“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“This place is amazing!!!! I went with my grandmarents for dinner and I orderd the Branzino Francese AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! The garlic linguine went beautifully with the lemon wine sauce and was filling too!

The sevice was fantasic as well, the waitress made sure our table was taken care of very well!

And dont even get me started on the ambiance! this is the perfect spot for a date night, family event, or even if your out with your friends!

“Excellent coffee shop on Long Island, come for the caffeine and stay for the community. We stopped by my mom’s favorite coffee shop mid-afternoon, because the family was trying to kill me with caffeine deprivation. The oat milk latte was carefully made and smooth and easy to drink. The interior is great, for a brief moment in time you are anywhere in the World with roll up garage doors, fooseball and a clean setting for evening entertainment. I’ll be back next time I’m visiting!“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. “Rippers is located in a concession area in rockaway beach so it is a fun, Open atmosphere consist of picnic tables outside under a covered area. I find that the food is very good. Burgers chicken fries. I can just have fries .. I think that they are excellent. They used to sale a whole fish that was divine. There are drinks , wine beer. They often play music and have live entertainment.. they typically close in late summer for winter.“

“My friends and I had a lovely afternoon at The Rockaway Hotel Pool house. We were greeted by a warm and friendly hostess, Isabella, who made us feel so welcomed. Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. Our waiter, Andrew, was polite and helpful . I highly recommend coming to The Rockaway Hotel because their staff is highly professional and attentive.“

We both ordered off the lunch special menu, and both got the same a pork jäger schnitzel with some French fries…15 bucks. The food was hot and tasty and the price was reasonable.
