“Came for a date night and I will start off by saying the atmosphere was amazing! Now let’s get to the customer service…. There should be better training for the staff. They were all so sweet however, the communication to the customers can be worked on a little bit more as far as letting them know “hey my name is…. I’ll be right with you” instead of looking us in the faces when walking to a table behind us to conclude their time there( this happened like 4 different times and when we were about to ask for her service that’s when she finally said I’ll be with you….. after about 20 minutes of sitting there ready to order)When we ordered, they forgot my partner’s burger meal and we waited about another 10 minutes for that. I ordered truffle fries with my wings and the first couple of bites were delicious but after a while the taste of Parmesan was taking over the entire palate, their regular fries though? 👍🏿👍🏿The games were fun and we had a blast. Will definitely be coming back.“

“Ramro was excellent! We had the duck and pork momos, beef longanisa, skate, duck, gnocchi and saag paneer. When it came to dessert, my son asked “can we get another skate?” Flavors were balanced and full and the skate, beef longanisa and momos were the favorites for us. It is very cozy and homey and the service felt like family. Oh, and my watermelon cocktail was excellent too. We are so excited about Ramro being so close and in the neighborhood; this will be our new family favorite.“

“I didn’t expect to like this place as much as I did, but honestly everything we had was delicious. The fried chicken was incredible, but what really surprised me was the chicken and waffle combo — I had no idea that would work so well together, but it absolutely does.

We ordered the Rev. Al Sharpton and the President Obama, plus collard greens and black eyed peas on the side. Both sides were really good, but the black eyed peas stood out for me — super flavorful and comforting. The collard greens were also great and tasted very authentic.

On top of that, the price was more than reasonable for the amount and quality of food we got. Definitely not expensive for what it is.

“Monte the owner was super friendly and greeted us when we came in and very accommodating ! Great local atmosphere. You can smell the home cooked food when you walk in. Food is very tasty. If you want to support local businesses you won’t be disappointed.“

“I had an amazing experience at Applebee’s Grill + Bar, and it was all thanks to Crystal, our waitress. From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. She made sure our drinks were always full, checked on us at the perfect times, and gave great menu recommendations.

What really stood out was her positive attitude and genuine care for the customers. Even though the restaurant was busy, she handled everything smoothly and made us feel like a priority. Service like this truly makes the whole dining experience better.

If you visit Applebee’s, I highly recommend asking for Crystal. She’s a fantastic waitress and a great example of what excellent customer service looks like. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

It's a really nice family-owned restaurant in the area. Would be a decent date spot, especially because of the outdoor seating... call ahead and see if you can bring a board game.

Kimchi burger was amazing and I'd come back just for that!“

“My family and I went to Veranda restaurant in Bayside yesterday for. Birthday dinner. The restaurant is well located, with street parking and valet service as well. There’s an outdoor patio, that for obvious reason we couldn’t use. The temperatures in NY have been in the single digits lately. The food and the service were on another level! Gregory was very attentive, welcoming and friendly. The food was finger liking good! I had the pan seared scallops with spinach risotto and OMG. I can’t wait to go back. Everyone was pleased with the their food choices and I highly recommend this place, unfortunately I didn’t take pics of everyone’s food. Only if mine, I hope you find this review useful. “Brooke and Anna made my 60th birthday extra special at Hard Rock. My wife and I stopped in for lunch before taking a tour of the stadium. Brooke was our server and was fantastic. She told us to come back for a drink at the bar after the tour and before the game. We did. Brooke had reserved us two seats and the atmosphere was great. Another server named Anna found out it was my birthday and brought me an ice cream Sunday with a candle, Had the whole place sing Happy Birthday to me……Brooke and Anna really made my day. We will be back..

“Delicious breakfast old style atmosphere“

“Had the breakfast burrito 🌯 been wanting to get to this place for a while.

Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was good. The chorizo was the one I went with definitely wasn’t disappointed.

I don’t think it’s worth a far drive but if you’re in the area or it’s not completely out your way it’s definitely worth stopping in for a visit. The place does have seating but not a lot of room. There is a park near by and lots of outdoor seating near the area. That’s what I chose to do.

The breakfast burrito price was amazing especially for nyc the food was good quality and really delicious. The sauce everyone was talking about wasn’t over powering. Matter of fact I wish I had more next time I’ll ask for some on the side felt like I needed an extra pump 😂.

I truly enjoyed this place and I’m sure you guys will also the coffee was mid but it’s ok food makes up for it.
