“Hadn't been there since 2016 possibly when I moved away from the area in 2017 still got the same day service the same hostess was there and everything was wonderful I told them where I was and we reminisced and had a great time and hey the food is still the same as it was back then no changes next time in the area hope you have more money so I can buy more food to bring up to where I live I'm in the mountains where the options are limited and few. BBQ Spare Ribs were amazing in taste & fully cooked, not too soft, just right! Scallion pancakes arrived very crispy & not soggy like others I’ve had! Pork fried rice was seasoned perfectly! They also accommodated my no egg request in the rice for an added bonus! Dumplings were delicious with an adequate amount of juicy pork filling! Boneless BBQ ribs were soft, full of sauce & tasty as well! Prices are a bit higher, but you get your money’s worth overall! Try it you’ll be happy you did!“

“They seated us then forgot about us. Then they corrected it quickly. Got dumplings 🥟 to take home they forgot the sauce. I know they just opened. “You would think the food would be consistent from one PF Chang's to another but this is not the case.
We have been to many PF Chang's in many different states and we agree, the food in this location was by the far the best that we have had at any location. Our server was great. The only disappointment was the men's bathroom was nasty with urine on the floor and paper towels in the urinals. I mentioned this to the bartender who said they would take care of it right away. I saw the manager go to check it out but even a half hour later nothing had been done to correct it.“

The best things we tried were the shrimp rice rolls and watercress dumplings in pork bone soup - absolutely well made and really delicious. “Chinese noodle place along 2nd Ave in the UES. Prices are not bad given in Manhattan. Decent taste, actually great bang for your buck. Space is tight, 3 tables and a couple of bar / counter seating. Good for 2 people max. Most people buy to go or pick ups. They also have the choice of Egg noodle vs Rice noodle. I prefer Egg noodle over their rice noodle. Overall, reasonably priced noodle soup in the UES. Tight space, as they only have 3 tables.“

“I go every Monday with my husband , we love this place , the front guy desk with glasses I don’t know his name but he is so amazing he is one of the kind me and my husband loves going there because of how he is treating us nice and good customer service , my husband is a police officer and I’m a teacher so we only get 1 once a week to go on a date and every week on Monday we go to curry N wok because it’s so awesome , the food so amazing too , customer service amazing , I love the DoSa , pakora with their amazing tea , also their sambar Veda super super amazing , this place it’s my go to . “Great food. I now travel from LES for the chicken corn soup (hard to find). I’ve tried a few other dishes and they were also great. David remembers customers and orders to perfection. And is honest with cooking time scale (rarity in the business). Cash only but there’s an ATM next door at JJ food corp the deli on the corner.

“I ordered shrimp with broccoli from East Bamboo Chinese Restaurant and was very disappointed. The broccoli and sauce were very bland, and the shrimp tasted bad and seemed spoiled. I called the restaurant to let them know, but they told me the chef said the shrimp was fresh. Unfortunately, based on the taste, that was not my experience at all. Overall, the food quality was poor, and I would not order from them again.“

“Decided to stop by after driving by on my way home from work. I have often passed this location and wanted to stop by and I am glad I did. I was drawn in by the inviting decor and clean interior. Cuisine is tasty traditional Chinese served in a contemporary setting. I opted for take out as I was on my way home but will definitely dine in to enjoy the sit down experience next time. I took home their sesame tofu with white rice. Takeout is carefully packaged and prepared with the diner in mind. (A much appreciated upgrade from typical restaurants that just throw your dish in a container and toss it in a bag for you.) I visited your restaurant today and overall had a great experience. The food was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. While the selection wasn’t very large, it was more than fair for the price — around $15 per person felt like excellent value. Everything I tried was genuinely delicious, and I also appreciated that drinks were included.

However, I’d like to mention one concern. It seemed that servers only refill drinks once or twice on their own, and after that they stop checking in unless asked. We noticed this pattern not only at our table but at others as well. Of course, when we asked, they were polite and refilled drinks — but without requesting, service became quite limited.

I’m not sure if this is an internal policy, but it does affect the overall experience. Perhaps it would be better to either allow more consistent refills or introduce a small additional charge for drinks, as some other places do, while maintaining attentive service.

Aside from this, everything else was excellent — great food, good atmosphere, and friendly staff. We still left a 20% tip, but I did notice that other guests seemed less satisfied in this regard.

“After years of eating at all the local spots (Bamboo Garden, Peking, and New Great Wall) I can honestly say this is the BEST Chinese food I’ve had in White Plains. The extra drive is absolutely worth it. Portions are “old school” big, prices run about $2 to $3 less than other places, and they always throw in something extra for free. The egg rolls taste just like the ones you remember as a kid, and the boneless spare ribs were superb (IMO). My wife, who usually gets headaches when MSG is used, had no issues here, which says a lot. Just a heads up that it’s cash only and they don’t deliver, but honestly, that’s no big deal when you can eat this well without it costing an arm and a leg!“

“Decided on Christmas day that I'd be checking out a spot I've had my eye on for a bit being a regular in the area and although they were slammed busy on this holiday the lady at the front was just so genuinely friendly and extremely professional despite the business. Even chatted with her for a bit and that alone made my day of just such a wonderful personality.

The food was extremely affordable, I called ahead of time just three blocks down from my walk and when I arrived I didn't have to wait longer than 3 minutes to pick up and be on my way! Super fast service and deliciously savory food. I personally was craving beef and broccoli and got the lunch special and it was tender, savory, and umami. They were generous with the beef cuts too with a great broccoli and beef ratio! The pork fried rice further complimented the experience especially the bits of salty pork in the rice being the highlight of its tastiness. The wonton soup had such a satisfying broth that felt so good to enjoy on such a cold day!

Couldn't reccomend this place enough from the lovely, friendly, and efficient service to also how affordable and super tasty the food was! “This is the most horrible restaurant place I've ever ordered from. I ordered and picked up in store. I ordered "Roast Pork with Chinese vegetables" I specifically asked if the vegetables included bok choy and was assured that it did. When I got home with the food the only vegetable included with the Pork was celery. Just a container of pork and celery, another time I ordered BBQ Ribs and it was a very small order and some of them were burned. When I questioned the counter person he answered that they had run out. Then why did they sell, and charge me an order? Don't order food from this place, If you want to enjoy it, it is BAD and they.“

“I’ve been going here for 30 years and the owner is such a nice/kind man! Other staff is great too and are always friendly. The food is always great! Chicken wings & fries are always great. The spare ribs and rib tips are always delicious. One of the few places that have ham fried rice, which is yummy as well. They make the best shrimp broccoli I’ve ever tasted. Other places always make the broccoli too hard and barely any sauce but they make it just right. Lo mein is good too!“

“I’m not exactly sure what I got but it’s a pork chop set and comes with soda or soup. There are two styles of meat. One being the deep fried sausage, and the other is caramelized pork chop with bone and with out bone (they break down the pork chop for you into bite size), also comes with a tea egg and various types of veggies (string beans, egg plant, zucchini, broccoli, carrots, and pickled radish). $14 cant beat it, it’s 2 meals in one. Over all the dish is great! Savory, sweet and salty, nothing is over powering, it’s very well balanced. Nothing is too oily, white rice will not get soggy ! Mine was pre made sitting in the heat box and it was still fresh and tasted amazing !“
