a positive attitude. Tuesday is buy one get one. Love the tart flavor and good old vanilla the best. There are many flavors to choose from.“

“This is probably my top 2 favorite ice cream place (my other fave is sugar hill creamery). SO MANY FLAVORS!! Amazing sundaes, the staff has always been incredibly kind, they literally warm up a brownie to crumble on the Sunday without asking (not a great example but you get the point), I absolutely love it here.
Vegetarian options: It’s ice cream lol
Kid-friendliness: Great for kids! Lots of options for the adventurous and the picky.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps! The door is not automatic, you have to pull it, but there are no steps and it is easy to order from a wheelchair“

“This is my husband and my spot by default. Staff is always friendly. What takes away from my perfect experience is the stale cones. After enjoying the ice cream part the cone leaves me saying I’m not coming back. I come back with the hopes I’d get a fresh one. They must find a way to keep the cones fresh.“

“It's an ice cream shop made great by helpful and caring employees. We were a bit of a mob, and the young man who took care of us was extremely helpful and got evey single order correct. Very nice place. Parking can be a bit tricky, but then again, it's on main street in Sayville...enough said.“

“The staff seemed reluctant to understand who was paying and was surprised that I wanted to make an order for myself as well... Just very cold personalities like robots. Not friendly or inviting, more like they did not like us or looked at us like second rate citizens.There is no need to profile or judge anyone because of the way they dress or by what they drive. I had lots of cash, but do not look at me as if I do not belong.If this is the case, close your shop. I am a paying customer and deserve to be treated with Respect!“

“A very charming shop. In town for work and decided to go for a treat. Banana cream ice and peanut butter and jelly ice were the best I’ve had. I’m a stickler with banana flavored items and it is most definitely made with fresh bananas without any artificial flavors or colors. The owner was very pleasant and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend to anyone in town or passing through! Bring cash-it’s absolutely worth it!“
