“Villa Montes Review

You need to visit Villa Montes in Old Bethpage if you want delicious Italian food! Montes has awesome food, spectacular service, and a beautiful atmosphere!
The food at Montes is marvelous. The garlic squares were dripping butter and oil. They were very flavorful and crispy. They come served super hot and fresh. The cheese pizza was cheesy and the crust was toasty and crunchy. The chicken fingers were perfectly cooked. The bread crumbs were crispy and they came served with ketchup. The sugar knots were sweet, sugary, and cinnamony!
The service at Montes was fast and friendly. The food came out quickly and they always had more food waiting for anyone who wanted more. The staff greeted us with smiles.
The atmosphere was lovely. The restaurant was clean and spacious. One side was counter service and the other side was sit down service. They had pretty artwork on the walls and dim lighting. There was a TV playing a cooking show on the wall. There was a mix of booths and tables. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. There was Italian music playing softly.
We think you should definitely visit Montes in Old Bethpage for a great dining experience!“

“pass it every night on my way home from work. and decided to meet a friend there sat night. my parents come from Italy and I spent all my summers there as a kid. it is the closes I have ever had to pizza in Italy, my only very small complain is. I wish maybe a few more choices for apps.“

We are so glad that we did. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic and welcoming. We had the baked clams and seared tuna, delicious! The beet salad with the quinoa, freshing! The salmon cooked perfectly! The squid ink pasta with seafood (I didn't share) was that good.

“We moved off Long Island over 8 years ago and always loved la Parma when we lived here even though it was an hour drive for us to enjoy the amazing food. This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!“

“Went in with a party of 10. 4 of us eat gluten free. The owner came over and explained everything we could have, which was a lot. They have gf pasta. And said that if we call ahead they will make custom meals like gluten free chicken parmigiana. Joe took our order and remembered everything perfectly. We will definitely be back!“

It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

“Excellence at Every Visit
As many of my followers know, I don’t believe in one-and-done restaurant reviews. Real opinions come from returning multiple times to understand the consistency, quality, and service over time. That’s how a restaurant earns the label of being truly great.

Last night we returned to Piccolo and once again it delivered.

A warm greeting, a quick stop at the bar, running into friends for some laughs, and then a beautiful dinner with my wife in one of Huntington’s most charming dining rooms. Even with a lively crowd, the atmosphere somehow melts into the background and lets you focus on the moment and the person across the table.

Jeremy took great care of us while Jason stopped by to check in, something that always makes the experience feel personal.

We started with the wedge salad and a thoughtful complimentary tuna tartare that was bright, fresh, and beautifully balanced with avocado.

My wife chose the Orecchiette Caroline — perfectly balanced with hot & sweet sausage, broccoli rabe, tomatoes, garlic and oil.

I went with the weekly special Braised Boneless Beef Short Rib with horseradish cream, rich jus, crispy onions, vegetables and mashed potatoes — tender, flavorful and beautifully presented.

We finished with their house-made carrot cake and cappuccino, which remains one of my favorites.

Piccolo continues to deliver warm hospitality, exceptional food, and that perfect romantic neighborhood atmosphere that keeps us coming back.
