“Lovely people, lovely place, incredibly delicious food! Ingredients are very fresh, often from the local farmers market. There are both very creative dishes and classics on the menu. The Queensboro is a special restaurant that not only cares about the quality of their food and atmosphere, but also sincerely cares about the community.Kid-friendliness: Roomy and fun space that is very comfortable for those bringing children. The staff is super friendly with children as well!“

“I went there for my 56th birthday and I had a wonderful time. The staff was efficient. And friendly. I will be going back. The only thing I had a problem with that The Collard Greens and String Beans was cook with pork and I don’t eat pork. And I really wanted them Collard Greens. I know Golden Corral is base on the South but can They be some Collard Greens and String Beans cooked in turkey meat for the near future?“

“We visited on a Wednesday afternoon and it was bustling. I imagine weekend brunch is a whole vibe. The ambiance inside is inviting, warm and cozy (see photos). I appreciate the artwork, photographs and decor. It speaks to the rich heritage of Harlem and specifically to the area where the restaurant is located. There’s a decent amount of seating, some tables are closer to others than I prefer. However our table was perfect for me. You can make reservations which might be a good idea. There is also a good amount of outdoor seating. Visit their website for the policy regarding time allowed at table (to be able to accommodate more customers)… seems reasonable to me.Maia took good care of us. She was friendly, attentive without being intrusive and on point. She came back and checked on us although the restaurant was bustling as mentioned previously. There is a list of specials beautifully written on their board. With so many dishes I wanted to try… I must return (maybe for one of the live music events). I was intrigued by the fusion of food from different cuisines. I ended up ordering curry chicken sandwich with salad and plantain on the side. It was a good portion. I was full without feeling overstuffed. Definitely worth a trip to Harlem to check them out.“

“We were at Ginny's Supper club downstairs at Red Rooster for the Sunday Gospel Brunch. The BEST way to spend Mother's Day, given that I couldn't be with my kids. My husband and I loved it! The food was great- fried chicken and mac n cheese with collard greens. And the concert was fantastic- those amazing voices! Tell the audience there's mousse served at the end of the buffet dinner. A lovely surprise but we were full.“

“Definitely the best cocktail bar in Astoria at this moment. Best place for a friend gathering or a date. The few places in Astoria where you can talk to someone without shouting over the music, while still having privacy with the volume level. The vibes, the exceptional service that you can’t really find anywhere, my group of 6 friends were accommodated last minute no problem. Rare find. Recommend to anyone looking for an intimate place in this area. Great bar selection!“

“Family restaurant with typical American food! We came for lunch around 3 p.m. - there was a bit of a wait and the room was full. Relatively noisy place. We had fried chicken with Mac and cheese on the side and ribs with mashed potatoes and green beans. Hot corn bread is served while waiting for the dishes with butter! It was very good condition, correct portions! We recommend !“

“This is the first pizza place I've been to in the U.S., and the owner couple kindly helped me with the bill. The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable, so I want to go again. I thought it would be a greasy pizza, but it wasn't greasy. I ordered it thinking it was a Korean large size, but it was almost twice the size, so if you're Korean, be careful about the size.Really good to buy pizza, burger etc.“

“This place is such a great addition to the neighborhood. Great music with tons of music memorabilia to look at. Excellent food and drink but the real draw is the atmosphere. The owners are awesome too - they just want everyone to have a good time.“

“We are huge fans of Peter Kelly's, but the little things need to be improved. We've gone to Kelly's places since the 90's, and are big believers, and X2O's lunch used to be the best buy in town. Like everything else the price has climbed, and it is no longer a great bargain, but it is still worth every penny at $36. The lunch menu has expanded, and even though we miss the risottos, the selection is ample, and the specials are terrific. What caused the rating to drop from five to four stars are two simple but vital things - the bread, which used to be a highlight, was very mediocre, and the coffee was weak, unusual for X2O. The food was spectacular, but the little things need to return to their usual high level.“

“I love this place. The chipotle chicken sandwich is amazing. The service is excellent. Humble interior, delicious food (try the wake and bake burger that has an egg and a hash brown) and reasonably priced. The servers have a great energy and are quick. As a local, I’d recommend this place to anyone around the area.“

“I went here for lunch on a week day with a friend. The staff immediately helped us with the door because I'm in a wheelchair. The place was pretty empty except for a group of old men in their seventies and eighties. I ordered the veal meatballs and the fig and goat cheese flatbread which was exquisite. They have a fantastic drink menu and their service is impeccable!“

“Super aesthetically pleasing interior with floral walls and dark green chairs. It's not a huge space but it's well thought out. Had the hibiscus margarita and the spicy Paloma, both refreshing drinks. The vegan cauliflower with pesto dish is a favorite. For entree, I had the surf and turf burrito. It came with a side salad. I did not have room for dessert but they had churros on the menu which I will have to try next time. Service was quick and the food came out pretty quickly.“

“Perfect for dinner on a long drive home to NYC. The food was flavorful, comforting, and served in generous portions! Good value, good ambiance, felt very relaxed and taken care of. Loved the fresh homemade rolls. The chicken parm was excellent. Classic Italian American food and probably a great burger too (although we didn’t try that).“

“Ordered a salmon bowl and a side of plantains from here for delivery after finding out Lolo’s closed due to rent hikes (honestly screw landlords ?) but I can confidently say this place is gonna be my new plantain spot bc wow are they good.Salmon bowl was good too, pineapple rice was really delish (a little dry but I ordered the food like 30 mins before the store closed so they still get 5 stars bc dry rice towards the end of the day is just reality and the sauce from the salmon made up for it).Wok veggies were very fresh too (which is again impressive considering ordering right before closing time).“

“Arriving at 6:00 on a Saturday evening without reservations, my companion and I were delighted to be seated at a small booth in the bar area. Great seating, as it was comfortable and felt private. We each enjoyed a special cocktail, and appetizers of delicious cauliflower and truffle pizza and popcorn shrimp (complete with tiny crumbles of popcorn!) We then really enjoyed the chicken pot pie and cucumber and broccoli entre salad. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable. Very fine experience. Look forward to returning soon.“

“— current review:The food is still amazing and so good that i would be back for it. but after speaking about this place to all of my friends and taking them there I was very disappointed with the service of this male server (dont recall nor made an effort to ask the name) but he was very “ironic” on the way to serve us and did not make us feel welcomed/comfortable like we always do. It felt like a weird interaction that all I wanted to do was eat and leave.— this was my previous review:Oh. My. God. This place is heaven on earth. I strongly recommend the pancakes and the jalapeño biscuit but honestly anything you order would probably be amazing as well.“

“Great cozy spot for a cold Sunday beer and grilled cheese. We got the Fun-ghi and Figgy Piggy and it was a good mix of sweet and salty. The shop has tons of fine foods for gifts or appetizers, a long fresh cheese bar, and craft beer to go. What more could you need!“

“We were nicely greeted at the front by the hostess, and then again at our table by the owner or manager. The staff couldn't be nicer. The food, service and the ambience were outstanding. When we first got there the acoustics were not great. It was noisy with the music playing and hard to hear one another. It was better when they switched to the piano playing.. The bathroom was clean and smell nice.I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.“

“Dinner on 02/01/2024.I had eaten at Jackson Hole before in 2015 at the (now closed) Bayside location, and ever since then I have always dreamed of returning here to eat their amazing burger again. For me, the one from Jackson Hole is the best in the world: big, tasty, succulent, I love it!! Also absolutely worth trying is the chilli with grated cheddar on top, a delight. And then the environment: this is the real American diner!! If you come to the USA, this is where you absolutely must eat at least once. You are great!!“

“I’ve *always* and will forever love this place and the staff there. Many years ago, my friend Jon and I went for lunch and not only was the food so delicious and comforting, we were given a free drink and lovely vibes. Today, I went back and he remembered me and gave me a hug and I bought a couple of things with elemental gold in it as well as sea moss and it just felt so right to go in and revisit the place. There are some other occasions like events that I went to there and it’s always fun and the food ?? I was offered a treat on the house but I was quite full, but it was really nice to be treated like I was a welcome guest and so for this, always 5 stars!“

“Came here with a friend from Brooklyn. It wasn't too busy. Got seated right away. We ordered eggs Benedict and chicken & waffles, and sweet potato fries. They have $7 Mimosas with 3-4 flavors. So the mimosas were pretty good. Tried 3 different flavors: passion fruit, lychee, and pineapple. We both really liked the lychee one. Although it was a touch sweeter than I would have liked. My friend liked her eggs Benedict. Basically licked the plate. We chowed down on the fries. Although neither of us cared much for the sauce that came with it. So we had them bring us ketchup. It's hard to find a place that makes a good chicken & waffles. Their waffle was good, balanced with flavor good texture. The chicken was good too. Breaded nicely, tasty and moist inside. Wish they gave maple syrup with it though or just honey. They gave me some over processed syrup like log cabin but it was fine Service was great too. Our server was on it. She always appeared at the right time. Just when our drinks were getting low or if we had a question. Food also came out at a nice pace. Looking forward to our next visit.“

I was there last night with the multiple party of 5-6 vs Me alone they still made sure I was good, if I needed anything and fixed any small hiccups I had with my order.Food: Well cooked, great BUT my only issue was the fact the kitchen communicate to Stephanie they didn't have my request sauces, buffalo or Mango H. and just gave me plain but even when waiters really picked it up and got me "hot" sauce on the side. For Anyone wondering pricing on my orderx2- 6 pcs Wingsx1- cocktailTotal: $32+ optionally gave 57% tip.Good luck to your business and I wish you the best “

“Yes Mama is one of the best discoveries of Astoria this year!Jessica runs the business all by herself and does a damn good job of it! Not only did she cook homemade Puerto Rican recipes, but she hires entertainment along with having a great selection of wine.I had the Carne Guisada (beef stew with white rice) and it felt like I was eating a mother’s cooking. Paired it with a couple glasses of Rosasera and a lovely Latin jazz band playing in the background and it was heaven. There were even some board games for us the play with while we waited on our food.Topped off the night by splitting a plate of the coquito flan served with the most adorable heart shaped spoons. It was so rich and decadent. If you live in or venture out to Astoria, please please please pay this place a visit! You’ll be so happy you did!“

“The food was good but our waiter that day was not so good she was very unfocused and did not come to our table at all to see if we needed napkins more coffee or anything but either way the food was hitting and it was great food experience. “I live in the neighborhood and all the restaurants in this street have loud music during the week which imposes a lack of conversation and chilling out when you’re having a drink or an appetizer and a restaurant and restaurants now unfortunately have loud music and it makes you feel stressed and uncomfortable not being able to enjoy yourself having a drink and listening to your thoughts. So I’ve discovered this is a place if you want to chill out atmosphere with great drinks, a great bartender and the music is out of lab where you can actually have a conversation not only with the service staff but with other people next year, so I recommend it’s not only for happy hour during the week and such.“

“My family and I decided to dine at the Northend Food Hall last Friday, following a friend's recommendation. Despite the crowd, mainly families with young children, and the noise, we eventually secured a table for four. Our orders included birria tacos and Mexican Elote from La Chula Taqueria, a burger with fries from Harlem Public, and a Dominican pizza from the renowned Wahizza. The food surpassed our expectations; my son particularly enjoyed the birria tacos and Mexican Elote. Personally, I found nostalgia in the Dominican Pizza, reminiscent of my childhood in the Dominican Republic. Additionally, my wife indulged in a frozen margarita from the bar, thoroughly relishing it. Overall, our dining experience exceeded expectations, and we're eager to return and explore more culinary delights.“

“I've been to a few that are better, but at the end of the day, it's a Chuck E. Cheese with a bar, which comes in handy. Drinks are watered down, so no surprise there.Kid-friendliness: The place is 90/10 kid friendly.
