Althea's has a carefully selected variety of local wines and beers that give you a chance to taste test in one location. “Our first time staying at the property. Check-in was super easy by text (since card was on file). We stayed in the stand-alone cabins which were awesome since we had a dog with us and planned to leave him in the cabin when we went to dinner, and he whines for a bit when left alone in a new place, so having a stand-alone cabin was helpful to not disturb other guests. The cabins were new, clean, nicely appointed, very comfortable bedding, good WiFi, easy parking right in front of the cabin, a full kitchenette. It was like a real one-bedroom house. Good location close to Watkins Glen and nearby wineries. Staff was very friendly. Will be happy to stay again in the future!“

“Stopped by here this past Sunday after looking for a place to eat and so far it turned out to be awesome!Service was amazing and she was super helpful and sweet.The food was great and so were the drinks. They have an outdoor section as well. It had nothing but beautiful views there of the lake.“

“We had an impromptu stay in Watkins Glen on our way home to NC. We absolutely loved the hospitality of the staff at Seneca Lodge. The room was quaint and clean. The food at the Lodge restaurant was amazing, both for supper and breakfast. Can't recommend the cinnamon raisin French toast enough! Our server, Joyce, was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!“

“Food was good. Service decent. Considering it was post-lunch hour when we visited, the service was a bit slow. It was expensive for lunch ($30 a piece before tipping). I had a California Cobb salad with Bleu Cheese dressing and beef steak, medium rare, tossed on the top.
We were outside, mostly in the shade, for the duration of the meal. The floor is concrete and reasonably comfortable in the warmth. In cooler months it will likely cause you to shiver.“
