To start, I love the menu and really appreciate the variety of options for simple rolls (healthy, limited/no filler ingredients) versus the usual sole focus on an array of specialty rolls. Additionally, the portions were perfect, especially the rice to protein ratio, and the prices are incredibly fair.

Lastly, i’m a fanatic for avocado maki rolls, and the avocado was so perfectly RIPE that it was borderline melting in my mouth. It might sound silly, but I was in heaven lol.

“One of the best Ramen Bars I’ve ever been to. The flavors across the menu are unreal. The Spicy Miso Ramen w/ Pork Belly in particular was one of the best soup broths I’ve ever tasted. “I've been going here for years & the food is great & fairly priced. They have a great maki lunch meal with soup/salad & 3 rollls for a decent price. Their bento box is great! You gey to choose 2 meats plus a roll, shumai, rice & tempura veggies and soup & salad. Very good. Even better they a stamp card & you get stamps for every $25 you spend. Once card had has 10 stamps you get a $25 gift card to apply to your next visit. Honestly, lovely staff & calm environment. So glad its a neighborhood staple.“

“This is the place if you want authentic, high quality, Japanese food. The small dishes on the separate menu are really delightful.

Prices reflect food quality. Be prepared to pay for the best all around Japanese food in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

They run it like fine dining, not like a casual sushi bar. So they have strict rules around noise, noisy kids, and cell phones. Don't expect to bring your kid and set him up with an ipad with the volume on. Seems reasonable. No outside food, no exceptions. Seems reasonable.

The servers were polite, no issues in this department.

“I'd like to happily say that I've been to this place several times and ordered delivery a few times as well and they've been consistently great. All staff are very friendly, and the delivery is fast and correct. They have great lunch specials with rolls, but I've had dinner there before, too which is just as good. Hibachi-seafood(though I had it served to the regular table)-was delicious and a quality portion, but the sushi is just as good. Their avocado salad is great.“

“I had a wonderful date night yesterday at Osaka. I randomly had a taste for hibachi so I searched and came across this location in Tarrytown. Although it was a 30 min drive from home we decided to try our luck. When we arrived, to surprise it was jammed packed however they say us down and we had drinks while we waited. The hostess was very attentive during our wait and even provided edamame on the house because the wait was quite extensive due to 3 birthday celebration which were lagging at each table. Once we were seated the food was made fairly quick and my partner and I enjoyed our meals. The noodles were a bit salty but overall my I really enjoyed my meal and my partner even told me my pick was a great choice! I will be back soon!“
